Ayam really interested but all the cheap tracks are out of reach :x The only nearest one is Sepang which is RM300 per track day

True. But I'd rather be stressed on track than be stressed on a genting road that has longkangs everywhere. But I guess you were stressed on track because you were competing with others. On Genting roads whether I am leisure driving or not, you heavily depend on the road conditions to be good as well as the car infront of you isn't a newbie, like a certain person who kept braking in the middle of a corner causing me and a few cars behind me to all lose traction and slide off almost going into a drain. To top it off I wasn't even going fast in my opinion. On track on the other hand I'd be all over the grass or sand, the worry of damage and injury is very much less in comparison. So I agree it's not relaxing, but at least I'm not as worried of dying a horrible death. |

wat we saw during the races : 1. the track not suitable for campro , alot of lowend torque needed 2. few apex corners can accelerate if let the tyres touch near the grass, coz the road pave in abit like longkang.i see some fast cars did that. 3. the track route is clockwise, guan's left tyre(passengerside) wear out alot more than right side.. camber ,alignment ,toe, tyre pressure etc adjustment needed 4. i like Darren's gear ratio for this kinda track 5. suspension cannot be too hard as the roads patches and some uneven.. but i felt our cars front suspension need abit more stiff suspension. as we see many other cars corners roll alot less. 6. we are not used to the track, braking point not consistent. IMHO : 1. Darren can go faster than guan, guan is street style racer smooth, cool and calm, Darren gungho garang racer & a high dreamer for wat he wants. 2. i would choose yewwing as this track racer. his fire in him is very suitable with the racers here.. but yewwing 's car not suitable.i understand how yewwing feels inside him , he is a DDP when it comes to real race. i lost alot of fire in me already. im waiting for round II .. that time we will make |

heh.. cannot finish learning punya... going gets tough ,tough gets going.. if u have a lighter car like satria then not so troublesome for left foot braking. btw, wat clutch are u using? Edited by Sky, Jun 21 2011, 12:01 PM.

did the organiser take any action on the 4G92 in 1.5 class?? anyway Izzat you were damn fast... cannot even catch up on long stretch after the race starts... reached the sharp corners my tyres already cannot handle as well as yours..

the only thing i'm proud with is my machine-gunned brakes.... muahaha no brake fade at all.... also altho my car seems to be rolling quite much at corners.... but it is proven that IMP Comfort shocks can perform quite good and stable in the track with the combination of bars... |

they should have check all car's engine during the registration stage... a very big mistake... In other similar races somewhere else, winner's are required to prove that their engine displacement is in the same class... either by filling water or open cylinder head. This one not even open up the hood and see...

if the organizer pays for it then ok la... anyhow this is just a small event, but however simple things like checking engine and roadtax also cannot fulfill means its really bad! |
