Actually Monty left in Dec 1986 her last shows which was the very conclusion of the Mr.B played out in Jan.. |

DOOL has always had more of a diehard 80s fans than any other soap. I think it was due to its supercouple mantra. Don't get me wrong, other shows had their supercouples, but no other show had as many or focused on them as much as DOOL. IMO Other shows had other things going for them like story and character as well, where as DOOL's main priority was the supercouple, which generated the more diehard fans that vote in those kind of magazine polls and are now apart of the internet fandom etc. |

Sonny and Brenda were really different from the typical 80's supercouple on any of the shows, which is probably why they were such a hit. It was something different. |

DAYS had a lot of the younger demo, but the overrall ratings were rather average, and DAYS always did real poor come Emmy and critics time. |

Anybody knows what this is all about?I told Ian that I want him either on Y&R or B&B, I don't resonate with the character he is on GH. |
