How nice of Holly to want to take care of a child when she'd soon be throwing her child away at birth :td
Anna described Holly to a T Porcelain figurine lady who likes Porcelain children. Judging from that townhouse and the way it was constructed and furnished it wasn't people proof let alone child proof.
Anna sure dressed Robin like a porcelin doll... LOL

and the OP was right, imo, guzaHolly was the best thing that ever happened(GH-wise) for you.
Nah hat buying doing nothing but having lunch or tea with Celia, that being the highlight of her day, wimpy whiney poor me running home to Nanny, sitting a month on a train without a hair out of place on porcelain lady, that was best thing that happened (GH-wise) for me. And it's ALL MONTY!
Monty's Holly was fierce- who turned to the good side, stood up to her family and turned herself in and had her day in court- never allowing anyone to take the blame for the thngs she did. Yes, she bought a few hats and after lost her job at the hospital- she assumed the duties of the Commissioner's wife(as Anna did later) and managed the spa- while still helping to solve crimes and get equality for women in the police dept.

Yes, in mid-1985 she felt betrayed and went to her Nanny(equilivent to her mom) for advice and to go away and think. Not really sure how being kidnapped is so bad...she had a couple of escape attempts and she manage did make a phone call- despite being chained up and she got out of that train without help. Then she signaled for help and Robert found her and they were reunited!

I don't see how Holly was fierce. She was a doormat.

That is your opinion, I don't agree. Doormats get walked all over- Holly didn't.

Robert laughed at her face about the idea of her being a detective and solving this case. Obviously he didn't think much of her either.
That scenes plays out like a scene from I Love Lucy from the 50's where Ricky didn't want her doing anything.
