HE was also alway's worried about his lady getting involved with cases
Yeah GH was very unoriginal that way. It's always the same issues with all their couples going back to L&L and probably even before that.
Frisco was protective of Felicia but as far as 80s males go I'd say he was probably the most progressive one of that 80s group. Come to think of it, it was Felicia that always went overboard trying to keep Frisco out of danger which was never gonna happen and she really should've just accepted that's one of the things she found attractive about him from go. But that's fine, I'll accept that kind of angst over romantic rival angst any day. That kind of stuff will always get recycled though. They were doing it with Dante and Lulu also. It's just the couple dynamics and storylines that change. I guess that's why S&B appealed to me more, because their angst was different from all the other couples. All the 80's couples had the same angst.

Robert did treat Holly in a very paternal, patronizing manor.
Yea, right. Use that speech on how you felt Anna was treated..But as for Holly? She was treated like a queen..Robert treated Holly like a woman he was truly in love with.
Nah, he treated Holly like she was a doormat he could control. Then he sucked at it because he never could control her or what she did.

Different strokes, I guess. I couldn't get into to them because I never liked Sonny, not even before he started to eat the show. I liked my more romantic leading men in the Robert/Frisco mold - ethically sound but flawed in other ways, and devoted to their women. I don't believe either ever strayed, rare in the soap world.

Thank you
If the person doing gifs is still around, would you consider doing another? Here's Felicia trying to get Frisco to let her "help" on a case by distracting the hell out of the poor man! Would love a gif of him snacking on her arm: https://youtu.be/o-TMWkSZnys?t=1m15s
Yup Yup. No Problem
Do they script that kind of thing? You get your script and it says suck on her arm while she's talking?

Sonny and Brenda were good for the time. I liked them, but never the same as other 80s couples. The angst was different for them in some ways. You had the third party of Jax, like Luke had Scotty with Laura and the "on the run" stuff was the same, but different. I stopped liking S&B when it lasted too long and they were on and off again too many times.

Nah, he treated Holly like she was a doormat he could control. I never saw it that way and looking back as I re watched classic R&H clips? Still don't see it that way. I loved Holly and Robert just fine and wouldn't had change a thing about her or him back then.
I just wished they had more time together because it wasn't nearly enough. Oh, If I could've change something? I would've made Holly a lawyer and that's it.

I can't take Sonny declaring his love for any woman seriously when he's done it so many times

Nah, he treated Holly like she was a doormat he could control.
Then he sucked at it because he never could control her or what she did. He tried to controlled her staying out of his police work and that never really work, unless it was something really deadly like dealing with Grant Putnam, otherwise they end up working together because he loved bouncing thing off of her and he loved talking to her.

Oh and he didn't let her do spy work because she didn't have clearance. Even he needed clearance to do that. Connie would over to his house and and used his computer and even he had to leave the room.
