Quoting limited to 4 levels deep
He wasn't the type anyway. He was good with her and for her.
Of course he was he wanted to tell her what she could and couldn't do. Holly didn't do that with Robert. I don't see how it's an equal relationship.
No horse in the race but did he only do that when it involved his police work? What other areas of Robert/Holly life did he say what she could and couldn't do?
When he goaded her into exercising routines and berated her when she didn't dress up properly after she miscarried are two examples.

yep, only his police work.
Yep, which didn't bother me because she wasn't a trained cop and could get hurt, otherwise he didn't tell her what she could or couldn't do, frisco was the same way with felicia too.
Felicia went on to joined the police academy so that she could work with his man.
Maybe holly would of too but ES left, Either way i didn't see it has them not being equal in the relantionship, he did like to get her opinion but just didn't want her getting activly involved where she may get hurt..nothing wrong with looking out for the woman you love..

Bull. Robert didn't care what Holly done. Holly could've went out and done anything she wanted but she wanted to do police work and she had to go through him to even know anything about the cases he was dealing with. Let's flip the script and used Anna and Duke in the same situation. supposedly Duke wanted to work on Anna's cases just because........ Well, he would've had to go through her to do it and he would've been feeling like a kid because she would've said no for the most part. same thing. Why is it so hard to grasp it?
Duke didn't have to ask Anna to be involved in her work because he had his own stuff going on with the mob usually. What did Holly have besides shopping?

It wasn't. GH writers never even tried to sell it like it was.

Their fans just didn't give a shit.

Notice how Robert always tried to joke or laugh it off when Holly gave her opinion about wanting to work, or do anything really?

They were equal, what made them not equal is that she wasn't an ex-agent or police commissioner & he wasn't a ex-con other wise they were equal in love and respect for each other..

Well, Holly wasn't no different than the other women in his life. Most of the women Robert dated wanted to smother him and be up under him 24/7. Shuck their own career to do his job. Jackie Templeton started off promising as reporter but soon became smothering. Katherine Delafield worldly concert pianist wanted to give up her career and be up under him 24/7 too. Mine you? Robert didn't want any of it.

Same here, never cared about J&Kwagner real life one bit. furthermore, I always thought FnF were cute but weren't my fav of GH pairs.
There's enough that did care though, and even if it's just curiosity I'll bet they'll be tuning in which really is the point ultimately.
Most FnFers have aged passed the point that advertisers care about.

Sounds like the show runner was a GH fan and just wanted to see KW and JW on the same show. This isn't some big marketing blitz and they aren't going to revolve the show around Jack and Kristina in some onscreen romance. Expectations should be kept realistic and in check IMO.
I saw the video going around and it wasn't the show runner, it was the network president that asked JW what he thought about bringing Felicia on the show. There's a radio interview going around where he says Hallmark pitched them a storyline they thought was just fantastic. I like FnF but I don't love FnF. But I'm happy for their fans, that has to feel good after how dissed they felt by GH showrunners.

Never wanted Holly to be a cop or spy because she was only interested in any of the cop stuff because of Robert. The closest to the law I wanted Holly was as a lawyer but otherwise I saw Holly more like Jennifer Hart/ Sally Mc Garrett.

Nope, what I did notice was how he complimented her as being smart, being a smart detective, how he said numerous time how much he loved talking to her.
