I don't know why this is such a shocker to people. Actors lose their chemistry ALL THE TIME. Some of the hottest couples from the 80s just didn't have it when they tried them again later. In fact I'll go as far as saying old school couples who still generate as much heat are the exception, not the rule. Chemistry is fickle; it can be swayed by writing, whereever the actors were in their lives at any give time, where their characters are now, how they connect offscreen, whatever. This ain't anything new or weird. |

I think writing plays a bigger part than many people want to admit. Darnell and Debbi had the best modern era supercouple writing ANY supercouple, on any soap, ever got. AMC writers did them very good. As a result their chem was as good, if not better, than ever. R&A got really good material on NS2. L&L got amazing material in the 90s and in 2006. D&A. R&H. S&B. F&F. None of these couples got great writing, or strong story support, in a very longtime. |

Definitely!! That's my wish.....The more they see Emma Samms name, the more they'd be inclined to get her because they'd know a huge fanbase (R&Hers) would tuned in to see Tristan and Emma together..So share and get as many R&H posters you know that's on facebook and on twitter to help & share. tia |

Off the top of my head I can think of several actors who, even playing the same characters, just lost their spark later on. Robert and Holly Max and Gabrielle (OLTL) Duke and Anna Viki and Clint (OLTL) Erica and Mike (AMC) Patch and Kayla (DAYS) Edmund and Maria (AMC) Brenda and Sonny |

What do you define as a "huge" fanbase? |

Robert and Anna had me in tears on NS2. They were so beautiful and compelling. I can honestly say that's when I became a fan. |

Thats exactly how I felt. The last couple of episodes of GFs last return, BAM... there was that L&L chemistry. Thats how I felt with R/A during the Robin rescue as well as R/H for those very few scenes in 2012. No chemistry, than Im not on board. Thats how I see D/A. IMO, there is nothing there but scene partner interaction in all of their scenes the last 2 years. |
