No one says you have to agree with MY opinion. But I think we did see a different side to Anna and Duke gave Anna something no man had given her- acceptance for who she was. She didn't need to feel guilty about her past with Duke. She told him about what she did and he still loved her and accepted her. In the start of 1985, Anna was all weepy and weak. imo, that's not vulnerable it's pathetic. with Duke, Anna was able to open her heart without fear of rejection or residual guilt.
Duke accepted Anna for who she was? Are you kidding? All his actions back then and now are total demonstrations of a complete lack of respect of who she was and what she was trying to become. Anna was trying to change her life, from being a traitor and a fence to a law-abiding citizen, a police chief and a good mother who kept her child safe. He was the roadblock to all of that. Instead of elevating her and trying to make both of them better, he not only did he cheated on her, she loses her job because of him, and he put her child was in danger and they were all going to go to the WPP because of him. Duke weakened her, and continues to do that. Instead of making good decisions then and now, he choses his own motivations and obsessions over her.
I diagree with you. Duke left the mob for Anna and when he rejoined it- it was to save Anna. It was a sacrifice because he didn't want to do it, but he did it to save Anna. Anna was trying to change her life, but so was Duke. Anna needed someone who accepted her flaws, bcause Duke also had flaws. Neither were perfect and they knew that. Together, they were trying to be better people. Anna lost her job because of her own choices. and she often put Robin in danger because of her choices and IF she went into WPP, that also would have been her choice. Someone else doesn't make you weak or make choices for you. If Anna was as weak as you say- it was because of herself and no one did that to her. RIGHT ON!

She has always looked great. She was on OLTL for years. And in the movie "Liar's Moon".
I saw her first on now defunct soap Capital but I really start digging her as Olivia Jerome. She was totally bad ass...And hated that they made her some psycho..She should've been Robert real love interest.
They totally should have brought back Tonja to play Olivia. Instead, we get a watered down Julian and this unforgettable Olivia played by LLC. (I do like LLC on twitter though and love that she's a GH fan). She just doesn't play a memorable character and can't for the life of me figure out why she's still on this show! I don't see what Olivia Jeromone has to do with Olivia Falconeri. What a weird complaint. If anything Olivia isn't needed because of new Jerome Ava (who I think is honestly a more effective character).
I don't have a problem with Olivia because soaps have always been filled with Olivias. Every character isn't, and shouldn't be, larger than life. Soaps need stable, "nice" townspeople like Olivia F, Brian, Claudia, Amy, Rose Kelly, etc. Did you ever say oh why did we lose Laura, but have to keep Rose?

weird thing is in one of the mags tonja said she facebooked RC about coming back to GH and he said Olivia was dead.
YEP..He would just write her like heather anyway with her obsession with Duke..LOL You mean Sonny? Julian came back being zero focused on Sonny, so I'm sure Olivia Jerome would've been the same way zeroing on Sonny.

I think only hard core Tony lovers liked Luke & Anna. Most people couldn't stand them together.
You took a national pool? I think you should probably stick to commenting on the show, not fans. Because I am a hardcore Anna fan, have been long before I knew who Luke even was. And I liked them together a lot. They made sense to me and the actors had chemistry.
And as an AnnaFF, I thought it was disgusting for multiple reasons. Luke being number 1. Less than a year before he admitted frequenting brothels, proudly. He was a drunk who up until then had very little remorse for killing his own grandchild. He was a thief and a swindler and was proud of it. IMO, the RealAnna would have never given that POS the time of day Not trying to be offensive, but so what? Like what does you as an AnnaFF have to do with what I, another AnnaFF, likes?

You didn't know who Luke Spencer was but knew who Anna was. Wow. That's probably a rare thing.
Luke and Laura were nowhere around when I started watching GH, but Anna was. I was around Robin's age, a little younger, and LOVED Anna. Didn't know who a Luke Spencer was when I started watching GH lol.

I'm an Anna Fan too and I liked them together. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Thank you. There's something wrong with people who can't accept such a simple principle.
Different people like different things.

Duke made her weak. He only "accepted who she was" because he was also a criminal. He chose to go back into the mob because thats all he knew. Better choice, how about working with the police to try and find her. Bad Choice #1. Sleeping with Olivia, which created the unhealthy obsession resulting in Anna almost dying and her losing her baby: Bad Choice #2 Anna lost her job (not because of her choices, but because of her affiliation with the loser who was tied to the mob) Bad Choice #3. Her going into the WPP, was not her choice. Her affiliation with the loser and what he did left her no choice. If she didn't her and her daughter would be killed to get to Duke. Bad Choice #4
All of the above, because of Duke. Did he EVER do the right thing for the right reasons?
Anna made terrible choice because she was a traitor and a fence. That had nothing to do with Duke. But this fallacy that Duke made her stronger or accepted her for who she was or is, is complete fiction
Is Duke trying to be a better person now? How is choosing Sonny over Anna being a better person?

That's why. Use the money to get more important characters. But whatever. Frank and Ron are doing to do what they want to.
