I adore Anna. She's one of my favorite characters. But yes, she gets super weak and makes bad decisions when it comes to men.
Duke. Faison. David.
End of story.

Quoting limited to 4 levels deep I think
What show were and are you watching? Duke made her weak. He only "accepted who she was" because he was also a criminal. He chose to go back into the mob because thats all he knew. Better choice, how about working with the police to try and find her. Bad Choice #1. Sleeping with Olivia, which created the unhealthy obsession resulting in Anna almost dying and her losing her baby: Bad Choice #2 Anna lost her job (not because of her choices, but because of her affiliation with the loser who was tied to the mob) Bad Choice #3. Her going into the WPP, was not her choice. Her affiliation with the loser and what he did left her no choice. If she didn't her and her daughter would be killed to get to Duke. Bad Choice #4 All of the above, because of Duke. Did he EVER do the right thing for the right reasons? Anna made terrible choice because she was a traitor and a fence. That had nothing to do with Duke. But this fallacy that Duke made her stronger or accepted her for who she was or is, is complete fiction Is Duke trying to be a better person now? How is choosing Sonny over Anna being a better person?
So, Anna is super weak person because she lets a man determine who she is. Got it. Faison convinced her to be a double agent. Duke convinced her to ruin her life and put her family in danger. Anna is a weak person.
Actually, Duke is the weak one.. See that what happened when you're involved with a weak ass, crybaby, you lose yourself. Anna spent too much time coddling that loser while he was lying through his teeth most of the time. I hated the writing for her because she was written as not being too bright or as the victim because of something Duke created.. Amen. Cant wait until he's finally gone.

You blame the writers when your fave doesn't do what you want. But you never give writers credit when they do what you want.
Duke is weak inherently, but Anna was only weak with Duke because of "the writing". OK baby.

End of story. Thats how I feel. Terrible choices for terrible losers. Although with David, I can see why... totally hot. The other 2, yikes.

Then we agree. There is no debate that both Faison and Duke weekend her and still do.
I think they're saying that a truly strong, self sufficient woman can't be weakened by a man. She must have an inherent weakness within to be as affected by other people. Exactly but Wes Kenney (despite was FH claimed) wasn't writing Anna like that. Who was the writers that had Anna wanting to join WPP with Duke rather Robin wanted to go or not?

Yeah, I got it. No doubt. But it proves the point that Duke didn't make her stronger, which always makes me laugh. There is a strength in allowing yourself to be vulnerable. I just never thought you viewed Anna as so weakminded. I never thought she was weak. Imagine that- AFF views Anna is weak. You must be right= Anna is too weak minded to have a man. She can't handle it.

Honest question.
How come 90's vets aren't discussed here?
Isn't Sonny/Brenda 90s vets? And There were a whole discussions about their puerto rico adventure and all our fan favs 80s characters are 80s/90s too. So to answered your ?? Yes, 90s vets are discussed here too.
Who are you kidding? S&B were only discussed because a topic came up about location shoots. S&B get very little talk and none of the other 90s vets like Liz, Alexis, Carly, Sonny outside of Brenda, get discussed here.
well, if those the vets you want to discussed ? Ick they bored the hell out of me. Liz/Carly no thanks. Sonny/Brenda bored the hell out of me too. tbh. lol I loved the golden era times and won't apologized for it. * SITS WITH YOU *

I think the only man Anna has ever been with that made her stronger was Robert.

Horrible what little respect Guza had for Amy. Last we saw her she was waiting at the chapel for Luke and Laura to get remarried back in 2002. He never bothered writing a goodbye Amy/Laura scene or any exit whatsoever. Only reason we even know Amy died is because RC wrote her out when they brought back the Nurse's Ball.
IA,I may not like his writing for the vets, but that was a nice touch for SK and the fans.
IA. There are things RC gets right and that was one of them. He does pay respect to the actors of GH who have passed on- including Steve Hardy. I may not like a lot of what he does, but I liked the tributes. I think Jessie Brewer was also in that Nurses Ball tribute
One of my all time favorite tributes done for any character was the Edward exit and his walk up the staircases with Lila.
Just thinking of it makes me
