I liked Jason in the 90s.

Not so much when Guza came back and made him the moral compass and superhero of Port Charles.

Holly was a mix of many females which is why she was so enticing Lucy funny/Jennifer Hart/Nora Charles nosy/Elizabeth Taylor glamorous/sophisticated/alluring .....
Oh please. Holly was enticing because she was played by a huge boobed hair model who looked like a porcelain doll. She's still gorgeous, even in middle age. That's the only reason she was enticing. It wasn't acting or the outdated, sexist writing for her, that's for sure.
She is beautiful, no doubt, but the rest of your assessment not so much. I still think she was written more like Nancy Drew amatuer detective who loved adventure and mysteries. Other people tried to protect her etc...but she wanted to help solve or solve cases and she did.
And Nancy Drew's heyday was in the 30s-50s. So that only proves my point.

I would have preferred if Holly had been written more like a Lois Lane, especially Margot Kidder's.

The show was on TV in the late 70s. and it's big again with a video game and books.

Drove me nuts when the cops would arrest him and then Diane or whoever was his lawyer at the time, would come in and make mince meat out of the cops and make them look like fools while he sits there all smug and they would have to uncuff him and he walks out and the lawyer gets one last pot shot at the cops..UGH!!!!! ;fcp

Steve Burton's epi counts are insane. Ugh. JFP.
I'm just happy he's no longer eating up GH..Like SB, but loathed Jason!!
Agre, but still we traded him for other pets. MB, LW (who I have gained new respect for, but hate the Carly) and now BM are eating up airtime. Not to mention, RoHo and MS. I think Guza and Cartini are the same levels of suck

Anyone know what the deal is with TR on YR? He hasn't been on for more than 1 episode since February, the plane crash. Are he and JW getting another story coming up soon. There seems to be no news on any front.
That's how it was last year when he was on contract, barely on. Jill is just using the contract to keep him from GH
Charles Pratt jr is the EP of Y&R now. I don't know if it's co-EP or JFP is out
I believe it was announced as Co. But the the odd thing is, I thought for certain that once CP and JFP (who both are not fans of older actors) were both running the show, TR would not get another contract. I don't understand contracting these actors and not using them

I don't either, but JFP did it a lot on GH. <shrugs>

NOP but interesting that you compare her to Nancy Drew. My favorite tv version of Nancy Drew was played by Pamela Sue Martin who ES went on to replace as Fallon on Dynasty. While ES more or less ruined Fallon for me, I thought PMS was wonderful in both roles, full of rebellious spunk and adventurous spirit. I just can't imagine ES as Nancy Drew at all and probably the PSM connection has something to do with it.

Nancy Drew was my passion growing up, read every book and sorry you're right neither ES nor Holly never came across as Nancy Drew in any way to me.

Nancy Drew is still around, but here HEYDAY was not in the 70s or later. A little research will tell you. She was made in the 30s, in the midst of the golden age of mystery literature, and began to wane down by the late 50s. She's hung around, had resurgences, but that franchise's best days are loooong behind it and were so before the 80s.
