I remember that show! It was Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys I think. Had Shaun Cassidy. I think it was a flop, right? Didn't hang around for long. |

Holly wasn't like no damn Nancy Drew. Give me a break LOL! R&H had Hart to Hart like potential, but they ruined it by making Holly a busybody housewife. |

Pamela Sue Martin vacated the role halfway through Season 2 and was replaced with a pretty blonde airhead. The Hardy Boys (Parker Stevenson, Shaun Cassidy) went on without Nancy Drew for third and final season. I liked the episodes where they worked together the best, probably because I always wanted Frank and Nancy to get together! |

Ruined it how? Holly and Robert were a cross between Hart to Hart/Nick and Nora Charles and both the women were house wives. They solved many mysteries together as a husban/wife team. BUT ITA, She never was a Nancy Drew to me, I never even got that vibe while watching them, Holly like Nora and Jennifer was only interested in the mystery/muders because it kept her/them close with their husbands and they were a team. |

^^^ And Mc Millan and Wife too...Robert and Holly were much closer to them than anything here's their plot. Jonathan & Jennifer Hart, Nick and Nora Charles, Stu & Sally McMillan and Robert and Holly Scorpio had all the same thing in common--house wives who wanted to work closely with their detective/commissioner husbands and solved cases. McMillan & Wife revolved around a 40-ish San Francisco police commissioner, Stuart McMillan (Rock Hudson) and his attractive, bright and affable 20 something wife Sally (Susan Saint James). Often, the storylines featured Mac and Sally attending fashionable parties and charity benefits before solving robberies and murders |

I think, considering the times, the were like Hart to Hart. Both were extremely popular at the same time, the early 80's. I was so hooked on both. |

While I liked Holly with Robert, romantically speaking, I much preferred the take on the character when she first arrived and was with Luke. I think if they'd kept writing her along those lines she'd have become the kind of character that Tracy, Alexis or Carly became, the kind that didn't need a man to survive on GH. I think Holly's biggest downfall is that she essentially only exists in the GH fabric largely as a love interest. Nobody's really invested in making her a strong, stand alone character at all, which has really hurt the ability to bring her back for her own sake. |

Me too. I couldn't get enough and we clearly didn't get enough of them together as the couple either, they were stretched so thin especially Robert when he was everywhere. |
