Holly wasn't like no damn Nancy Drew. Give me a break LOL!

R&H had Hart to Hart like potential, but they ruined it by making Holly a busybody housewife.
Ruined it how? Holly and Robert were a cross between Hart to Hart/Nick and Nora Charles and both the women were house wives. They solved many mysteries together as a husban/wife team.

BUT ITA, She never was a Nancy Drew to me, I never even got that vibe while watching them, Holly like Nora and Jennifer was only interested in the mystery/muders because it kept her/them close with their husbands and they were a team.
^^^

And Mc Millan and Wife too...Robert and Holly were much closer to them than anything here's their plot. Jonathan & Jennifer Hart, Nick and Nora Charles, Stu & Sally McMillan and Robert and Holly Scorpio had all the same thing in common--house wives who wanted to work closely with their detective/commissioner husbands and solved cases.

McMillan & Wife revolved around a 40-ish San Francisco police commissioner, Stuart McMillan (Rock Hudson) and his attractive, bright and affable 20 something wife Sally (Susan Saint James). Often, the storylines featured Mac and Sally attending fashionable parties and charity benefits before solving robberies and murders

Anyone know what the deal is with TR on YR? He hasn't been on for more than 1 episode since February, the plane crash. Are he and JW getting another story coming up soon. There seems to be no news on any front.
Don't know but hoping this will be the last contract and we have him back on GH for the 35th anniversary of the creation of Scorpio. Surely Sony has to stepped in at some point and stop JFP or whoever in charge of handing out contract to an actor they don't used to keep another network from getting him. Surely they have to put a stop to it.

Tristan's character is tied to Jess Walton's and they don't used her either but she isn't on contract, so it's just plan weird to have him signed to one, but the competitor of Network is ridiculous.. If Tristan was just on recurring? He could be doing both shows but JFP doesn't want him on GH and it's why he's on contract..Tristan doing both shows will defintely be win win for fans.

JFP is vindictive, she signed him to a year with most likely very low guarantees just so she could keep GH away from him.

The show was on TV in the late 70s. and it's big again with a video game and books.
I remember that show! It was Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys I think. Had Shaun Cassidy. I think it was a flop, right? Didn't hang around for long.
Pamela Sue Martin vacated the role halfway through Season 2 and was replaced with a pretty blonde airhead. The Hardy Boys (Parker Stevenson, Shaun Cassidy) went on without Nancy Drew for third and final season. I liked the episodes where they worked together the best, probably because I always wanted Frank and Nancy to get together!
I liked Joe better than Frank. I never liked Parker Stevenson.

She is beautiful, no doubt, but the rest of your assessment not so much. I still think she was written more like Nancy Drew amatuer detective who loved adventure and mysteries. Other people tried to protect her etc...but she wanted to help solve or solve cases and she did.
And Nancy Drew's heyday was in the 30s-50s. So that only proves my point.

I would have preferred if Holly had been written more like a Lois Lane, especially Margot Kidder's.
I think Jackie was suppose to be like Lois Lane. Holly was originally written as a tough character when she met Luke on the island, but the character changed cause of how Emma played it.
Jackie was Lois lane...

I think the character changed because that's what GM wanted and how she told ES to play it.

I remember watching reruns of the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew as a kid on saturdays i think. Loved Shaun Cassidy. I just looked them up and I think the whole series is on youtube in full episodes!

I think, considering the times, the were like Hart to Hart. Both were extremely popular at the same time, the early 80's. I was so hooked on both.
I never really got into Hart to Hart. I remember all the talk about Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood's death and I think it turned me off to him big time.
