Holly wasn't like no damn Nancy Drew. Give me a break LOL!

R&H had Hart to Hart like potential, but they ruined it by making Holly a busybody housewife.
Jennifer was a damsel in distress
Still enjoy her tremendously but must admit she was a true damsel in distress. I was watching an old Hart to Hart episode and Jonathan got into a fight with some man who broke into the Hart's home and this guy was getting the best of Jonathan and Jennifer and Max just stood there and didn't lift a finger to help and the guy grabbed the gun and held them all hostage, I was like WTF didn't they help? It was 3 against 1..LOL

Holly would've help Robert if he was in that situation....Jennifer was to prim and proper to get down and dirty and that wasn't Holly. She took a gun from a cop to help FnF and she even flip Burt over, so Holly wasn't above getting dirty and still looking good and being a lady.

While I liked Holly with Robert, romantically speaking, I much preferred the take on the character when she first arrived and was with Luke. I think if they'd kept writing her along those lines she'd have become the kind of character that Tracy, Alexis or Carly became, the kind that didn't need a man to survive on GH.

I think Holly's biggest downfall is that she essentially only exists in the GH fabric largely as a love interest. Nobody's really invested in making her a strong, stand alone character at all, which has really hurt the ability to bring her back for her own sake.
Who? The con artist who used her body to trap her mark and then quickly fell in love with him? Is that who you wanted to see?
Not the OP but I think that was a heck of a lot more interesting than the do nothing housewife who spent her days wanting to do police work she was unqualified for.

I found Holly shockingly old fashioned of a character on a show run by a woman, with strong, independent women like Monica, Bobbie, Lesley and hell even teenager Laura had jobs.
:c:

Ruined it how? Holly and Robert were a cross between Hart to Hart/Nick and Nora Charles and both the women were house wives. They solved many mysteries together as a husban/wife team.

BUT ITA, She never was a Nancy Drew to me, I never even got that vibe while watching them, Holly like Nora and Jennifer was only interested in the mystery/muders because it kept her/them close with their husbands and they were a team.
I think, considering the times, the were like Hart to Hart. Both were extremely popular at the same time, the early 80's. I was so hooked on both.
I never really got into Hart to Hart. I remember all the talk about Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood's death and I think it turned me off to him big time.
I never liked it either. I thought it was hokey., ditto with Mcmiillian and Wife. I thought Moonlighting was the best of the couple detective shows.

I remember Leslie Charleson in an interview complaining about how all the men got have more action than the women - except for maybe Holly. I think for the time, both Laura and Holly were pretty adventurous and that was different than it had been previously.

Anna is getting a lot of hate today in the threads for being out of touch with Robin all this time, calling her a horrible mother..RC has ruined her too.

Anna told Patrick that she can't asks Duke to give up mob and Patrick said wasn't he in the mob before when they were together and Anna said yes, but we made compromises and now she's not willing to compromise? WTF? No Duke wasn't in the mob when Anna/Duke shared their life..RC has severely fuck over DnA.
