Correct me if I'm wrong, but the argument started with a poster who specifically referenced KW, LH and KS as blink and miss, which over the course of 250 episodes a year isn't far off the mark. And yes, karma is a bitch alright, on GH that is when it gets cancelled for sucking.
GH is old as dirt. How many shows run for over a half century? Did you really think it would stay on forever? Getting cancelled when you're over 50 isn't bad karma, it's legendary. People will be celebrating whenever it goes off, not lamenting that it only lasted for longer than 50+ years.
Actually many are lamenting it now for sucking. They'll celebrate when it goes off. I won't celebrate, but it won't bother me at all.

I LOVE GH. Not just the show I loved 30 years ago, I love the show today. As much? No. But the only time I hated GH was for the 10 or so years with Frons and Guza.
And I still won't be pissed when it's cancelled. I made my peace with the fact that the soaps I grew up with would be extinct in my life time long ago. Yes years before even OLTL and AMC were cancelled. I'm just glad to have a GH I'm into and will enjoy it until the day it's pulled. No hard feelings at all about GH ending.

I'm the opposite. I'm apathetic to the show. I don't watch it but still come to the boards for some reason. LOL! I want to read what is happening to my beloved vets and see if there is a reason to tune in. There doesn't seem to be any good reason for me to tune in. This GH can be cancelled anytime and I won't miss it. What I will miss is the opportunity for GH to be good again and to see my beloved vets in a meaningful, in character, storyline.

I understand. That's exactly how I felt under the previous show runners. I am loving GH again and I sincerely hope, before it's over, you get some things you love too.

I now feel about this regime like I did for Guza and Phelps. I won't watch for scraps. Sorry, it's just the way I feel.

Not the OP but I too hated Guza/Phelps with a passion. And yet still under them there things I enjoyed.
