Seems like it. You'd think we would have heard something by now. I miss the old board, seems like there was more variety of topics discussed.

I'm all for saving Duke from a bad exit, but that's all. I say free Ian from this crappy show.

I'm not really a Duke fan but I have fond memories of 80s GH and I feel that way about all the vets I care about. I'll wait to see how it plays out, but an exit via a "dire twist" does not sound good. I just don't understand the purpose of bringing a popular character back just to destroy and piss off a fan base. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

IK. It's not like they were really using him anyway. They're using him a bit more now but they want to write him out, plus, they've written him so OOC. He's not recognizable but now we know why they've written him that way so that Ian/Duke get the boot. Hopefully, Brad Bell call him up and now he'll be able to take another offer without feeling like he must be loyal to GH...

I really hate the writing for Duke.I really thought they was headed for a Sloane/Anna/Duke/Lucy quad but now I guess Duke is being killed off.Anna will probally end up with sloane.I really miss Robert but would never want him dumbed down the way that the PCPD have been.

Duke had been dead over 20 years, his legacy and D&A's legacy was better off had they not brought him back.
Same for Frisco, gone for 18 years, only to be brought back so everyone can crap on him onscreen for a change.

But hell they'd no problem bringing bit player Julian Jerome back decades later and turning into into a romantic leading man :thehell with a built in family.
I agree. I'm glad Tristan and Emma aren't on this show. But I worry about Finola. I don't think it's a good sign they took away the Police Commissioner job from her. But I guess we'll see.

IKR. It's hard as it is watching Anna be totally dumbed down and ineffectual AS any type of Law Enforcer, HOWEVER seeing Robert be written the very same way would've been EXCRUCIATING and BLASPHEMY.

I was never a big Duke fan and dont see any current chemistry between he and Anna. With that said I really hate it when tptb bring
back legendary characters like Duke and AJ only to kill them off again when they get bored of them. Its very lazy. Ive lost count of how many times some of these characters have died.
This is it in a nutshell. RC and FV are messing with the legendary history of GH. Fine, I get you want to create your own show. Do it. However, don't be messing with GH's legacy and their great characters. It pisses me off when these producers think they can do whatever they want. Respect the history. Wendy Riche did. Frank and Ron do not.

ITA. Sometimes, you can't go home again. Thank goodness for youtube and being able to watch GH in it's "Gloria" years.

There are just WAY TOO MANY fantastic cops shows on Prime time/cable tv with both males and females in charge of top position being clever and battling clever criminals for daytime soap writers to still be writing them so stupid. The only time GH cops were ever smart is when Robert was on the force and they had the dream WSB dream team..But after Robert left that position of PCPD went downhill even with Sean in the position it went down. Sean was written as incompetent too.

Not only Gloria "years" because when I started watching GH Gloria wasn't even the executive producer anymore..I started watching GH during this very episode. I caught it when I was waiting at the doc office https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlPMEuHpIyM And it was Robert and to a certain extent Anna in that very episode, that capture my attention and made me want to keep watch it. I don't know who the executive producer was.
