All RC/FV care about is bringing on other actors from other soaps, lil kiddies romances.
That kiddie triangle is scary..these children should not be mixed up in any romantic triangle at this age :td
It's really disturbing.
It really is.I know you really can't compare the kids from the 80s and 90s but you'd rthink emma and the others had bigger problems thn some stupid kiddie triangle.I mean looking at robin lucky Emily they had real problems that had stuff to do with there parents.I also think its dumb how that spencer has the story while nik seemed to be the plot.I mean take on PC the accident with serena and her being temp blind.THe main arc was really about scott and how he had to deal with it and lucys guilt for causing the accident ect. Here I feel the opposite its like the parents don't eact to anything while the kids do whtever they want.

Me too. But remember if all these actors are only back for the 50th, it will be HEAs all the way around. But if only one stays or even if they all stay prepare for fuckery as well. I think that's the problem. Luke and Anna and Mac were the only vets on contract, as a result, we got fuckery.
But it's not just about NOT getting a happily ever after (which is understandable if one half the pair is staying on the show). There's always a way to handle it with respect for the characters and the fan base they've lured back, especially during an anniversary year in which you'd presumably be honoring and celebrating the show.
I thought it was awful that Robert and Holly weren't even at the 50th.
That to me was horrible. They were a huge part of GH history, especially Robert. So honestly, I am not at all upset about Duke. He can be brought back, IB is recurring like all other vets were/are including TR and ES. Honestly IB was lucky to have had a steady gig for 2 years.

From my POV it's not so much about Ian being let go (he'll get other jobs), as it is concern for the character's exit which comes at a time when Duke hasn't been painted in the best light.

NTOP But that's why viewers especially Duke or DnA fans should've been complaining when all the OOC stuff for Duke started. Those groups shouldn't been tweet thanking RC for all the ooc stuff he was given him to do onscreen. Now RC is gonna write him to the point that no one but those groups will only care if he die. Lesson learn sucking up and kissing one ass get you nothing.

Were they doing that? I didn't realize. But yeah, if I were a Duke fan, the last thing I would've been doing was thanking RC. But as it's been said on this board plenty of times, some fans are just happy to see their faves onscreen that they'll accept whatever scraps they're given. I still feel bad for them though.

And that was a travesty and totally disrespectful and in the same classic thread on the other board. I bitched and they said the whole year is the 50th and I thought that was hog wash..who got the torch when Tony/Genie left? Who was the leading for the 80s and early Tristan Rogers and he & Emma Samms should've been part of that celebration. Now everybody freaking out over the Ian but they were cool with Tristan and Em being excluded from the 50th..Rest assured, I bet Days have all their popular actors at their 50th celebration.

Well that's just it.. Nobody knows what this exit story is. A dire plot twist might be, this has not been Duke all along and maybe then they can redo his discovery and Anna and Dukes reunion. However, with the vitriol and I mean vitriol that's been tweeted to RC, FV and NV, since Friday, I wouldnt hold my breath. I still think this turns out not to be Duke and I have thought that almost since the beginning.

I'm not concerned about it either..Ian got two years, more than most. I know he'll fine something better.

Yes, they were doing that. I'm a ex DnA fan because I hated the writing for him from the 1st day he betrayed Anna with that text to Sonny and he got worse and worse. They were blaming Anna because of Faison and stuff when it had nothing to do with Duke being a Sonny's puppet. Duke was the problem not Anna.
