Do other people feel a certain ownership of certain thing for their couple?

For me?

I hate hearing about Beecher Corner if it's not regarding Luke/Laura...That was their special town, now RC got everbody mention it like it's free for the world.

I think it's a nice nod to the history of the show. I don't really take it as a bad thing.

Only thing that bothers me is when one couple uses a song that's really associated with another. Like if Jasam danced to Fascination.
growl: growl: thank goodness i missed that!., ITA to me that's L&L's song.
:oops misread thought you meant Jasam did dance to it., but yeah that would bother me.

A real touching Robert & Anna moment. This is who she needs when she's feeling down

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bELSObC1DA8
So Anna is too weepy, unless its Robert around to comfort her. Then it's okay.

Nowadays? :lolz

They were always loser central.
Just like soap boards, huh? So easy to stereotype and be judgmental about groups of people you've never even met. They're embarrassing due to low turnouts, not because of physical attributes of the attendees.
I didn't say they were embarrassing because of the physical attributes of the people. What the fresh hell are you talking about? :eek

And yeah I do think the same thing about the boards. I am so embarrassed to post here NOBODY in my real life knows I do not even my husband!
So Fan Events are embarrassing because they represent a part of you that you are ashamed of and repress? It's okay to let it go. Other people don't really care that much.

What are you talking about? You got all that from that scene? And beside Anna isn't even weeping in that scene she's sharing something personal with her buddy with whom she can trust and he's the guy that always try to pick her up and lift her spirit.

Read up at the original post, it was started to be insulting and adding terms like "loser central" just perpetuates it.

Why on earth do you come to the boards if it embarrasses you? Voluntarily embarrassing yourself by associating with "losers" is a head scratcher.
I'm the OP.

Let me guess, you're one of those typical overweight, unfortunate looking hausfraus who use to go to these daytime conventions? Struck a nerve with you did I?
Not really. I just don't get mean people. Especially mean people operating under a cloak of anonymity.

And here's a scene of Anna showing Robert the same courtesy. They had each other backs They were friends first above all. Depended on each other regardless if they were romantically involved. Loved them

I don't see anything wrong with people finding fan events embarrassing. I'm a fan of a couple scifi and fantasy series and I hate stuff like comicon. I have never been to any fan events or actor events and I can't see why I would go.
