I had to search GH transcript of what Robert said about Frisco (couldn't find a clip of it) because I just couldn't handle hearing Robert's bashed Frisco, I mean come on, Frisco was his boy, I didn't like it one bit, however, it wasn't what I was told it was. I was also upset when they didn't have Frisco even acknowledged Robert. But I chalk it up to writers not knowing characters relationship well enough..Frick and Frack will always be my favorite duo.
I took it as trying to change the dynamics of Robert and Frisco friendship also Duke and Frisco's so they could be team Mac.
I don't think it was that serious. I took it as them showing that Robert was loyal to his kid brother Mac. Because again writer not knowing the Frisco/Robert connection but they knew that siblings would naturally be loyal to each other. It's all about the script writer if they don't know the history? We are gonna get scenes that just doesn't and with actors having to stick with scripts? We're screwed.

Oh get over it, Frisco left his wife and baby daughter to go back into the WSB. They should killed him off when he left instead and had Felicia greave him instead. The way he left he was choosing adventure over his own family. Felicia then leaving her kids with Mac was stupid as well. At least when Robert and Anna left, Anna was kidnapped by Faison and then both were presumed dead in that boat explosion.
NOP, but hell no, I won't get over it. Details are important. Years of character development by way of onscreen images are indelible in a way that offscreen characterization will never be.

Indelible. That's why characters who banked years of rich onscreen history and highlight reel material like Frisco, Robert, Holly, Anna, Laura, Felicia, yes even Luke (though his deposits are running low), etc. will ALWAYS be popular and defended.

Sorry but i would of liked to see Robert more neutral like Anna, his silly comment about did frisco crash the wedding? IDK it all came across so anti - Frisco to prop that dud Mac

How about the awkward talk between Anna and Frisco? They both talked as if they never stayed around in Port Chuck and done domestic and not still had all their adventure. The Anna/Frisco reunion didn't feel right at all, it felt like they were more acquaintances instead of being super close.

I didn't see it like that she didn't take any side IIRC. and just let Felicia talk about her confusion.

But that Dud is his brother, plus that dud took care their kid. why do some find it so hard to believe that both Robert/Anna wouldn't be on Mac's side? We weren't dealing with the same writers these relationships in the 80s and 90s.

Nope Anna was all for it and said Mac was the right choice for her. Anna even said they were so perfect for each other and how would she even know that? When she wasn't even around when Mac and Felicia got married before.

That's true but it was all OTT with the Mac love.I don't think there was one day that Frisco was back that we didn't here what a deadbeat he was and mac was so wonderful .. that kind of writing just turns me off and even after frisco left the insults kept on coming
