Hello~ Kaede here, Reviewing one of my Favorite games, Mirror's Edge, for the Xbox 360. Lets begin! Mirror's Edge is a game where you, the player are a woman named Faith. Your a runner, basically a courier who delivers items across the city. In the Game, you end up getting framed for murder. And the cops are after you. So you have two choices, Run or fight. Or Both. Gameplay 9.5/10 Yes, thats a 9.5. The Gameplay is amazing. Fluid acrobatics from a First-Person perspective as you run about the city, Taking out the cops and stealing their guns, only to blast their allies down a second later. Its great fun, and actually quite difficult at times. On the normal and easy difficulties you have the 'Runner's Vision' To guide you where to go, but on Hard, you don't. Story 7/10 The story isn't amazing, but its still there, and its solid. I really liked it, but I'm not going to be biased and say its the best ever because, truth be told, Its not. Graphics 10/10 Mirror's Edge REALLY shines here in its marvelous, yet simple graphics, Its Beautiful and modern, while still being simple and sleek. Replay Value 7.5/10 The Replay value of this game is high if you want an extra challenge, playing on the hard mode for example, Removes 'Runner's Vision' A Visual guide of where to go. Though you can still press the B button to see the general area you need to get to in all difficulties. There are also the time trials, which are quite challenging. I honestly haven gotten passed "2 stars" Except once. Talk about Hard! Difficulty 8/10 The Difficulty of this game suprised me, its very hard in the beginning, but eases up once you get used to it. Its Kill or be killed, Or Avoid and just dont get shot, or fall off a building, or miss a jump. Either way, Its Hard, But not too hard. Overall 43/50 No Game can be perfect, But they can be great. And This one is, I highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a challenge, or just something new to try, Leave your comments below, and have a nice day. Yours Truly, ~Kaede~ |
