DUE TO FAGGOTRY, WE'VE DECIDED TO PERMANENTLY CUT TIES WITH /a/. ONLY THE THREADS ARCHIVED HERE ARE MADE BY US (and we don't intend on making any more).
.

-Most Recent Official Thread-
http://boards.4chan.org/a/res/46446299 (404'd)

The original post of a new thread should contain, in order of importance:
--A link to the previous thread(s)
For easier navigation between threads, useful at the beginning of the new one
--A mention of the IRC channel #Adoratroll @ irc.rizon.net
Because IRC channels provide a faster medium of communication than forums and a less-likely-to-devolve-into-a-shitstorm medium than imageboards
--A link to the forum
Because people are bound to ask for it anyway
--"(Y'all Baka Gaijins Postin' In a) Tororu-sama Thread" (or some other relevant joke if you can) in the subject line (Edit: Due to Madoka General threads being utter shit and making unnecessary jokes, we may just want to stick with simply "Troll-tan/Troll-sama series development thread")
So that haters (do we even have haters?) can filter us
--A Tororu-related image
Preferably the one of Tsuriko trollposting. It's very hard to miss that.
--A short explanation of Troll-sama
It makes things a lot easier when we explain what it is beforehand (Maybe we could make a "Things you should know" thread, lock&sticky it, and link to it in each /a/ thread to simplify things?)
--Final task
Return to the previous thread and link to the new one to prevent excess threads from being created. Or even better: warn people in the previous thread beforehand so that thay don't create one themselves.

Admins feel free to just edit things into the first post. For everyone else, just post here and I'll update it asap.
If someone has links to the previous threads or is willing to dredge them up, I would be much obliged.

Thanks for the help in digging those up.
Also I feel bad for missing thread 5
But that just lends credit to the need for a place where everybody can easily find the thread, I think, right?

r-right?

Is everyone okay with me making an interest thread every night or every other night? Or should I keep it less frequent?

If we've got stuff to post, make one. Basically, if any of our drawfags produce something and put it here, it's a good excuse to start a thread with it.

We should probably only make threads once a week from now on. Maybe, if the first one hits bump limit and there's still momentum, we'll follow it up with another thread, but it'd be an awful idea to end up being labelled as "those faggots who keep spamming threads about something that isn't anime".

(EDIT: WELL, THAT CERTAINLY WORKED OUT)

Just a note:

Threads that are only tangentially related to the board like ours will only be sustainably and consistently successful if everyone clearly lays out the idea that "This is a quiet thread for anyone and everyone who's still interested in or hasn't seen this silly but amusing stuff yet."
There will inevitably be trolls, but if even a single person blows up back with "WELL NO, FUCK YOU TOO," then that's when things go to shit and mods get pissed.

It's always been like that, even way back when things like Blindmute Loli and Nurse-kun were still gracing /b/ with their presence or when things like Red's childhood stories and Zange's confession threads were still thriving on /a/.

Ideally the best solution would be that everyone ignores the trolls outright, but I realize that that's probably asking too much from /a/ at this point.

Man, I remember blindmute loli... I wasn't on /a/ back then though. You'll have to tell me some stories some time.

Once a week seems fair, but we could always do it a bit more frequently if things start getting stale and unproductive here. I dunno who it was that started yelling back at the trolls instead of ignoring them, but that's something we have to avoid from now on.

Anyway, to liven things up around here I sketched a character sheet design I plan on working on in more detail later tonight.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't actually anyone related to us. I think it was just trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls... there were so many trolls in that thread that were hard to place on either side of the for/against line it seems. I was rather lost.

Edited the threader template. We should totally pick which day we'll be posting the threads. My vote is for Fridays or Saturdays.

We should probably designate one day as "No working on this project" day, or we'll focus too hard and make dumb ideas. Gotta have breather time in creative endeavors.

Eh, I think that's dumb unnecessary. I don't think anyone here is that entrenched in the project that they would eschew cognitive ability for writing out one more plot.

You can already tell how much we've slowed down. The only way I see us actually needing this is if our drawfags starting pumping out 4komas like poorly delivered punchlines are going out of style.

Yeah, the past couple days have been rather slow. I'd say it's time we get back on the ball. That is, if there is something productive we can do. We can always work on setting and flushing out the school.

I should finally get my tablet fixed today... might help. I have a good idea for the character sheets that I'd like to work up.

I hope it picks up before I have to go to bed. Bad timing, but once again I have to go to bed at 10.

Alternatively, fuck it. I only work for 5 hours tomorrow.

Well, the thread garnered a single post with a lineart of Tsuriko. Besides that, we got no new interest and just a bunch of trolls. We should probably hold off on threads until we get some stuff done.

If it was one of us, they were trollin'. Nobody here would pay $5,000 for something we could learn to do ourselves in like a month.

Seemed tempting, to have someone animate Troll-tan into a show, but yeah, none of us have $5k to spend on it, and who the hell were they anyway?

That's $208.33 a minute. You could have a team of professional animators for that price anyway.
An animated show is a cool concept, but not for that price... especially since we could do it ourselves later.

Quick question: What needs to be done before we can make another thread over at /a/?

I think we need to stir up some more enthusiasm within our target audience. I'm not sure about the IRC but the forum is going silent for days at a time and that worries me.
