Had to buy a team to win? You realise thats what the top 5 EPL teams have done forever? They have more money than the other clubs so they get to buy better players |

Nope, Arsenal buys like 1-2 players a season, same with Man U (I think). What I'm saying is Man City pretty much bought their whole lineup in one transfer period. Props to city for scoring 2 in 3 minutes though like wtf |

Mancester United buys most of their top players the difference between the two Manchesters is that United buys players when they start showing talent and then develops them further and then they either pay them a lot to keep them at the club or sell them for way more than they bought them for. City bought pretty much their whole starting line-up and the majority of their bench once the players were pretty much at their peaks with the shitload of money the new owners have. Chelsea does have a rich owner and they buy big players for huge transfer fees sometimes but most of their line-up are players who have been there for a long time and the players they have bought recently aside from Torres are young players who they plan on developing to contest for the title in the future and arsenal barely buys anymore, they got fucked this season by other top clubs buying the players they had developed. Basically everyone hates City because they just splash cash on players and bring them together and hope for them to click, it's just a quick fix and they haven't developed players or put in the hard work that other clubs have done to get to where they are now. Lol huge text post. Edited by Elpizo, May 15 2012, 01:23 AM.

Bitch, please!

manu is going to spend 120 million euro this summer... i dont think they spend those millions in hotdogs. So far Kagawa (~23.000.000 €) and Bebe (~5.000.000 €). Some newspaper talked about ManU being interested in Pique. If your team has an average age of 29 years you should start thinking about renewing the core of it. ManCity did that this season and ManU is going to do it the next one also arsenal spent 2011/2012 64.725.000 € for new players ;D |
