There is no way in hell they get jefferson or millsap for those bums, I would be amazed if that happened.

And ya warriors are looking like potential contenders we dont even have a healthy bogut back. Sky is the limit steph curry and david lee should be all stars this year no question, harrison barnes gets better every game and we have crazy good depth, jarret jack carl landry both are deserving of 6th man of the year awards

Well if Jefferson or Millsap get traded, it won't be because they aren't good players, it will happen so that Enes Kanter(who shined in the pre season) can evolve into the type of player he can be, or so Derrick Favors can evolve into the type of player he can be. I'd be willing to bet anything that either Millsap or Jefferson gets traded this season, but maybe not to the Raps cause I suspect the Jazz going for a guard. Tyreke Evans maybe ?

Steph Curry and David Lee deserve to be allstars, but I bet they won't. One or both will be overlooked. David Lee should start, but Blake will. It's gonna be Chris Paul, Kobe, Durant, Blake, Dwight. For sure.

Jarrett Jack is playing crazy great, but don't forget about Klay Thompson. At least a candidate for most improved player of the year.

With that said, the Warriors won't be a contender until they get a good offensive presence in the post. Imagine if they had a guy who drew double teams, and he kicked it out to Curry or Klay ? Damn

Offensive presence in the post? I know you probably havent watched david lee since the knicks but pretty much all of lees 20 ppg are from sick post moves and mid range jumpers.. we have carl landry who is a solid poster off the bench and bogut to come back who is one of the best passing centres in the league out of the post.. we are definetely contenders.

David Lee is my favorite player, I watch him anytime there is a game in TV. David Lee can't draw double teams on a nightly basis. Every now and again he is hot, but he's no Dirk, Duncan, etc. Lee's post moves are good, but not good enough to draw a consistent double team. He's also not strong enough, like Dwight or Cousins to draw a double team. By strong I mean he doesn't have that much of a physical presence. Carl Landry certainly doesn't draw double teams, and Andrew Bogut is worse in the post than both Landry and Lee. Bogut has always been known for his defense.

Warriors are not serious title contenders, let alone Western Title contenders. Clippers, Spurs, Thunder are better.

Clippers better? we beat them in LA and in Oakland by 20. David Lee doesn't get double teamed because the warriors have too many shooters to risk it (Klay, Curry, Jarret Jack, Barnes is also a helluva shooter. Clippers tried double teaming Curry last night and he still scored 31. Everybody knows that you can't leave any of those players open or the balls is going in. I don't see how we can possibly not be title contenders when you look at the teams we've beaten without our defensive anchor and playing Biedrins and a rookie centre. Warriors will always be underrated because we've underachieved for so many years. All in all we have way too much outside shooting threat to double team a poster if Lee was on any other team he'd be getting doubled all day. I've watched every Warriors game this year so I have alot more insight than a casual warrior watcher. The only legitimate reasons why we might not be a title contender is because we have players with little to no playoff experience and we play sloppy when we get a big lead or injuries.

Oh and also, Lee is 2nd in points scored for power forwards in the league and is the only player in the league averaging 20-10 a game.

To say that Lee does t get double teamed because there are to many good shooters is wrong. Dwight got double teamed in Orlando when they were the best 3 point Shiloh team in the league. Shaq got double teamed in Orlando when they were the best. I'd say the Warriors are 5th or 4th best. OKC, Spurs, Clippers, Grizzliez/Warriors.

With the warriors style of play, uptempo and three point shooing, they simply will never win. A 3 point shooting team has never won a championship, and an uptempo team rarely ever wins. 80's Lakers is all I can think of.

Also, even when Bogut gets back, the Warriors aren't an excellent defensive team, which is also important in a championship team. Lee is an average at best post defender, and Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes are all average at best perimeter defenders. I'm giving Klay and Barnes the benefit of the doubt there. Their best perimeter defender is probably Brandon Rush unless i'm forgetting anyone.

David Lee's numbers are great, but let's not forget, he's playing more minutes than if not all, most PFs in the league. His Per 36 stats are identical to Blakes. I have a lot more insight than you cause I know basketball more gg really put challenge etc etc

Warriors have the 7th best def rating so far this season, without bogut. David Lee is averaging 20-10 a game it's not like 3 point shooting is the only offensive game we have. Almost all your points can be proven wrong with sheer stats. You cannot leave a 44% 3 pt shooter (Who started the season off shooting about 33% so that stat is skewed) and all the other offensive threats that we have. Look at the clippers for an example of this, they're a 3 pt shooting team who have griffin and a very average deandre jordan in as there posters. Griffin isn't even close to as good as Lee is and thursday nights match proves that, DLEE made him look like a bitch. You're right about lee as a defensive post but believe me when I say he is a hell of a lot better than he was last year, we have good perimiter defense something like top 5 lowest FG% against us with teams like the pacers who are elite defensively ahead of us.

Warriors have a brutal schedule coming up with heat grizz thunder clippers again in the next 11 games if we go anything above 50% I think it's proof enough we're contenders.

Grizzlies just lost putting warriors 4th in the west.

And if you're saying blake griffin is better than David Lee you watch WAY too much sportscentre

If you think you know more about basketball and imply blake griffin is better than DLee then maybe you don't know as much as you think. Lee is the best offensive PF in the league PERIOD

Like I said warriors will be overlooked because weve been shit for years and years, i'm ok with that I like falling under the radar.

Oh and also if you knew as much as you think you did you'd realise Rush tore his ACL in game 1. Curry is definetely an above average perimeter defender. Thompson is a terrible defender agreed on that barnes is average

No walls of text. I'm on an iPod damnit.

I'm not doubting or trying to discredit david lee, but his stats are as good as they are because one, he's improved like he does every year, and two he plays more than every PF. Stats don't tell everything. Like I said, his per 36 stats are identical to Blake's per 36 stats. Does that mean Blake is as good as Lee ? No way. He plays differently. Another example of stats lying is when Monta Ellis was averaging 2 steals a game. He isn't a good perimeter defender either.

Also, I don't know why you thought I was putting down the warrior's 3 shooting ability. I wasn't. They are one of the, if not the best 3 point shooting teams in the league. I was saying that a team who counts on the 3 never wins a championship. In other words, you live and die by the 3 point shot.

You say the Warriors have a bunch of offensive options. Pick and pop to David Lee, occasional post up to Lee, screen and roll for the 3 shooters, and maybe Curry isolation ? They are an uptempo team. Playing street ball In other words. The suns did this in the mid 2000's and were HUUUGELY successful. Never made it to the finals though.

The Clippers are not a 3 point shooting team. Chris Paul is the best point guard in the league, and arguably the smartest point guard in the league. He can do everything, offensively and defensively. Maybe the deepest team in the league, and solid all around defensively also. Way more offensive options than Golden State, you'd have to agree ?

I wasn't saying Blake was better than Lee. Talk about post d and post offense, he has zero. Was simply saying that if they played the same amount of minutes, they would have the same stats.

David Lee is the best offensive PF ? Really ? Kevin Love and Lamarcus Aldridge might have something to say about that.

I know rush injured himself. I'm saying on their roster, he is the best perimeter defender in the same sense that Bogut is their best post defender. Curry above average defender ? Eh, maybe. I still say average.

You saying I don't know basketball is like me saying you don't know football. If you think the Warriors are better than OKC, Clippers, SAS, Miami, and New York(well, we'll see how they do with Amare) then you should reevaluate YOUR knowledge of the game. They are not a title contender.

My wall of text was bigger than your wall of text

Clippers are not a 3 PT shooting team? Jamal Crawford, Billups, Paul, Barnes, Butler. They have the highest 3 PT shooting percentage in the league I believe. Anyways it's debatable that aldridge is better offensively than lee and love has been stinking it up lately so very debatable. Curry definetely above average defender but he struggles against quicker guards. We play good D theres a reason we're ranked in the top 7 teams for def rating WITHOUT bogut. We have no offensive output right now from our centres and with bogut coming back soon hopefully that's going to change he was a 10ppg centre for the bucks. We're top 5 in rebounds, defense and rebounds are why we're so much better than previous years its as simple as that. If you double team lee in the paint he can just dish it out hes a good passer aswell as shooter, teams have to decide who to double when they play against us and it's always curry and yet he still puts up 20+ a game.
