"HURRAY!" Abellio walked- well, ran- through the gate to the park, arms above his head and trotting about with the attitude of an overexcited five-year-old boy. Jay trotted in behind him, smiling slightly. He was excited, but not nearly as thrilled as his human partner was. Abellio ran around in a circle before plopping onto his back, arms and legs spread out as if he were about to make a snow angel in the grass. Jay walked over to him and looked down. "...Leaf?" "We're at the PARK, Jay!" Abellio was obviously excited to be here. He laid in the grass, eyes closed, basking in the warm sun. Jay looked out and around them to see who all was staring. A few were, but most didn't seem to notice. Jay sat himself down next to Abellio and began plucking grass out of the ground. He was very selective of which grass was plucked. He'd look over the ground, hand at the ready, then find the right one to pull. Then he'd inspect it and either place it tenderly with the rest or throw it behind him, unimpressed with it. This went on for a while before he had quite the handful. Then he placed the pile down and began to pull out certain blades and twist them together. Abellio sensed something and looked up. He saw, with wide eyes, a magnificent tree that just had to be climbed. In a burst of energy, he shot up from the ground and ran at the tree. Jay, wide eyed and afraid for his pile of grass, threw himself over his treasure as the boy ran off towards the tree. With a sigh of relief, he got back up and continued working on his art. Abellio was at the tree in no time at all, blasting past other, through ball games, and leaping over picnics. Once at the tree, he threw himself at the trunk and seemed to be bear-hugging it; his feet were even off of the ground and his legs were wrapped around it. He pressed his nose to the tree and smelled it. "Aaahh... Refreshing." Abellio scooted up the tree like an inchworm, still in bear-hug position, pulling up with his arms, then bring his legs up, and so on, until he reached the lowest branch, which was pretty high up. He grabbed onto it and hungr from it, releasing the trunk. "Ali-oop!" With one swing, the boy spun himself around the branch and landed on top of it, letting go of the branch and squatting on it. He was teen feet up in the air and wasn't even holding onto the tree, just kneeling. "Hey, Jay!" He said, waving to his companion. Jay looked up from his work and looked at Abellio. He smiled and waved, then went back to the grass sculpture-in-the-making. It would be one of his best. Abellio, meanwhile, grabbed on the the next branch and smung over that one, just as he had to the last, and kneeled upon that one, now fifteen feet closer to the sky. "I love the park." |

The atmosphere and semblance of the park couldn't have been more peaceful; as the sun filtered through the sprawling canopies, chattering Pidgey and Mamepato carelessly hopped from one branch to the nest, plucking ripened Pecha berries from their buds and then continuing the cycle. Nearby, a Butterfree landed precariously on the bark of a pine, gingerly inserting it's small fangs into the bark to suck away the sap. Imprudent to the fact her thin black slippers were now damp from the dew-covered beneath the shade, Hannah raised her camera, focusing on the aforementioned Butterfree. With a click, the shutter captured the bug Pokemon, much to Hannah's delight. Smiling, she busied herself with developing the picture, while the pink, serpentine Pokemon on her shoulders started to cry. Sighing, Hannah let the camera fall to her side on the strap, lifting the small Dratini in favor of rubbing her nose affectionately on it's muzzle. The baby Dratini squirmed and nuzzled Hannah back, but continued to whine, even trying to nip gingerly at Hannah's nose. With a broad smile, Hannah unwrapped the coiling Dratini from her wrist, placing it on the grass. "You're hungry, aren't you, curliecue?" Upon hearing Rose's excited squeal, Hannah dug out a bag of chopped up, sweet poffins. As soon as the bag was opened, Honey was leaning over Hannah's shoulder, sniffing furiously and groaning. Pursing her lips, Hannah pushed the Ursaring back, even when she tried to swipe the bag of sweets from her hand. "This is Rose's food, Honey. Look how much fruit is here! Go find your own, baby," Kneeling to the ground, Hannah began to hand feed the Dratini, much to Honey's dismay. Pouting for a moment, the blonde bear stood on her hind legs, her sensitive nostrils flared. Immediately, she started lumbering towards a rather tall tree, sniffing it blindly. Looking past the small lizard-like Pokemon standing at the base of the tree, the Ursaring licked the bark, tasting the sap for some odd reason or another. Then, with an excited growl, the massive Ursaring jumped onto the trunk, straddling it. For a Pokemon her size, she was rather agile when it came to climbing, especially when it meant food. Hooked claws dug into the soft bark as she pulled herself up, scaling to the nearest branch (above 12 feet up) with relative ease. The Ursaring then balanced herself on the branch, reaching out and swiping an apple from the branch, scarfing it down in one gulp. |

Abellio kneeled in the tree, looking voer the park. It was a lovely afternoon and a beautiful day indeed. For the medium-sized park, there were quite a few people here to enjoy the fantastic day. They were taking opportunity of what Mother Nature was providing. Smart choices. Abellio looked out over the people, watching them, seeign what they were doing. There were a few boys out playing soccer, several families and young couples were having picnics, a few people were out with their pokemon- Abellio could have sworn he saw a pink Dratini, but it was far away and he assumed that it was something else that must look like one from afar. Jay was at his spot, working hard on hsi scultputre. With a few twists here and a couple of ties there, it was complete. The Sugleaf held it up in the sun, as if catching it in a spotlight, for all the world to see. It was an amazing little figurine of a teddy bear, amde completely from grass blades. They were all tightly woven and intertwined with each other to create the solid shape of a teddy bear, arms and legs out as if offering a hug. Smugleaf beamed with rpide in his creation. "Smuuuug~" Jay looked around to make sure everyone was noticing his brilliance. No one was. That was a bit of a blow to Jay, but then his eyes lit up when he saw a girl with her pokemon. One of them was an Ursaring. A bear, like his sculputure. Maybe she'd like to have the grass figure. Jay got up and trotted happily over to Hannah and her pokemon, arms out and holding the precious little statue towards her. Once he was getting close to her, the Ursaring bounded towards him. The grass snake pokemon stopped cold in his tracks, frozen stiff by the sight of a massive bear charging towards him. The Ursaring just went right over him, like a car driving over someone laying in the road. Not even a strand of fur touched Jay. He stood there still, frozen, then fell over, stiff. Abellio stayed in the tree, breathing in the fresh air. He still was merely standing there, not holding on to the tree at all. And then the entire thing shook. The branch Abellio was on wobbled and he struggled to keep balance, wavering from front to back before finding euilibrium. Confused as to what had caused that, the boy looked down only to find an Ursaring climbing up the trunk of the tree. "Oh my God..." Abellio thought out quietly. Was this someone's pokemon or was it a wild Ursaring. Abellio couldn't tell. He had come in contact with several wild pokemon along his travels, and he knew that wild Ursaring were not all to friendly. If this was a wild one, the people in the park were in great danger. But what if it was a trainer's pokemon. Conflicted, Abellio thought for a brief moment. Then he felt some more movement bellow him and noticed the bear was climbing up to the branch below him. Abellio had to make a decision and concluded that if it was best to play it safe and try to imobilize the bear before it went out to atatck picnicers and park-goers. Besides, he wasn't going to hurt it, so it was best. But now it was high up in the tree. He couldn't do anything to it or it might fall out and hurt itself. Then he noticed it gobbling down an apple and got an idea. He reached over to an apple that was hanging near him and plucked it off the tree and tossed it on the ground below the tree. Then he pulled off a few more and dropped them as well, one at a time. Hopefully the bear pokemon would got back to the ground for the free and easy-to-get food. |

With a smile, Hannah poked another piece of sweet poffin in Rose’s mouth, watching as the baby Dratini happily gnawed away on the food. Catching something out of the corner of her eye, she turned, just as Honey bounded away to the nearby apple tree. She saw the Smugleaf just as it fell over, her thin brows raised. Had Honey accidentally trampled the poor thing? Frowning, she put Rose back onto her shoulders, turning in favor of looking at the poor thing. Kneeling down, she extended a hand towards the lizard-like Pokemon, "Hey there, cutie. Are you alright?" Hannah's eyes trailed to the grass figurine in the Smugleaf's grasp, her face suddenly lighting up. Plopping down next to the Smugleaf with a grin, she gestured towards the sculpture, obviously excited. Had he been coming over to show her the aforementioned sculpture, or had it just been coincidence that he was standing there? Either way, the figurine in itself intrigued Hannah. "Did you make that? It's adorable! - Honey! Come say sorry to him!" The girl suddenly yelled, spotting a tuft of Honey's blonde fur in a nearby apple tree. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Ursaring was steadily picking apples from the branches until one seemed to fall in front of her. With a curious grunt, she tilted her head. The apple was followed by another, then another - where were they coming from? Looking up, the Ursaring located the source of the falling apples, a slightly irritated look on her face. Why would he throw away perfectly good apples? Perhaps he was having trouble picking them? Casting the notion of his wastefulness aside, Honey straddled the tree trunk once, scaling up a few more feet to the branch on which Abellio stood. Wasting no time, the Ursaring swiped another apple off the branch - and offered it to the human. "Saaa," The bear chuffed affectionately, the pink bow around her neck dirtied from climbing the tree. But, upon hearing Hannah's call, Honey sat the apple gingerly on top of Abellio's head and straddled the tree once more, easily sliding down the trunk, her claws scraping and gelding the poor tree beyond repair. She lumbered towards Hannah and Jay, at which point she was promptly scolded by Hannah. "Watch where you're going sometime, Honey. You almost bowled him over. Now say you're sorry." With a chuff, Honey plopped down on the ground, extending a massive set of claws towards the Smugleaf apologetically. |

Jay laid there in the grass, still frozen in his previous postion, but now his eyes were tightly shut, afraid to open them to find a train racing towards him or something of the sort. But then he heard a soft, compassionate voice. With all the caution in his tiny body, the Smugleaf slowly opened one eye. To his releif, he found not a stampede coming at him, but a gentle-looking girl- the one he was going to give the sculpture to, in fact, extending a hand towards him. How... wonderful! Jay hopped up to his feet and nodded that he was alright, then followed Hannah's eyes as she noticed his grass teddy bear. To his ultimate delight, she loved it. With a large smile and a hint of bashfulness, Jay extended the figurine towards Hannah, nudging her with it. "Leaf." Abellio was in the tree, still tossing apples to the ground, then gauging the Ursaring's reaction. After he threw one apple, the Ursaring notcied him, giving him a nasty look. Abellio braced himself for some kind of one on one with the huge bear as it climbed up to the branch he was on. He didn't enjoy fighting pokemon, but he couldn't just stand there and get killed. However, as the Ursaring climbed up the trunk, Abellio noticed a pink ribbons around its neck. He let out a sigh of relief. Not only was this not a wild pokemon, but if it had a pink bow around its neck, it wouldn't hurt him. Great news for Abellio, there probably wasn't going to be a battle between them fifteen feet up in a tree. As it reached him, it placed an apple on his head before heading off. Abellio smiled. "Thank you!" he called after it, taking the apple off of his head. He looked at the apple and breathed on it, rubbing it against his shirt before taking a bite. "Oh, that's good." Jay was busy being happy and gleeful with Hannah when he turned to see who the girl was talking to. It was the Ursaring. Jay's eyes widened and stared up at the massive bear, once again frozen in fear. But as the pokemon stretched out her paws to him, Jay found he could move again and instnaly ran behind Hannah, poking his head out from between her knees. "Eeeeehhhh..." He whined. Abellio, meanwhile, had climbed down the tree to find Jay. He walked over to the group, half-eaten apple in hand. "There you are, Jay!" he said with a mouthful of apple muffling his voice just a little bit. Abellio noticed the others, too. He saw the Ursaring and smiled at her, gesturing towards his apple in appreciation. Then he saw Hannah and Jay under her. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said to the girl, "He's not bothering you is he? Jay, come out from under her!" Jay looked from Abellio to the Ursaring, then back to Abellio before darting out from udner Hannah and diving under Abellio, pokign his head out from between his knees now. |

"He's not bothering me at all. He's so sweet." Hannah cooed, inspecting the grass figurine with absolute delight. Conscious of the fact it could be easily squished and ruined, the girl took off her backpack, sitting it on the ground in front of her. Carefully, she slid the grass teddy into one of the hard pouches, specifically there not to squish things like that. Satisfied, she zipped the bag back up, turning in favor of facing Abellio. With a smile, she extended her hand in a friendly gesture, "I'm Hannah, and this," She paused, motioning towards the Ursaring. "is Honey. Oh, and this little baby is Rose." She finished her introductions with a smile, pointing absently to the Dratini coiled warily on her shoulders. Rather than greet the newcomers, Rose squealed and slithered onto Hannah's head, curling itself in her hair the best she could. Glancing towards the Smugleaf between the boy's knees, Hannah could only assume he was a trainer. What better place to battle a newly acquired friend than in the middle of the park? Besides, it was such a beautiful day - that, and Bonnie severely needed to be trained outside of wild Pokemon battles. "What do you say to a battle?" She suddenly suggested, cutting to the chase rather quickly. |

"Hello, Hannah," Abellio said with a slight nod and a smile. Once Hannah mentioned Rose, Abellio noticed the redish Dratini on her arm, which only slid away onto her ehad. So he did see a shiny Dratini after all. He thought his eyesight was pretty good, but he didn't believe he actually saw it when he did. Such a rare pokemon. Abellio thought to a rare pokemon he'd like to have- a Shaymin. But the odds of him capturing one, much elss finding one, were slim to none. "Wow... This is really magnificent." Abellio said, looking at the Dratini. "Such a beautiful color." As the boy was admiring the rare pokemon, he heard the request for a battle. "Oh, I- um." Abellio wasn't really a battler. He actually didn't enjoy fighting, less it be for defense of some sort. He had planned on training pokemon to battle for his travels in case any dangerous pokemon try to attack or some Umbrans show up or something, but he found that he, rather than his pokemon, was usually the one to be involved in any kind of battle with wild pokemon, rather than Jay or Buddy. So neither of his pokemon were prepared. "I'm not really a battler, actually..." he said, somewhat embarrassed to deny her offer. He felt really bad about it, but he'd jsut lose like nobody's business. Abellio glanced over at the Ursaring and grimaced, trying to not imagine a battle between that beast and the tiny grass snake pokemon cowering under him. "Besides, I have a feeling I wouldn't be much of a challenge to you, anyway..." |

"Well, aren't you sweet! Fortunately, I don't battle with Honey much anymore." With a calculated pause, the young woman reached to her belt, taking off a Pokeball. The spherical device shook once in her hands and dilated itself, at which time Hannah tossed it into the air. From the ball materialized a horse-like Pokemon, which immediately reared upon seeing people it didn't recognize. Catching the now emptied ball in her hands, Hannah used her free hand to grab Bonnie's snout, calming her down. "No," She mused, rubbing the Ponyta's soft nose. "I'm just trying to train Bonnie here for now. As much as I would love to battle with her, she doesn't seem to understand the concept. For now, I'm just trying to get her used to other people and Pokemon." Releasing Bonnie's muzzle, she flashed another smile at the boy, lips pursed anxiously as she awaited his answer. "Just a quick little battle, to boost her confidence up." |

"Um... well..." Abellio was on the fence about this. He didn't particularly like battling, but that was because his pokemon were weak and he was afraid theymight get hurt. But if he battled with them, they'd get battling experience and get stronger. Then he wouldn't have to worry about battling, because they'd be strong enough to stand her ground. And she said she wasn't using the Ursaring, so that was a plus. But what if they got hurt? But what if they didn't? What if they won? No, no that wouldn't happen. As much as he loved them both, Buddy and Jay were not fighters. They'd lose for sure. Abellio watched as the Ponyta appeared. "Oh, what great fire." abellio said in response to seeing the pokemon. Well, the Ponyta was new to the concept of battling as well. He supposed that made things fair. And if they did lose, it would boost the Ponyta's confidence. That was a good way to think about it. There were no losers, just those helping others' confidence. Great. Abellio was beginning to sway. "Well..." Abellio thought, "I suppose a friendly battle couldn't hurt... Alright!" Abellio said with newfound excitment. "I think we can handle a quick little battle, huh, Jay?" The Smugleaf looked from Abellio to the Ponyta, then shook his head at his partner. "Oh, you're right, Jay. You wouldn't do too well against a fire-type, would you?" Jay took a few steps back and sat down, nose in the air. "Well, I guess that just leaves Buddy." Abellio grabbed a poke ball out from his travel pack and tossed it out. In a flash, the otter-like pokemon appeared and instantly fell on his back, relaxing. "Buizel~" "Hey, Buddy, it's time for a battle!" |

“Uh oh, a Buizel. Don’t worry, Bonnie, we’ll just have to get creative.” The Ponyta snorted, stomping the dirt once more in an irritated fashion as she eyed the Water Pokemon. Much to Hannah’s surprise (and relief), Bonnie seemed to be realizing that this was a battle. The flames on her mane and tail intensified, heating the air around her and even prompting the grass beneath her hooves to smoke and smolder. A broad smile tugged at the corners of Hannah’s mouth, a sudden look of determination crossing her otherwise soft face. “Hit it with Double-Edge, Bonnie!” With a loud cry, the horse reared forward and took off like a bullet, diamond hard hooves pounding the dirt. As she neared the Buizel, a reddish aura emanating from the flames on her mane, engulfing her body. She went all out, intent on ramming Buddy full speed and force with her strong withers to try and plow him into the ground. Still, as powerful as the attack had been, it was a risky gesture. What if she missed? That would mean she would be the one sustaining damage. But, still. Without the use of fire attacks, they were limited to physical ones. Hannah's intentions were to start out strong, and KO the Buizel as quickly as she could - there was no way Bonnie could withstand a prolonged battle with a Water pokemon. Inwardly, Hannah knew the moment Bonnie realized the Buizel was a water type, she would freak out and ultimately lose the battle. But, it couldn't hurt to try, could it? |

Abellio watched the fire horse charge at his Buizel. He had to restrain himself from his natural impulse to run at the Ponyta and protect his pokemon, needing to remind himself that this was a battle and it was up to his Buizel to defend himself. But he needed a command, and fast. The charge and speed of the Ponyta, in addtion with the red around it, worried Abellio. This attack was powerful. But at that speed and with that much strength, the fire-type couldn't turn as quickly as Buddy, even if it weren't charging. Abellio would have to use not only Buizel's type to his advantage, but mostly his agile and easily manuverable body. "Buddy, go through the legs!" Abellio found himself yelling. The Buizel faced the Ponyta and looked at it as it came at him. He branced himself, them through himself between the legs of the horse. "Oh God, he did it. Uh, quick, Buddy, use Water Gun at its feet!" "Buuuiiiii!" The Buizel grabbed onto the underbelly of the horse and turned his face around enough to aim at the right two hooves of the Ponyta, firing a Water Gun at them, then turning to the left hooves and firing a Water Gun at those, then back to the right, and so on. The Ponyta can't ram something under it, Abellio thought. Good, good, this going well. he tried to tell himself. |

"Stop, Bonnie!" Hannah cried, realizing that she wasn't going to make contact with the Buizel. With a rasping neigh, Bonnie dug her hooves into the ground, skidding to an awkward halt, just as Buddy darted between her legs. Hannah raised a brow, watching the lithe otter Pokemon easily dodge Bonnie's attempts to lower her head and nip at the creature under her. Then, the inevitable. As soon as the Water Gun hit her hooves, they started to sizzle and steam like a hot pan being introduced to water. Immediately, Ponyta squealed, bucking her back legs and lifting each foot as it was squirted. The sight almost looked comical, but Hannah knew that Bonnie would ultimately trash and tire herself out. "Jump in the air and stomp him!" Hannah commanded, thinking quickly. The Ponyta bucked once more and leapt into the air, kicking up a cloud of dust as she did so. As predicted, she came back down, her back legs angled downward to stomp the Buizel beneath her. |

The Ponyta seemed freaked out by the water on her hooves. Abellio would ahve to remember that for sure. Then, she jumped in the air and was coming down for a stomp. Abellio had to think of somethign quickly. "Uh, Buddy, use your tails!" Abellio shouted out. Buddy, lookign quite worried as he neared the ground, hooves above him, earth below him, heard the command and instantly obey. His two tails began to spin and soon he was falling slower and slower until, finally, he was just hovering still in the air, moving away from the Ponyta as she continued down. YES, BUIZELS AND CAN SO DO THIS. LOOK. "Good, job Buddy!" Abellio cheered from the side. Jay looked up at his partner in the air and cheered as well, hopping up and down and clapping his tiny "hands" together in joy and excitment. "Now, make it rain with Water Sport!" From up above, the Buizel opened his jaws and water droplets fell from his mouth until it seemed to be rainign in just a little spot below him. Buizel made sure to follow above the Ponyta so the little spot of rain followed her, like those cartoony storm clouds when someone has a bad day. |

"Bonnie, calm down! You're only making it worse!" Hannah frowned, watching as the Ponyta bucked and reared, kicking fiercely as the Buizel drizzled comically above it like a sprinkler. Each droplet of water that touched Bonnie's mane sizzled and steamed, obviously causing the horse discomfort - and royally freaking her out. At this point, she wasn't even thinking. Clenching her teeth, Hannah looked at the floating Buizel, then back at Bonnie. "Use Sunny Day to get rid of the rain, and then ram it!" The fiery horse stopped, snorting indignantly, but obeyed nonetheless. Rearing, her eyes become a clouded white, and a white aura surrounded her body. The aforementioned aura shot into the air and expanded in a blinding light, the result of which was that the light in the battlefield become tremendously brighter, even a hindrance. The parched air easily evaporated the moisture caused by Water Sport, the light and heat still intense. Immediately after the Sunny Day, Bonnie lurched forward, jumping into the air with her head bowed to ram the floating Buizel and perhaps stomp it into the ground if she hit it. |

"Keep it going, Buddy!" Jay was on the sidelines, now up and doing a little dance for his companion. He was like an ittdy bitty cheerleader for Team Abellio. "Smug, leaf-leaf! Smug, smug-leaf-leaf!" Buddy stayed hovering over the Ponyta like a helicopter. Wherever the Fire-type went, Buddy followed above. He sprayed the Water Sport over her like a sprinkler, it wasn't a powerful attack (if one could even consider it to be an attack at all) but it was definately freaking out the Ponyta. The command came from her trainer and the Ponyta used Sunny Day. Abellio grimmaced as the battle area brightened and all of the little droplets of water falling towards the Ponyta evaporated before they could reach her. Buizel stopped the attack and hovered there, trying to figure out what to do now. "Buddy, try-" But before Abellio could get out the command, the opponent leaped in the air and slammed her head into Buddy. The Buizel's tails stopped and he began to fall to the ground, the Ponyta over him. This time, Buddy did not get out of the way in time. He hit the ground, and the horse pokemon hit him. He got a hoof right in the abdomine. "Buuui!" Jay stopped cheering and watched, horrified to see Buddy in pain. Abellio did the same. He watched on, having to stop himself from rushing into the battle himself. This is a battle, he had to remind himself, this is just part of it. Buddy leaned up on his front paws, teeth clentched in pain, but ready to keep going. "You can go this, Buddy! Use Agility!" The Buizel staggered up, took a breath in, then began running at the Ponyta, gaining speed quickly. Soon, he was just an orange blur. As he neared the opponent, he seemed to vanish, but appeared at her side, then vanished again and appeared at her other side. He was making ciracles around her, running faster than eye could see. "Great, now try Whirlpool!" At the command, Buddy opened his mouth and a blue orb formed. Water shot out of the orb and at the Ponyta. As he continued to circle the horse pokemon, the water circled her as well, seeming to form an on-land Whirlpool, with Ponyta in the center. |

"Bonnie, use Will-O-Wisp on yourself!" As the command was shouted, both Honey and Rose looked at one another, then to Hannah, obviously confused as to why Bonnie would be burning herself. Still, despite the odd request, the fire horse dug her hooves into the dirt just as the Whirlpool surrounded her. From within the whirlpool, several blue orbs surrounded Bonnie's body before expanding, creating a superheated area inside the Whirlpool and even serving as means of minuscule protection against the crushing water. Still, despite the increase in power and protection, Bonnie clenched her teeth, fighting against the torrent. "Perfect! Now jump and use Fire Spin, full force!" Bonnie released her grip on the ground and shot up, immediately becoming caught in the motion of the whirlpool until she cleared it, hovering precariously in midair for a split second as she attacked. Opening her mouth, a torrent of spiraling flames shot out towards the Buizel on the ground, forming a fiery tornado in the process. As the Ponyta started to fall back to Earth, she straightened herself, aiming her diamond hard hooves downward to try and Stomp the Buizel once more. Hannah watched, her eyes lighting up with utter delight. Rather than let the fear of water get the best of her, Bonnie seemed to be actually utilizing it. Satisfied, Hannah smiled - even if they did lose this match, it was still a win situation for them. |

Abellio's eyes widened at the sight of the Ponyta burning itself, but he could see why once the Wil-O-Wisip orbs began to protect the pokemon from the water for a while. "Buddy, push harder!" The Buizel kept speeding around in his circle and increased his water power on the fire-type, but it still didn't break through the Wil-O-Wisp. Buizel was getting tired. The Ponyta leapt out of the Whirlpool and into the air, and so Buddy skidded to a stop and ceased his Whirlpool attack, looking up at the horse pokemon as she hit her highest point in the air. Then, fire rained down from the sky and even formed a fiery tornado headed straight for the Buizel. Abellio winced and tried to think of something. "Uh, Buddy, Water Sport over your self!" The Buizel threw himself onto hos back on the ground and spat a Water Sport up in the air, which fell down on top of him, covering a pseudo-shield of water as the fire tornado came at him. It wasn't very effective, as the fire simply evaporated the water uupon contact, but it did just a little to protect him. And the fact that Water-types were resistant to fire attacks helped. But nonetheless, Buizel was pretty beaten up. When he tried to get up, he clutched his left arm. Abellio could see that he was burned. But they had to finish this battle. Abellio looked up at the Ponyta as it forced its hooves down and towards Buddy. That would be the end of him for sure. No. He wouldn't allow it. He already let Buddy get hurt with his last lame excuse for a command, he wouldn't let him get hurt again. "Buddy, follow her with Pursuit!" Buddy nodded and leapt into the air, but seemed to disappear once his feet were off the ground. He soon reappeared above the Ponyta, falling to the ground with her. He pulled back and spun around quickly, slamming his two tails into the side of the horse pokemon's neck. Jay was behind Abellio, his eyes covered ever since the fire started to fall. Man, Abellio thought, this Ponyta is tough... |

Bonnie's eyes widened when the Buizel suddenly vanished, but had no time to react or shift herself in mid fall. With a squeal, the horse Pokemon flinched as the two tails came down upon her neck, sending her into the ground harder than before. Under normal circumstances, her hooves would have absorbed most of the impact, but the hit had knocked her off balance, and she crashed into the ground withers first. "Come on, baby, get back up." Hannah gritted her teeth, watching anxiously. The horse Pokemon snorted in pain, trying it's best to get up off of it's side, but was having trouble, considering how they weren't made to lie that way. The flames on her mane and tail dimmed considerably and she let out another, long neigh, and let her head collapse onto the ground, too exhausted and drained to continue. For a moment, Hannah frowned, disappointed in the loss. But that disappointment soon gave way to concern upon seeing the flames flicker and dim on Ponyta's mane. Raising her hand to signify that Abellio had won the battle, the dark-haired girl rushed out onto the scorched grass, kneeling beside the tired horse. She smiled on the corner of her mouth, relieved that the she was just exhausted. With a few parting words, Hannah called her back into her Pokeball to rest, a proud look on her face. She stood in favor of turning to Abellio and his Buizel now. "You guys were amazing." With little hesitation, the girl rummaged through her pockets, taking out a small wad of money, and a spray container brightly labeled 'Burn Heal'. With a grateful smile, she offered the two items to the trainer, almost insisting that he take them without hesitation. "Thank you so much. Even though we lost, she made so much progress today. Plus, I got the cutest little grass teddy~" |
