You've got the touch! Of Poison... Walking out from Forrest's makeshift tent, Amor, the Snivy, and Obsidian, the Seviper leave at the same time. Amor was constantly right next to Obsidian's face, acting cute to get his attention. Obsidian wasn't much of an "outgoing" unlike Amor apparently, maybe it was the limbs... "Alright you two, I think it's time we train," Forrest said as Obsidian listened to Forrest closely, and Amor made googly eyes at Obsidian, "seeing you two battle, I saw you both don't have many moves, and it was a miracle Obsidian could pull off a Poison Tail, and Amor you seem to revolve around your vine whip." The pokemon waited patiently, Amor now paying attention because she was in the spotlight for a moment, Forrest continued, "So I'm going to teach you two moves you both can learn!" Amor went back to making googly eyes at Obsidian. Obsidian was blushing so much, it was completely obvious because of the red in contrast to his black scaly skin. They both completely ignored Forrest when he said what move they were learning, "Toxic! Okay?" Amor and Obsidian completely distracted by their own affair, Forrest dumped his head into his hands. The team began to walk back into Brevis Village, "C'mon I found the perfect spot!" Forrest said while his two little love-snakes were following. Forrest lead Amor and Obsidian into the Brevis Park, a big open area with tons of trees to practice on. While walking in the park Amor saw a bush of berries, while they were walking, or in Obsidian's case, slithering, Amor ran to the bush and used vine whip on a little Rattata. The Rattata tried to fight back, but it was so weak it couldn't even move from under the vines. She then scurried back to the group. Obsidian turned his head as he saw the little green snake, with legs, scurry back over to him. She then started to backpedal and dragged the Rattata captured in the vines in front of Obsidian. Obsidian looked to Amor, and down to the Rat, double taking them once more. Amor gave Obsidian and smug smile, telling him to eat the Rat. Obsidian took a deep bite, engulfing the entire thing. Forrest suddenly stopped while Amor was backpedaling, Amor knocked into Forrest dropping to the floor. Feeling very sad that she fell in front of her crush, she began to cry in front of them both, Forrest knelt down and put his arm around her, comforting her, "It's okay. You're not hurt. Right Obsidian??" Forrest said looking to Obsidian. Obsidian swallowed the Rattata fast, smiled and looked to Amor agreeing . Suddenly Amor wiped the tears from her face, sniffed since her nose was dripping, and got up. She then ran to Obsidian and hugged him after he ate the berries. "Alright, now that we had our fun and got here, let's actually get to training." Forrest told Amor and Obsidian. Amor then jumped down from Obsidian and looked back to Forrest. Obsidian was petrified, he seemed to be almost a statue he was so still, but at the same time he was blushing immensely. Forrest started laughing under his breath. Walking over to Obsidian, he crouched down and pet him on the forehead. Obsidian then came to his senses and stared at Forrest happily, after the days he's been with Obsidian he's found he loves to be pet on the head. Now that they could finally get to training, Forrest pointed to a tree. "You're going to aim for that tree." Still pointing to the tree, Forrest looked back to the two, surprisingly they were paying attention "It's okay, you won't hurt the environment, we're surrounded by stone." Amor and Obsidian were still listening very carefully as the lump in Obsidian's stomach that was once a Rattata is now being digested. Putting his arm back down to his side, Forrest continued, "You have to gather the poison inside you, breathe in" taking in as much air as he could, sticking his nose in the air, "and spit out the poison!" Forrest said as he blew out a gust of air. Gasping for more air Forrest looked to Amor and Obsidian, "Okay?" he said to the two, "Obsidian try first, aim for the tree, gather the poison, and spit it out!" Obsidian looked over to Amor, then back to the tree and took a big gulp. He attempted to gather the poison he has in his body, then he spit. Only a little spit came out, no poison though. Forrest knelt down and began to pet Obsidian's head, "It's okay Obsidian, we have all day. Amor you're next." Amor walked over near the tree and took a deep breath. Amor leaned forward and focused to gather any "poison" in her. She gathered what seemed like poison in her mouth and spit. She then spit out a stream of spit. "Okay Obsidian, you're back up." Forrest said pointing in front of him. Obsidian slithered over to Forrest and closed his bright red eyes to focus. He took in a deep breath and concentrated on filling his mouth with poison. Obsidian felt a little bit of poison in his mouth, but he also felt gas pushing through his throat. Obsidian couldn't control the gas, so he unwillingly belched, coughing out some poison as well as some purple fur. Obsidian looked around and blushed, Amor giggled under her breath, biting her knuckles to stop her from embarrassing him further. After a couple hours of training, Obsidian was getting better and better, he even shot out a stream already, but Forrest was determined to get the move even stronger. On the other hand Amor was up to the point where she could spit out a couple of droplets of poison, obviously because a poison move would be easier for a poison pokemon. "Obsidian you're back up, I think we'll try a couple more times then we'll go to rest. Now go! Toxic attack!" Obsidian once again focused, and gathered as much toxin into his mouth and shot out a strong, concentrated stream of toxic liquid onto the tree. the purple liquid dripping down the tree began to evaporate and circle the tree. Amor was amazed at how wonderful the attack was she smiled and ran at him. Obsidian turned around to see a happy grass snake running at him. She jumped and gave him a big hug, and for the first time instead of blushing and freezing up, he smiled back and wrapped his tail around her to hug her back. Forrest smiled at the two hugging, seeing Obsidian finally reacting back to Amor's constant attention, "Alright Amor, you're next when you finish hugging him." Forrest said to her. After hugging Obsidian she jumped down from the large snake and closed her eyes as hard as she could, copying what Obsidian did a couple hours ago. Currently the tree was eroding from the poison gas evaporating from Obsidian's toxic spit. Amor focused, and filled her mouth with some poison. Forming her mouth into a circle, she forced out the poison, going into a small thin stream. This was an improvement from Amor's previous attempts. Before Amor could only spit out a couple of drops of poison, "It seems that Obsidian encouraged you to do much better than last time." Forrest said, scratching her underbelly, "Alright let's try this again. Obsidian you're up, do Toxic again!" Obsidian once again gathered the poison in his mouth, filling his entire mouth so his cheeks expanded. Obsidian once again shot a strong beam of toxin into the trunk of the tree. The poison once again evaporated and circled the tree. The toxin ate away at even more of the tree. "Alright Obsidian I think you have the hang of it" Forrest said, "Alright Amor you're up, last time for the day, then we can rest." The sun setting, Amor walked up to the tree, even more confident in her abilities. She once again gathered the toxin in her mouth. She spit it out feeling a strong stream coming out, but the poison come out in little blasts of poison and sprinkling on the ground. This however the blobs of poison were too little to do anything. Forrest walked back to Amor and said, "It's okay you'll get it, you are very close." Amor got a little happier, until Obsidian came over and wrapped his tail around her again, and then for once...she blushed. Forrest, Amor, and Obsidian started walking back to their camp outside Brevis Village. While walking out Amor jumped on Obsidian's back and hugged up to his 'chest' and rode his back as he slithered behind Forrest. Only after a couple minutes the team got back their camp. While Forrest set up the fire, Amor and Obsidian were setting up the tent. After everything was ready Amor went off and gathered a bunch of berries, on the way back she heard something in the bushes nearby. "Rrrrrrraaah!" she heard, she pretended like she didn't hear anything and moved a little faster. Amor got back to the fire and dropped the berries onto some of Forrest's packed clothes he laid out so the berries wouldn't be dirty. Everyone started to eat the berries when suddenly a Raticate jumped out from the bushes, "Rrrrrraaah!" it screamed, angry because Amor took its friend, but Forrest didn't know that. When it came from the bushes it attacked at blinding speed and smashed Amor in the back, spilling all her berries. Amor got up, making evil eyes with the angry Raticate, wiping a falling tear away. Forrest got up, "Alright Amor our first actual battle!" Forrest called to Amor. Amor ran over to Forrest and awaited command. "Okay Amor, use vine whip!" Forrest commanded his first attack. Amor raised her hands and vines sprung from her wrists, she flung them down to the ground, punching the ground while making it as powerful as she could. The vines smacked the Raticate on the head, leaving a bump. The Raticate, infuriated, began to glow blue focusing its power. "Alright Amor, I know we've been trying this...now that you're in a battle go and succeed! Toxic attack!" Forrest yelled with great confidence in Amor. Amor gathered the poison, afraid she would screw up she began to shiver. She gathered what she though to be a good amount of toxin and spewed it out. The toxin was in a focused line heading for the Raticate! But sadly, she missed, most likely because she was shivering. The toxin on the ground started to form into steam rising into the air. Although it seemed the Raticate was going to breathe in the poison gas, it thought fast and lunged for Amor with his buck teeth glowing. That's hyper fang! Forrest thought, "Quick, Amor move!" Amor attempted to move, but it seemed she wouldn't get out of the way fast enough, the Raticate was a bucket of speed, a focused hyper a tiny little grass snake couldn't survive! Amor was doomed! Amor realizing she wouldn't make it attempted to cover her face with her arms and trembled, but suddenly Obsidian lunged in with his tail glowing purple. The Raticate seemed to be about to exact his revenge when he got a violent sock to the mouth by a poison tail. This halted the hyper fang from hitting Amor, but when hitting it in the face with his tail, Obsidian took some of the damage, not as much since the Raticate wasn't aiming for him, but it stung enough to hurt. Great job Obsidian! Amor stood staring at where Raticate once was, but was her love that just saved her from a painful attack, her eyes and jaw were wide open in awe. "Amor focus!" Forrest said, snapping her out of her immobilization. "Now use Toxic one more time, aim for the eyes!" Forrest called to Amor. The Raticate was in a blinding rage, but Amor was calm, confident, and most of all focused. She formed the toxicant in her mouth. She spit it out in a strong line of poison, splashing the Raticate directly in between the eyes with no time to react. The dark purple poison splashed into his eyes from in between, impairing his vision. The synergy of the liquid movement of the poison splashing into its eyes also meant the poison splashed onto the ground, evaporating leaving the Raticate to inhale it. The Raticate however held its breath and ran away. "That was great Amor!" Forrest said, congratulating Amor. However it was too early to congratulate as they saw the Raticate come back from the bushes, stumbling around. Although the Raticate was disabled, he regained the upper hand. The rat brought friends. Two adolescent Rattatas were following the befuddled Raticate, both looking as angry as a tiny harmless rat could look. Before the team could even notice the bitter rats, the head Raticate blindly charged what looked to be Amor. Stupidly missing and running right into the tree stump Forrest was sitting on. "You just don't give up do you!" Forrest shouted at the Raticate, "Obsidian it's your turn!" The Raticate finally got the poison out of his eyes. "This time you're not leaving without fainting! Obsidian wrap!" Forrest shouted at the Raticate, and then gave orders to Obsidian. Obsidian then charged the Raticate and squeezed the Raticate with every muscle in his thick, black body. The Raticate bite down on Obsidian's body, digging his fangs into the skin. Obsidian cringed, but he shook it off. "Obsidian use your own bite!" Forrest instructed. Obsidian then raised his head bit deep down into Raticate's own body with his elongated red fangs. The Raticate clamped his eyes shut in pain. "Now toss him up with your tail and finish him with a poison tail!" Forrest requested in confidence. Then Obsidian did just that, with his mighty tail he unwrapped the weak Raticate, and flung it into the air, waiting for the Raticate to fall, Obsidian readied his poison tail. Raticate beginning to fall, Obsidian's tail glowed purple, once the rat was in range he smacked the Raticate once more, flinging the Raticate deep into the sky, leaving just a twinkle in the sky as it screamed, "Caaaaaaaatttte!!!!" But then the Rattatas just become further infuriated and ran at Amor and Obsidian. "Obsidian poison once more to the one on the right! and Amor fling the one on the left with vine whip!" The two rushed at the tiny mice, Amor dragging her vines from her wrists behind her, and Obsidian's tail glowing. Obsidian smacked the on the right with his tail sending it spiraling back into the bushes, fainted. the purple glow turned back to Obsidian's normal blood red and midnight black blade tail. While at the same time Amor grabbed the Rattata with her vines, immobilizing it. She turned around and flung the mouse into the forest opposite from the other. The vines descended back into Amor's wrists. She looked to Obsidian and blushed, because she loved how he fought, how strong he was. She walked over to him and gave him a light hug, and he curled around her with his tail. They were both very happy, now matter how hurt they got. Awwww.... Forrest thought. After a few hours of sitting by the fire and relaxing after all the training and fighting during the day and dusk Forrest said, "Okay time for bed!" The next morning... Forrest woke up only to see Obsidian laying curled around a sleeping Amor, but what's next to them? Forrest pondered. He found an egg next to them. "Oh my god!" Forrest exclaimed.
