Kuzumi had been working with his Crobat for a while now on trying to teach it to carry him around. So far, Corwin was capable of flying other Pokemon around; just not the trainer himself. Kuzumi and his team had left the Ruined Dojo sometime ago, to give room for his bat to learn the typical HM move called Fly, and so they ended up here on Mt. Stella. This was definitely a great place to learn to Fly and the martial artist turned to his Pokemon to encourage it.

"Let's practice here; what do you think?" His eyes were shining brightly, as they usually did, and his signature cheery grin was spread across his lips. Everything would be worked out up here and the trainer was confident about it. "Ready for this?"

Corwin didn't seem too sure about all of this. Yes he was capable of carrying other Pokemon, small ones like his Umbreon friend, but every time he tried to carry Kuzumi, it just didn't seem possible. There was a moment where he managed to move a couple paces forward before having to let his trainer down though. That was improvement, right?

Kuzumi nodded to George when the latter had questioned him about the speed they were to go by. "If we can take things slowly then we can take things quickly." He announced just before George mentioned a volunteer to go first. Before Kuzumi could jump to his feet to say that he and Corwin would be that volunteer, his eyes widened when Coral ended up being sent flying because of George's tail. Well. That was certainly one way to get to their destination.

Grinning sheepishly as the adolescent saw that the Doduo was perfectly fine with what had just happened, Kuzumi turned his attention back to his Crobat which pulled itself up into the air. "Ready Corwin?" His grin widened as the Crobat let out a soft affirmative and even lowered itself before him so he could clamber once more onto the Bat's back.

"I guess we're next." Kuzumi announced, taking a deep breath, then drumming his fingers against Corwin's side which informed the Pokemon that he was ready.

Soon enough Corwin lifted into the sky, Kuzumi tightening his grip slightly at the sudden take off, then slowly, as if in a waltz, made progress towards Coral. Just as Kuzumi was starting to relax his grip, a breeze came up and forced him to hug closer to his Pokemon. Yes, they were getting the hang of it; did all they need was just somebody else to practice with?

Towards the last stretch, Corwin curved his wings making him flip, Kuzumi laughing with a mixture of amusement and fear as he pressed even closer against his Pokemon's back, before finally settling down next to the tiny Doduo and letting his trainer slide off his back shakily. Next up would be George.

coral seemed to cheer at Corwin landing next to her, moving over to start pecking at Kuzumis feet now as something new to explore and play around with. She wasn't about to stop playing and exploring until every moving object on this mountain had been thoroughly explored, and she was only just scratching the surface here.. Quite literally in fact as she started to use talons to scratch down and see what was beneath the fabrics covering Kuzumis legs and feet.

George looked down to them, trying to smile, but it seeming to all just come out in nerves. Slowly his wings expanded out to their full length again, trying to use the slightest breezes to get him moving, taking every action slowly so he wouldn't fool himself into acting too quickly.

His feet soon left the ground on a gust of wind, him smiling slightly as he used it to try and move forwards over to Kuzumi, despite it not really going in exactly the right direction. His tail was pointing him in the right direction, that would be enough for now. The winds weren't all too strong.

George seemed to be moving down that bit faster than Corwin had, but still slow enough to say that he hadn't rushed it. Or at least he would have been able to say that had an impatient and unknown passenger not gotten bored of him taking his time, weighing him down that bit extra, the sudden increase of mass clear in his flight. He touched down soon enough next to Kuzumi, looking confused as to what had just happened, trying to find any explanation of what it was but everything seemed to have returned back to normal just as suddenly as it had started...

Kuzumi grinned as Coral started attacking his feet and legs. He was even doing a small dance just to make it harder for the curious Doduo to get what she wanted. When he looked up to see how George was doing, he threw a hand up to give a thumbs up when, suddenly, something seemed to way the latter down. "Whoa," Kuzumi blinked as his human friend touched down beside him and began to search for an explanation; "you don't look tired... And that was definitely like somebody put a ton of weight on you to see if you could carry it."

A hand reached up to his red scarf and slid under as fingers hit the Mew pendant beneath it. The teen held onto his necklace as he tried to puzzle the mystery out; nothing seemed to change on George. Without thinking about it, he circled around the latter, running a hand on the wings to get the feel for them then tracing a finger on the tail the best he could.

What went wrong? "You said a guy named Yuki experimented on you." Kuzumi mumbled as he returned to his Crobat's side, having completely forgotten that Coral had been attacking his feet; "there's usually something that comes along with his experiments. A game of some sort that involves Pokemon. Did you end up playing one with him?"

Corwin watched, leaning against a tree and stretching out his wings lazily, as Kuzumi tried to investigate what had happened. Who was this Yuki person? What was his trainer's connection with the guy? The Crobat, still puzzled himself, tried to get Coral's attention and inquire as to who the yellow-eyed guy was that both their trainers seemed to know.

Kuzumi, meanwhile, had shrugged his shoulders before falling onto his butt to sit down. "Well, since we'll be breaking right now anyways, I guess we can try to figure this out now instead of later."

George frowned, seeming just as confused as Kuzumi as he circled around his body to try and find some sort of cause. When the game was mentioned he started to pause, attempting to force his mind back that far, though him not really wanting to.

"Did actually.. Something to do with a..." his voice faded as he seemed to realise what was going on. "Ditto, get off me, please..." he groaned, not having heard the given name of the pokémon due to the lack of concentration on the subject he'd had at the time.

His coat soon seemed to vanish, replaced with a floating etch-a-sketch next to the two of them, a face having appeared on it, looking about as innocent as it were possible when it had just been caught out for being a stowaway on Georges back, though any time the other who had ended up sitting down nearby caught the eye of the drawing the expression seemed to shift to less of a calm and happy one and more aggressive, not liking the normal type of humans in general, just in case one of them decided to start again with the pain.

Coral looked over to Corwin, not seeming to really care too much for what was going on with the humans. She shrugged to him, not really having done all too much in that lab other than be sent away for being too annoying (as if that were even possible) and just generally seeming to be a misery guts. Though when he was around there did seem to be a lot of screaming.

Kuzumi's eyes widened as he learned of the Ditto. The boy was grinning and leaning forward, having crossed his legs, to peer up curiously at the Ditto. "Whoa! That Ditto is awesome!" There was a pause when the subject at hand turned to him and sketched an aggressive expression. "And apparently doesn't like me." That said, he leaned back to sit up normally, though the shine in his eyes never faltered.

Ditto was the sort of Pokemon he half expected to be everywhere, just blending in with its surroundings as other Pokemon or as part of the environment, and slyly choosing the person to accompany while making it appear to be just another random encounter. "So lucky!" Kuzumi breathed as he fell onto his back and spread out his arms while staring up at the sky. "Was he part of the game Yuki put you through? What was the game? Your Ditto friend isn't going to attack me, is it?"

Corwin actually smiled down at Coral when he heard the news. Well, the screaming thing was a bit frightening, but Coral's being deemed annoying and being Teleported away greatly amused the Crobat. He didn't announce this, however, and instead thanked the two headed bird.

George frowned, trying to make sure that he was at least reasonably in between the Ditto and the human, trying to make sure that Figaro wasn't about to attack out for no reason.

"Shouldn't attack, but I have no idea... Only time I ever really saw it up close was while it was trying to kill me..." he mused, giving it a look. "Why are you even here?" he asked, his voice seeming a little cold, the etch-a-sketch soon removing its face, starting to write out words on the surface to communicate.

"I needed freedom. You understand the pain. You felt it too."

"So you decided you would stowaway as my coat? For how long? When were you planning on showing yourself?" he groaned, realising he was leaving Kuzumi out a little, but at this point not wanting him too far involved in case the attempted murder started again.

"Long as it took to notice me. You're different. Knew you would. Better than those normal humans. One who just want to cause us pain."

At that the etch-a-sketch was gone, turning into a crossbow to aim at Kuzumi until George grabbed hold, stopping the firing before anyone got hurt.

"Can we stick to non lethal for a bit?" he asked, Figaro seeming to not be happy with the request, trying to shake him off. "Look, he's useful for now, leave him be." he hissed, before looking to Kuzumi, trying to show that his words weren't his true feelings about him with a look as Figaro seemed to calm down, trusting George for the moment.

Coral seemed to have a little bit of fun telling the story, not being much creeped out by the screaming the way she never seemed to be scared of anything. She seemed to get bored pretty quickly though, already having seen the dittos antics before, trying to climb up onto Corwins head again.

Kuzumi was quietly reading what the Ditto had to say and listening closely to what George had to say. When the Pokemon transformed into a crossbow and was trying to shoot him, he tilted his head a bit to the side, replaying the last thing he read, as George convinced the Ditto not to kill. When Figaro seemed to calm down by the Umbran's last statement, Kuzumi glanced over at the other and read clearly what the older male was trying to convey to him.

Kuzumi was about to say something when his Crobat, who had listened with interest that made him feel sick to what Coral had to say, appeared before him and tried to push him backwards so that the Bat was between him and the Ditto. "Ah, Corwin!" Kuzumi called out as he jumped to his feet and tried to move his Pokemon out of Figaro's range. The Crobat seemed determined to protect him and this made the boy's stomach twist in fear.

Easily Kuzumi slid around the Pokemon and gave it a look which told it to not interfere. He wasn't about to take any chances; better him than Corwin. Corwin, although a bit miffed that he was being denied the right to protect his trainer, did back off reluctantly. This Bat was still worried for his trainer. When Corwin was back beside Coral, Kuzumi looked back to George and Figaro.

"Your Pokemon is quick to jump to conclusions." Kuzumi mumbled, a twinkle in his eye that wasn't entirely hear warming. "What if I'm not a normal human? And what if I'm not interested in causing pain?" As he said this, he threw his hands to the back of his head and interlaced the fingers. "Anyways," the martial artist sighed, shaking his head, before putting on a well worn, cheery grin and looking to George with optimism; "I think, since you were able to carry that Ditto of yours when it added weight during your flight, that you can probably Fly with a bit more ease than before."

The boy glanced over to his Crobat which was sheepishly apologizing to the Doduo for leaving it momentarily as the bird clambered onto the Crobat's head. "Corwin and I also got the hang of Flying too so I guess our practice session is done?" Corwin peered up at him, a look of relief and disappointment mingling in the Crobat's eyes. "Some alone time with your Pokemon might be necessary, after all." He laughed softly.

Coral managed to look very confused at what was going on, not seeming to care in the slightest about the supposed danger Kuzumi was in but staying casual and relaxed throughout, as though Figaro had turned into something so threatening and dangerous as a bunch of flowers. She carried on trying to scramble onto Corwins back, though ending up bouncing up as high as she could to land on his back. She had the jumping power to do it quite easily. It was the ability to jump stupid amounts which helped their species still be called flying for the amount of time they stayed in the air.

George frowned, giving Figaro a look until it eventually changed to the etch-a-sketch once again, though the face on its surface not seeming happy.
"Be honest, most of its life so far has been in a cage in Yuki's lab, so I don't think its got the best view of the world right now.." he mused, looking to Figaro who just seemed to pout. He rolled his eyes at the pokémon, letting it pout for the moment. He'd work on getting it to understand better later on.

"Guess flying comes a bit more natural than I expected.. Wasn't really thinking I'd be able to do any sort of distance in just tonight.." he smiled. "Thanks for the help. Not sure how I'd've even thought of starting without you." he spoke sincerely, nodding his head in a form of politeness to the other, Figaro just watching, looking confused at what was going on, but leaving it be for now.

"Has it?" Kuzumi asked with surprise; "that's different." He tilted his head slightly as he peered at the etch-a-sketch and noticed the unhappy expression that was drawn. A huge smile lit up his features as he looked over at George. "I'm sure you'll show it there's more to the world than pain."

That said, he motioned for his Crobat to come over. The Bat was soon by his side, Coral riding him, and awaited instruction. Sheepishly Kuzumi plucked the Doduo off his Pokemon's back and placed it on the ground before straightening and turning back to his Bat. "You would have thought of something," Kuzumi laughed as he replied to George's thanks; "We just happened to be conveniently placed- it's almost like you knew I'd be up here!"

Now he was on Corwin's back and peering over the Bat's shoulder lazily. "Well! Maybe we'll meet again?" The auburn-haired adolescence grinned happily; "Have fun flying and everything!"

And at that, his Crobat lifted higher into the skies, though not high enough to touch the clouds as if the two were veterans at the art, and flew off in a random direction. The two had glided a bit, letting the wind carry them most of the way, and would pull up, shift sides slightly, and descend at intervals. Even while they were leaving they were still practicing their flight.

George smiled faintly, watching Kuzumi and Corwin flying off casually before looking to Figaro and Coral.

"Right, Ditto, can you turn into some sort of sling so we can leave without leaving Coral behind?" he asked, Figaro seeming to sigh, realising that it was going to be getting some sort of talking to on the flight to wherever they would end up being going. One thing it did do before hand though, was transform into one of those typical 'Hello, my name is' badges, with its name given by Yuki scrawled onto it.

George seemed to roll his eyes at the fact the creature was already named, though leaving it be. He wasn't about to try and get creative with a stowaway, so let it have what was already its.

"Fine, Figaro. Sling please. If not just that jacket again with a pocket large enough for her." he mused, Figaro becoming a similar type of jacket to before, still blackish, still leatherish, but this time quite a bit longer so any pocket Coral would end up in wouldn't be ridiculously high. Neither of them wanted those two beaks anywhere near their ears.

The three soon took off once everyone was secure, George flying to the skies in the opposite direction to Kuzumi so them next bumping into each other wouldn't be too soon. He'd find a clothing shop so Figaro wouldn't be his only top left and could be more useful things when needed. Also most of the trip was as the transformation pokémon expected being talked at. Just not being yelled at. There was no 'how dare you judge all humans, don't attack them' or anything. It was more 'wait until the humans aren't useful any more. Make sure not to be noticed so obviously when writing messages explaining what was about to happen' and such.

Figaro could learn to love being in this team, even if it was with a religious nutter rather than being back to freedom.
