Well, for those of you who have never read the hunger games, it's where 24 people are randomly chosen from the 12 districs of this country called panem. one girl and one boy from each district.

In this RP, each person is a tribute, but in this RP you're a pokemon, not a person. And this year the arena is a vast forest, with many trees and shrubbery, with little streams here and there. In the middle of this arena is a pile of supplies. TMs, hold items, food, you name it.

So, the goal of the game is to eliminate all of the other players. In this verion, there will only be as many tributes as there are people who wanna rp. Considering 24 people won't probably wanna do this, there will probably be closer to 12. Yes...I'll keep the limit to a managable 12 tributes. So we're only usuing districts 6-11. And there is a boy and girl for each.

So, make alliances with other pokemon, stick with your fellow district tribute, and may the odds ever be in your favor.

-The Gamemaker

(Ok, so if you wanna be a part of this, tell me your pokemon (can be anything but legendary) and your district number (6-11))

What each district represents:

6: Fishing, Netting

7: Lumber

8: Communications

9: Medicine

10: mining

11: Orchards and acriculture

Current Tributes:

I'm going to be a Growlithe from district 11 ^^

And an epic Furret from district 11 (I'm making two cause I know they won't all get filled plus I love district 11 in the book >.>)

Sonny's an infernape from 7

Amy's an Riolu from 7

Yuki is a haunter from 8

Diz is a KROOKODILE from 8

Yuki is also a Magicarp from 6 x3

Tain is a vaporeon from 6

Tain's a Dragonite from 9

Hero's a Wortortle from 9

Nichole's a sandslash from 10

Lukos is a charmander from 10
(Strikethrough means you're out)
(ALL TRIBUTES ARE TAKEN)

Both tributes from district eleven rose into the arena, eyes open for coming threats. They had decided to pair up so as not to kill eachother off. One of them would end up dieing in the end but neither wanted to be the one to make the other go.

The girl tribute, a Furret, looked around and saw a pile of items. "Hey, growlithe, look at that pile..bet it'll be a hotbed for pokemon...better not risk it yet..."

But as she said it the boy growlithe darted forward, shooting fire at anyone who got in his way. He grabbed two TMS to be determined later and a small bag of berries and ran past the Furret. "Come on!"

The furret rolled her eyes and rushed after her companion. She hoped he died soon.

They got to an outcrop of trees and decided something. They would split up to make it easier to stay hidded, though they made a truce and said neither would eliminate the other till the very end, then they split up the supplies. The growlithe took one of the TMs, Flamethrower, and the Furret took the other TM, Secret Power, and they split the berries.

Growlithe loped off to battle and the Furret hid in the trees for protection and so she could jump out at unsuspecting tributes.

Growlithe went back to the supplies and hid behind a big boulder to wait for the others.

The water-fox was released into a still river, there was no current or rapids at the current location. It was surrounded by rocks, almost as if it were purposely dammed to give an eerie quiet effect.

Her eyes blinked a few times while observing the surroundings around her, she was suddenly pushed out of a cage and beneath the water. "Oh no.." She gasped, bubbles coming from the blue pokemon's lips. The Vaporeon spun in a few circles, propelling herself through the water with her tail, extending the fins along her tail and head causing her to stop. The water pokemon hummed to herself worryingly while looking up to the surface, she was scared. There was no noticeable sun shining through the water, meaning she was in a denser part of the forest. "Oh dear.." The water-fox's fin-like ears bent back while she hovered motionless in the water, partially out of confusion of what to do next and out of being scared that any movements in the water might alert a pokemon that may be stalking around the surface.

There was a splash as a certain reddish- orange, medium sized Fish Pokemon was released into the water. He struggled, confusion apparent in his eyes, to flip himself over so that he could swim properly. At last he had managed it and let out a sigh of relief. "I swear to Arceus," the Magikarp breathed out as he swam around a bit; "when I evolve, I'm going to kill you all..." But, for now, the Fish Pokemon knew that he had to make alliances with others before he could even hope to evolve in this crazy mess. He needed to find that girl that came here with him; if he had some sort of protection while he continued his practice of swimming upstream, hopefully there would be a waterfall which he could do this with, then he would be set.

~~

A Haunter let out a disappointed sigh as he recalled the female Krookodile that came here with him. He had left her, quite quickly, to ensure that she wouldn't just turn around and Crunch him or anything the moment they were let into the game. "How do I always manage to find the worst luck?" He wondered out loud, as he floated through a random tree that decided to exist in his direct path.

It didn't matter much to him, however, whatever happened in this bloody game because he knew one thing for certain: none would be as dead as he. He was a borderline deadling; only living as a ghost. Did this count, his being a Ghost Pokemon? It must have if the dictator allowed him to enter the game.

But whatever. For now, he would lurk and scope out the competition. He had already watched as a Growlithe and Furret agreed to have a truce only to split up; the Gas Pokemon had even watched as the Growlithe ran off to 'puppy guard' the TMs. It didn't matter to this Haunter, however. He was more interested in seeing how the game went. For now, he would float around and watch; if things got a bit too personal for his tastes, then he would just have to do what he did best.

Vaporeon could feel the water start to flow against her, wait, there wasn't any current here it had been completely dammed off. Being the nervous pokemon she was, she could hear something.. kill.. Kill? Fear grew in the water-fox while she tried her best to remain completely still, feet occasionally kicking the water to stay in her current position. Then a reddish fish came into her sight, she intently watched it, relaxing a little when taking notice to what pokemon it was. She shyly swam forward towards the Magikarp, her body smoothly gliding through the water, her tail pushing her to both sides as she warily watched the fish.

"Are you with District.. 6?" She swam up face to the face with the other fish pokemon, feeling a bit more comfortable, and a bit more close. Her long slender body wiggled in the water and she kept her ears back, trying to not appear like a threat and give off an innocent disposition.

The Magikarp swirled in the water, frightened, as he faced the Vaporeon that had confronted him. The girl appeared innocent enough, even threat free. Like hell he was going to fall for that. "Yeah, I am. What of it?" He watched, his eyes still wide with a bit of fear, and circled the other as if to gauge her potential. A thought struck him and he actually breathed out a sigh of relief at it.

"You're from Distric 6 too, right? Mind if we stick together?" His question was shameless, though he did manage to blush a little at the question because, no matter what, it was still embarrassing. "I mean, you don't have to side with me since I'm a Magikarp and all but..."

A great roar shook the branches of the many trees in the forest. “Where’s all the fresh meat!?!” a loud, menacingly deep voice howled at a deafening volume. A powerful rumbling began, shaking the trees down to the very roots. Suddenly, a massive figure bashed down a triangular tree formation with no trouble at all. The figure huffed and puffed heavily, adrenaline rushing through it’s veins, despite the fact that there haven’t actually been any fights yet.

With another great roar, the figure stepped out into the light: A towering, terrifying, and incredibly masculine leviathan of a Krookodile. One would never guess from it’s bloodthirsty demeanor and large size that it was, in fact, a she. “Come on! How can I pummel someone into oblivion when there’s nobody to pummel!?! What ever happened to that pansy little ghost I was paired up with!?!” She looked around, malice showing clear through her eyes. Let’s see if she can find herself a nice little victim somewhere in this forest…

The Vaporeon spun with her teammate as he circled her, spinning in the opposite direction in which he was going around her. His question made her stop and raise her two front paws, as if she were ready to do a high-ten. "Mhm!" The pokemon cheered, flicking her tail beneath her.

"What should we.. do?" /That/ question arose. Vaporeon could travel on land, though Magikarp can't. Then there was that dam that secluded them into this deep little pool. She of course could help him over if he couldn't make the jump, but then they'd just be out and in the middle of the arena with no idea what was going on. "Should we look for food?" The female suggested, trying to figure out their top priorities other than just surviving.

The furret cowered in her tree when she heard the big roar. "Oh god....ohgodohgod...." She muttered, feeling her tree vibrate. She closed her eyes and shrunk back in her tree so as not to be seen.

The growlithe turned back to the trees and saw a monster of a Krookodile. His eyes widened and he growled. He saw his Furret companion shrink into the trees and hoped she would be alright cause he wanted her to win if he didnt. He stayed at his post though, and shrunk back so as not to be seen.

"We should..." He trailed off, not quite sure himself. What could they do when one of them, specifically himself, couldn't travel on land and was stuck in this mostly empty puddle of water? "Find something that I can practice swimming upstream with, I guess. I need to get stronger so I can help us survive. Food would be good, but as a Magikarp I don't really need to eat much."

He sighed as he looked around to the best of his ability. It would be obvious that Pokemon from their district would stay close to the water, but would it be even more obvious if they tried to avoid the water in fear of being caught? The Fish had a feeling that it would be more advantageous to stay near the water, but how much help had that been for his ancestors?

"There are too many variables!" The Magikarp cried out as he shook his head the best a fish could. At least their conversation would go unheard as long as they remained underwater; it just wouldn't go unnoticed because of the air bubbles that were probably going to the surface. "I feel pretty useless right now."

The Vaporeon gasped, suddenly feeling the need to increase the fish's ego. Her paws wrapped around Magikarp and pulled him close, rubbing her cheek on his forehead. "It's awwight lovie!" She chirped, releasing him from her grasp and effortlessly pushing herself towards the dam. Head moving back as she looked up the large wall that trapped them. Vaporeon made various hums and squeaks while scaling the wall, feeling its density.

Kicking off the wall with her hind legs she pushed herself back towards he Magikarp, a bit of the rock-mud substance drifting off the barrier. With an excited half-meow-half-bark the pokemon eagerly wagged her tail, swishing her from side to side. "I can break through it, for you! And I'm sure the current on the other side pushing through will be more than enough of practice." Giving her partner a toothy grin she awaited his approval to start shredding up the dam.

If the Magikarp thought he had blushed earlier, then he was a brighter red at the cheeks than previously as he was hugged and soothed by the Vaporeon. Relief swept over him as he shook himself while the Eeveelution swam away briefly. "That was more embarrassing than asking for help... But no Pokemon has been kind to me like that." He tilted in the water a bit as he tried to think about that; he was used to being made fun of because he was just a Magikarp.

Before he could continue on this train of thought, however, the female Vaporeon had returned and announced her good news which, as much he didn't want to, made him smile so widely he even did a sort of flip in the water.
"That'll be perfect!"

Each hair stood on end, sharpening the mind to both the close heat and eminent danger that lay ahead. Sharing the same elevator ring with her partner was an ideal start, so she knew exactly where he was at the beginning. This way they could keep a close eye on each other, perhaps work together for a grab at the center. Would he even want to cooperate?

The platform lifted each Tribute up the airy shaft, the tiny space constricting them to minor movements, and causing a bit of a problem. The flames from Katta the Riolu’s partner was already starting to singe her right arm fur. Curse the tight space.

“When we reach the outside, we will have approximately five seconds to think with before a gong wishes us to move,” she informed him while keeping her eyes forward. “We can either work together on this or go our separate ways, but I strongly suggest the latter. It’s up to you.”

Katta inhaled the sweet air of the Arena within the five seconds they had. Once the gong sounded, she darted as fast as she could towards the middle of the circle in hopes of snatching at least one item. Her father had trained her well in the art of stealth and she wanted to make him proud.

She slipped her fingers around a smooth object, probably a stone of some sort, before anyone tried to take a swing at her. If her partner followed, she wouldn’t have noticed until stopping on a high tree branch five yards from the starting point. Her landing hardly made a sound as the rush of air rustled the leaves.

As Krookodile continued ruthlessly shaking trees, a small sound caught her attention. Immediately, her head snapped to the direction that the noise came from. She found herself face-to-face with… A tree. The red crocodile growled dangerously. What was that? It sounded like… A voice. She looked up, and found nothing up there. It may have been the tree behind this one. Or the tree behind that one. Or behind that one. Sure, it may have just been the large Pokemon’s imagination, but there was still that chance that it wasn’t.

“I know you’re there!” she howled threateningly. “I know you’re here somewhere!” She waited for a few moments to see if anyone came out. When nothing did, she simply snorted nonchalantly. They wanted to try to hide from her in the trees? She’d just have to shake them out… Literally. Slowly, she raised a foot into the air, taking a brief pause at the top. Then, she brought it down full-force upon the ground, summoning up an Earthquake. The immediate area began to shake violently, even knocking over a pretty good amount of trees. “Whatever’s out there,” she spoke menacingly. “There’s no way it can hide from me with this in place.

The Infernape let out a large yawn, stretching. He wasn't really worried.

"yeah, yeah, five seconds, yadda yadda" Said Zach. His eyes couldn't be seem because of the abnormally cool, Jazz-style black glasses that he was wearing right now, but they were passing that feeling of "let's chill" that seemed to be all around him anyway.

"Well, look" Said him, looking down to the Riolu/Katta "I don't really know what I'll do. If you wanna stick together, be my guest. If not, see ya, hope you don't die" He gave the Katta a chilling smile before they got thrown in the arena.

Once the gong sonded, Zach jumped forward with a lightning fast movement; he ran some time, and when he got close to the pile of items, his tail, a feet and a hand darted forward, picking up three things - The freat thing about being an ape is that your feet work as hands just well enough. He leaped forward twice, going on a long distance, before using Acrobatics to do a last light-speed jumped, ending up in a tree branch.

All the action didn't took more than three seconds.

"Soooo." Said him, looking what was with him now; a TM, a Black Belt, and a Berrie "I guess I'll see you later"

Zach immediatelly got up on the tree branch and started to leap from branch to branch, going away fast before anyone could get too close.

Growlithe narrowed his eyes and growled as an opponent came by and got a rock. But he stood back. Suddenly the ground shook and his eyes widened. He knew that wouldn't be good for the Furret. He stayed there though to wait for a helpless victim.

Furret squealed, trying to hold on and hide, but she fell out of the tree and landed with a thud. She tried to skid back into the trees but she knew she had been spotted. She curled up into a defense curl and hoped she'd be lucky.

The Haunter, hearing the deafening roar, found himself floating back in the direction that he last saw the Growlithe and Furret. Much to his amusement, it appeared that Pokemon were already having a throw down. Not at all to his surprise, however, he learned that it was that girl from his district that was picking the fight already. Shrugging, he looked away and watched as a Riolu and even an Infernape each dashed by to grab what they could.

"Well some puppy guard this Growlithe is." The Haunter chuckled humorlessly as he decided to move on. He had already encountered, one way or another, five participants. All together that made six; half of the total number. "All in good time, I suppose." The Gas Pokemon was confident that he would get his entertainment soon enough, but first he wanted to play a little prank on the others.

Pranks were, after all, what he lived for. With this in mind, he sank into the earth and maneuvered his way towards the pile of the remaining items. Poking his head up from the ground, eyes gleaming, he opened his mouth up wide, swallowed what was left of the possibly still large pile, and returned underground.

The growlithes eye's widened as a Ghastly ate all the items. "Hey!" He jumped into the empty space that used to be the pile of items. He shot a ring of fire around himself, realizeing he should have done that before the items were taken to protect them. He facepalmed. "Hey haunter...Um...where'd the items go? If I team up with you and we fight together can I have a few items? Please?"

He kept a sharp eye out for opponents but was pretty safe with his ring of fire at the moment. "I'm Pyro by the way.."

Katta climbed the rest of the way up on her tree, resting near the top so she could oversee any goings-on. Only when sitting on the second to last branch did she examine her prize..."Is this some sick joke?" she asked herself, gawking at the object in her hands. "What am I supposed to do with a Dark Plate? I don't know any Dark moves." She contemplated her next actions. She could throw this Plate away into the river, or she could using it to her advantage. But, how would that work for a Fighting type such as herself?

She heard screams from different Poke'mon coming from the same direction and, to be honest, she was a little afraid of thinking what could be going on. "No emotions. Breathe...ok." She swung on the branches to make a soft landing on the mossy floor. "At least this thing is small enough not to be a burden." She dashed further away from the center of the Arena to make sure she distanced herself from lurking danger.

She should probably keep to the trees in case something were to spot her too easily running on the ground. Using the branches as tools, Katta regrettably ran directly into a river. She had misjudged the distance of the next branch and her neck smacked into it. Hope that splash wasn't big enough to attract attention.
