Even though she had only muttered it quietly to herself, Tycil still managed to hear her name and he couldn't help but grin. "Bel. I like that name." He nodded the best a fish could before suddenly feeling the increase in intensity. This was more of a struggle than he thought and he was greatly relieved that Bel was with him because the Vaporeon was helping him through this.

Realizing that he was being helped only made him blaze with even more determination. He had to evolve for this Vaporeon. He couldn't be a burden to her any longer.
"Let's get through this; I get stronger as the current gets stronger." And he was right, he could already feel the changes within him.

"Cool" Said Zach as the haunter explained the items thing. Well, that was pretty usefull, and-- What.

"What." Asked him, looking at Katta jumping with a force palm to try and strike Mladen. Zach just watched as she got Sucker Punched away

"Oh, hey, good move" Said him, looking to Katta "How about throwing a rock next time? I heard it's flawless." He chuckled humourlessly behind his jazz black glasses, then looked at Mladen "Yeah, sure, be my guest. Zach, by the way." He jumped at another branch, now starting to move faster towards the fight. Once he got there, he would make sure to be hidden well, though, in a place where he could enjoy the brawl and not get caught in the middle of it.

Riolu's eyes widen at the Dark type Sucker Punch. Definately not what she was expecting. It hit her in the gut, just right, so she had to double over. The Haunter had dodged her move so easily that it had left her too stunned to counter. She was sent back into the earth with a thud. "That hurt," she moaned, but got up almost perfectly fine to brush off all the dirt and grass.

"Hey!" she called as Mladen spirited away (forgive me I suck) with Infernape to watch some bloodbath. Her original plan was to run as far away as possible, but now that she knew not everyone wanted her dead, so she followed.

On the way over, Katta noticed a small, orange Poke'mon beneath a scorch-marked tree and decided to make a stop to check it out. "Hello? AHH Fire!"

When the Dragonite mentioned it’s weight, Krookodile took a step back, utterly shocked. The Outrage flames died down ever so slightly. “…F-four hundred sixty pounds…?” Looking up at the much taller Dragon, she stayed totally silent for a moment. Then, all of a sudden, she burst out laughing. “460 pounds!?! HAHAHAHAHA! You sure do look it, fatty!” She didn’t seem very fazed by the great size difference between the two of them.

Once she regained her composure, the flames burst to a size even larger than before. “It’s okay though,” she told her new opponent. “Not everybody can be as beautiful as I am.” As soon as the last word left her mouth, she rushed the Dragonite quickly, not wasting a second. She hoped to make contact before the other tribute could finish the Dragon Dance.

Pyro dispelled the fire ring and looked up, narrowing his eyes. "Who's there?" He walked over to the Riolu cautiously, fire licking between his teeth, "Don't you go trying anything funny...what do you want?"

Boy, he sure looked serious. But, why not be? They were all supposed to be tearing each other apart and whatnot. "Don't worry about me attacking," she assured the Growlithe. "I'm against fighting as long as I know someone's not plotting to kill me at the moment." She stretched her legs and pointed in front of her. "I'm going to check out the battle going on some ways ahead and was wondering if you would like to join."

He narrowed his eyes further, "How can I trust you? I could turn my back and you could pin me down and finish me off...." He growled, "How do I know you're not plotting with someone to finish me off? To get these few supplies?" He shoulered his bag of berries. "Since I'm better off with supplies and not picking fights..." He looked his 'companion' up and down. "Though i guess I could easily finish you off if you tried anything funny..." He shrugged, sighing. "Ok, well let's get going." He said, rolling his eyes and walking in the direction she pointed.

Katta just rolled her eyes and ran forward again. He had a point, but really? Did she look that evil? She stopped at the edge of the trees, since the rest were knocked down for a distance. "That's one strong, angry Croc!" she commented. "To take down that many trees and still have the energy fight against a big Dragonite!" She took a seat on the same branch to watch from the possibly-safe distance.

Pyro rolled his eyes, "Do you really think that I, a growlithe, can climb a tree?" He sighed, "And that stupid croc killed my partner." He sat on a boulder beside the tree, looking at the battle of the giants. "I need revenge..."

"Mhm." The Dragonite nodded cheerfully, "Of course not, you're just a beaut." She said this while dancing, using Agility to speed her dance up and quickly dodge out of the way of the other pokemon as it rampaged. As the Krookodile passed her, Dragonite summoned a Hurricane by lifting her fingers into the air and making a sound that resembled a yawn. "But no plastic surgeon can fix you after thisss!" She sang, gracefully whipping around in a wide circle, her tail serving as a turbine of sorts while a purple-grey wind surrounded her.

Then all you could hear was a demonic laugh of sorts as the winds engulfed numerous trees and bushes, sending them flying into the air. Rocks spitting out in all directions as the Hurricane picked them up and shot them out like projectiles.

Mladen had glanced back to see what the Riolu runt wanted, but then decided she wasn't worth the effort because the Emanation Pokemon had already been distracted by Pyro. "I wonder if there will be a bloodbath between those two as well?" It was an exciting thought, especially since he didn't particularly care what happened in the end, but first he wanted to see what the Krookodile and Dragonite would do.

He had arrived just in time to watch the Dragonite do an inane Dragon Dance. The Haunter refused to comment, however, because each Pokemon had their own version of the generic attacks. So he watched, occasionally looking towards the Growlithe and Riolu to see what they were up to, blinking every now and then as rocks and trees flew through him.

"Wonderful weather we're having today." Mladen commented as a huge slice of boulder fazed through him making him disappear momentarily. "Blue skies, few clouds, perfected with a Hurricane throwing up rubble and trees. I'd say this is a dead man's paradise."

Two black, beady eyes peered out from a hole just beneath an outcropping of bushes. The Sandslash swiveled her (his? I can't remember if I choose a male or female) head to scan the surrounding area, a bit wary of the Krookodile and Dragonite. The Mouse Pokemon had effectively cleared out a tunnel for herself, using it as means of transport rather than risk traveling above ground. Unfortunately for the Charmander she had come here with, since the little Fire Lizard couldn't travel underground, she had ditched it immediately. It wasn't her problem if the reptile couldn't keep up with her. Suddenly, with a squeak, the Sandslash ducked her head back into the hole as the Dragonite summoned a Hurricane. Good Arceus, these Pokemon were savages!

Flattening the spikes on her backside, the shrew-like Pokemon crawled from her hole and, staying close to the ground, approached a Growlithe whom she had been listening to. The dog had mentioned something about revenge, which peaked Sandslash's interest. Growlithe were lithe and agile creatures, perhaps she could utilize this to her advantage. Teaming up with the dog could mean extra food and protection - not to mention that if the Growlithe began to get on her nerves, the Krookodile would soon get a hold of her. What could go wrong? So, the Sandslash stood up as it approached the rock, her spikes still flat to avoid being pummeled by the wind.

"Revenge?" She said, her voice high pitched and quick. "I could help you with that."

Pyro glanced over as a squeaky voice caught his attention. "Really? You'd help me with that big croc?" He scoffed, "Like a little oaf like you could help me." he thought for a moment, debating whether this sandslash would be a good ally. He sighed, "Sorry I'm just in a bad mood...cause, well, you know why. We can be allies if you want. If you help me take out that monster first. I could help you with food, I have a whole bag of berries."

Pyro narrowed his eyes, looking the pokemon up and down, "Though realize this; If you try to stab me in the back or do anything funny, I will fry you. Got it?"

Zach approached quickly, looking at the Krokodile and the Dragonite exchanging a Ham-to-Ham combat. He chuckled when he saw the Dragonite Dragon Dancing; he knew it was usefull, but for Arceus sake, that was a dumb dance.

"Ten bucks on the krokodile" Said him cooli, scratching his chin and looking to the battle. When the Krookodile aimed and Outrage and the Dragonite started to laugh, something on his gut told him that shit was about to go down.

Five seconds before the Hurricane could be unleashed, Zach jumped backwards, grabbind a branch with his tail and backing off quickly 100 meters or so; just in time, because the Hurricane exploded the area where he was a moment ago. Getting hold of a specially sturdy branch, the Infernape waited for thirty seconds or so for the storm to pass. He jumped back to his sideline spot like nothing had happened.

"Don't like wind much, don't mind" Said him, sitting on a pile of crashed trees that the Hurricane destroyed. "I take that bet back, by the way. I think that Krookodile is about to get...grounded, y'know." He chuckled humourlessly.

As interesting as the fight between the Krookodile and the Dragonite was bound to prove being, Mladen found himself watching as a couple Pokemon were around Pyro. It seemed that the little Growlithe was gathering allies; this could never do. "Excuse me." The Haunter muttered to his companion, Zach, before slowly sliding into the ground and disappearing. Where he reappeared was behind the Growlithe, a short distance away, just as the Puppy announced that he had some berries.

Well that would prove useful if the canine actually had the bag, wouldn't it? Suddenly there was a Haze, caused by the Gas Pokemon himself of course, that enveloped the area the Growlithe, Riolu, and Sandshrew were in. Before he could be noticed by any of the afore mentioned, however, he slipped into Pyro's shadow, much as his father Gengar had taught him to do many times, so as to avoid detection.

Just for the kicks, another thought came to mind and a smile that would go unnoticed because of his hiding spot touched his lips. In the mixture of the Haze came a thin layer of Smog, barely noticeable, that touched whatever the Haze touched. This was good, this was very good.

And now the berries would most likely be rendered poisonous because of the smog. Should he bother grabbing the bag anyways? Well, if there was something inside the bag that could cure the poisons that should be clinging to the body of the two Pokemon on the ground, then it would have to be a miracle for there to be enough for both Pokemon.

Mladen, however, would not be sticking so close just to find out. Instead, he went deeper into the earth to leave only to materialize in the tree near his Infernape company. In his position, he would be able to watch what happened among Pyro's gathering as well as what happened in the Dragonite- Krookodile battle.
"I was always voting for the Dragonite."

Pyro's vision was suddenly impared and he growled, looking around for the culprit. A shiver went down his spine. "Err...it's the Haunter...that dick..."

He turned around and shot a wave of fire in the Haunter's general direction but doubted it hit.

He growled and ran away from the haze, checking his bag to make sure the berries were still there. They seemed to be, yet there was something off about them. He sniffed them and dropped the bag, growling. "They're poisoned!" He sighed, picking up the bag. well they might at least prove as a trap for fellow tributes. I can pretend to offer food...then they can eat up the poison berries. he smirked, perfect. And he realized he could easilly find more berries in the woods and hunt for food. He was better off then all of those other losers.

Pyro trotted back to the others when the Haze went away and smiled, "Well that was weird."

(If you posted and the next person in line doesn't post for two days then skip him/her and they can just go when they get back.)

Yuki's Edit: So we're in need of a posting order? Rapid Posting does leave people behind I suppose. Alright, here's what I'm doing about it. Follow my lead:

Liz's Growlithe from 11
Sonny's Infernape from 7
Amy's Riolu from 7
Yuki's Haunter from 8
Diz's Krookodile from 8
Tain's Vaporeon from 6
Yuki's Magikarp from 6
Tain's Dragonite from 9
Hero's Wartortle from 9
Nichole's Sandslash from 10
Lukos's Charmander from 10

Yes, that is just the list of participants in their respective districts. Yes, the difference is that my Magikarp goes after Tain's Vaporeon.
A posting order was requested; the order itself wasn't.
If this doesn't work, then further changes will be made and I'll apologize for failing.

"A little oaf like me!" Sandslash exclaimed, infuriated. How could this puppy call her an oaf? She was fully evolved, not to mention quite large compared to a juvenile Pokemon like himself! How dare he cop an attitude with her after she had stuck her neck out to provide him with assistance! Unable to contain her frustration, the quills on her backside began to lift. Before she had the chance to retort, something odd started to occur. An odd haze seemed to be taking over the immediate area. Instinctively, the Sandslash jumped up, claws extended in front of her, and dove into the ground as if it were water. Of course, she would hide out there for the remainder of the time the poisonous gas lingered about.

From underground, the keen-eared rodent could easily hear each of the vibrations from above; from those brutes Dragonite and Krookodile stomping about, to the light-footed pawing of the Growlithe as it walked away. Sandslash tunneled directly beneath Pyro, and with a quick twist of her claws, caused the ground to collapse, hopefully with the Growlithe above. Whether or not this worked was debatable, but should it succeed, the Sandslash would then stand to her full height upon the collapsed ground, claw extended.

"Now you listen here, puppy," She started. "I came out of the comfort of my tunnel to help you; the least you could do is pretend to be grateful. We can help one another out. I can provide means of transportation by digging tunnels. That way you won't get your little puppy butt squashed by those brutes above. I can find roots and hear Pokemon coming underground long before you can. Not to mention, I can cause cave-ins like this one when the occasion calls for you. You can provide protection and sniff out food. Got me?"

Pyro yelped when the earth caved in under him and he narrowed his eyes at the Sandslash with the lethal looking claws looming over him. "Ok, ok. Sounds good." He said, realizing that one, if he said no then he'd get killed immediately by the sandslash, two, he needed as many allies as possible, three, she had a good point.

"Now, if you'd please let me up we can get going...oh and thanks for squiching some of my berries..I was gonna use all of those..." He said, leaning closer and wispering into his new ally's ear. "They're poisoned. Great tactic, no?"

He pulled back and looked at the Sandslash quizically, as if saying 'you gonna let me up now?'
