Note: We will begin this on Monday, so send me those PMs with your characters before then to join!

Also-- To ensure this stays active, we are working off of a strike system. If you do not reply within 24 hours of your turn, you will be skipped. If this happens three times in a row, you will be dropped from the RP. This will hopefully encourage people to be active and allow this RP to move smoothly and quickly.

Hey, guys! I'm proposing a non-main RP involving either our own characters or ones that we've made up! Teams can be modified, although legendaries are still a no-go since they play a big part of the plot.

So basically, to get things going, we need people to pick a side: Good or bad. Bad doesn't necessarily mean in Umbra or Team Rocket, though. The government could be viewed as the "bad guys" merely because they are acting unethical.

On top of that, we also need someone to play Mew and Mewtwo. They can be played by separate people, or by the same for all I care. As long as the people are active and this plot actually keeps moving, I'm happy. A note on Mew and Mewtwo- They need to try and escape, and hopefully team up with the 'good guys' to help free the rest of the captured legendaries. Also, Mew is only able to communicate directly to Mewtwo, as well as other Pokemon. She cannot speak to humans. Mewtwo, like in the movies, is able to speak to humans through a telepathically projected voice.

Well, that's about all you need to know. Go ahead and read the plot and decide if you'd like to join! If you do choose to join, let us know when you're disappearing for more than a day or two out of courtesy so we can either pass over you or something. Things might get a bit hectic, since multiple people will be in different places at once, but we'll make this work! To join, just send me a PM of who you want to use and what team you want them on!

((And so this begins~ x3 ))

The scientist stood watching the machine in front of him, a clipboard and pen in hand as he recorded any observations he noticed. His dark brown hair fell just short of his shoulders and was kept out of his dark eyes by glasses. He was in his early thirties, although most guessed him to be around twenty-five. According to the label on his lab coat, his last name was Adalfiere. Xaviero Adalfiere, the lead scientist in the Renewable Energy project funded by the Johto government.

The machine in front of him beeped, signaling that it was done with its current subject. Xaviero moved one olive-toned hand to his waist to pluck two old, dented, and scratched up Pokeballs into his palm as he pressed the two buttons, summoning his Tyranitar and Alakazam to assist in the retrieval of the Pokemon locked deep inside the machine. He wasn’t willing to risk any more complications; he had had enough of them when Mew and Mewtwo managed to escape. Protocol had been tightened and he now used two extremely well trained Pokemon to handle the legendary ones as they were removed from the machines and returned to the holding area made of a tempered form of carbon that was impenetrable to the power of Pokemon. The two lab assistants followed obediently behind the Italian man, waiting for orders.

Xaviero opened the latch, revealing the unconscious form of Deoxys. Its body was covered in wires and scars, and its limbs were cuffed down. “Ready?” he called back to the Pokemon. They grunted their affirmatives. “Ezio, use Psychic to lift it out and give it to Deimos. Dei, you know what to do with it.” The Pokemon followed their orders. Xaviero walked behind the Tyranitar as it carried the Pokemon said to have arrived from space.

The three of them, Deimos, Xaviero, and Ezio respectively, walked into a new room, away from the big machine. The walls were lined with holding cells. Within them, Xaviero looked over the weak forms of the various legendaries. The three legendary birds of Kanto were in cages, all of them on the ground. Their heads were on the ground and they were sprawled out across the span of their cells. Across from the birds were the only three Johto legendaries the government managed to track down: Lugia, Entei, and Raikou. They, too, were too weakened to move and lay on the ground. Past them, the cages got larger to accommodate for the size of the Pokemon. Registeel remained in a smaller cell near the Kanto birds, but in the back was the form of Groudon. It was on its side, unable to move as it opened one glowing, gold eye to glare weakly at the human and his Pokemon. Latias was across the way, curled up into a ball with her face distorted in pain.

Ezio,” the man said. The Pokemon knew exactly what to do; he took the key hanging around his neck and placed it into the lock on the empty cell next to where Mew and Mewtwo had once been held. The door opened and the Alakazam moved to allow the Tyranitar placed the unconscious Pokemon on the floor of the cell before Ezio closed it. “Let’s get the next one,” he declared as the Alakazam was locking the cell containing Deoxys. Referring to the clipboard, he added, “We’re taking Latias now,” as if he were merely calling a patient back for their doctor's appointment. With that said, Alakazam opened the door to the cell. He gave Tyranitar the Pokemon, using telekinesis to lift it, and the team returned to the room with the machine.

The Latias weakly opened her eye and let out a small squeak of protest, but it went ignored and the Pokemon was forced to endure the pain and torture of the machine once again. She looked up at Xaviero pitifully, tentatively reaching out telepathically to speak to the man, to plead for her, and the rest of the legendaries, to be released. ~Please--~

She was cut off by a strong Psychic power from Ezio blocking off his trainer’s mind. The Alakazam looked to the Pokemon blankly before continuing to move forward and get the process for placing the Pokemon in the chamber going.

--

Risa blinked at the brightness of the day, raising one hand to shield her eyes from the sun until they adjusted. She looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings of the Johto region curiously, noticing the subtle difference in the color of the sky compared to Aerei, the different taste to the air, and the general difference in people in general. She smiled unsurely to herself, looking down to her Eevee next to her for a sense of familiarity that would keep her calm. “Why did I come here again…?” she mumbled nervously before bending down to pick up Raisa in her arms.

Looking around, she took a deep breath to calm herself, feeling close to a nervous breakdown. She looked around Ekruteak City before noticing a path that led to two towers in the distance. “Let’s explore…” she murmured to Raisa, stroking the fur on the small fox’s head gently as she focused intently on what was in front of her. Two towers, one burnt and one still standing, became her focus.

The Eevee in her arms cooed her agreement, turning to lick her trainer’s cheek once in a soothing way as she allowed herself to be carried instead of walking herself. Raisa merely adjusted herself in her trainer’s arms so she would still be able to see where they were going as her trainer moved forward.

Risa moved forward, focusing on one step at a time, one breath at a time, as she fought to distract herself from being overwhelmed from being alone in a new region. This became easier and easier as she approached the towers and she began to marvel over their majesty, their graceful appearance. Even the burnt one had its appeal, due to the history behind it as well as the structure of the architecture. She looked up, wide eyed, as she finally stopped walking, listening to the chirping and trilling of bird Pokemon.

It’s so… Big…” she mused, tilting her head back to look up to where a wondrous bird once lived. “Five legends, five lives…” she mumbled, tilting her head slightly, loosening her hold on Raisa, allowing the Eevee to leap from her arms and look around as well.

--
Jumbled thoughts, feelings of fear, and pain pulled the Psychic-type out of her light slumber she had slipped into from inside the Burnt Tower. She opened her eyes weakly and peered around, twitching her tail once. She blinked, shaking herself a bit, as if to wake herself up more. Slowly levitating off the ground, she moved to one of the holes burnt through the wall of the tower to look outside. She was hoping to find a berry or two to heal her a bit, as well as possibly find Mewtwo. ~Mewtwo…?~ she reached out telepathically before she peered through the hole, flinching back when she noticed an Eevee staring right at her.

Quickly, she Teleported out of the Eevee’s sight, blinking once as she realized her heart was pounding. She giggled nervously to herself, twitching her tail once behind her. ~Mewtwo, where are you?~ she called out again, Teleporting herself to the rooftop of the tower as she continued her search. From up there, she allowed herself to get a better look at the human below her.

The Eevee was no longer staring up at her, which was a relief, but the Pokemon seemed to want to approach and find her. She shook her head once nervously before glancing around again. ~Mewtwo... This would be a perfect time for you to appear,~ she called out tentatively, searching for the presence of his mind nearby.

((Oh boy, now to fit three posts into one... xD))

"Then, I'm going."

A 17 year old trainer sighed as he spun around on his chair to face the elderly man who had just finished speaking seconds before the previous reply. Unreadable yellow eyes met concerned black eyes for a moment before the elder also sighed. Taking this as a sign, the teen pushed himself onto his feet and turned back to the desk he had been working at as his elder spoke.

"Remember to be careful, Yuki." The man gently reminded at length as he watched his aide shuffle through papers and send certain documents into a PC. "And don't be late for the assessment this time." He added this quickly, a tone of amusement evident, while placing a confident hand on the younger man's shoulder.

"Professor, I am never late," Yuki replied flatly while glancing up at the well-known Pokemon researcher with a look of practiced affection. "I am always on time." Both chuckled, one more humorous than the other, before Yuki patted the new stack of research paper as a mutual reminder to get to work. "I'm off."

Before the dark haired research aide could walk away, Professor Oak wrapped an arm around him in a quick hug then pulled away and settled into the chair. The younger scientist made no attempts to return the hug and instead strode purposefully away to the sliding door that would lead to the backyard.

With the sliding door closed behind him, Yuki looked to the partly cloudy sky as a gentle breeze caught his hair and clothes to play with. He managed three steps before having to stop because a Pokemon cried out upon seeing him. In response to the noise, he turned his attention to the Raichu racing over and patiently waited for the Mouse Pokemon to reach him.

Kneeling down, he held out a hand which his Pokemon quickly reached and placed his head under to earn petting. As the trainer stroked the fine hairs of his Raichu, he commented that it was time to travel once more. The Raichu, hearing this, tweaked its nose as a reply which earned an empty chuckle. "When have we ever stayed home for more than a week, really?"

Apparently there was no argument for that question because the Raichu shrugged its shoulders and grinned up at him. Once the pair nodded in agreement, the teen returned to stand back at his full height and brushed off nonexistent dirt from his clothes when a shadow zipped by over them. No alarm was inspired by Pokemon or trainer, however, and the pair actually waited for the owner of that shadow to descend from the sky to join them.

Soon enough a Pidgeot appeared, flapped its wings to hover in place for a moment, then settled down gently on the ground. Yuki motioned to his Raichu to explain the news before turning to one side muttering "Isha". As the pair chatted, a Gallade suddenly appeared to join the group of three and bowed deeply to the teen. "Gather the others; we're traveling."

Immediately after Yuki had given the order, the Blade Pokemon disappeared to follow directions. Yellow eyes slid to the side and peered over at the Electric Mouse clambering onto the elegant Bird's back before being redirected to stare down at the teen's gloves. In one hand was a Pokegear, opened, and now calling a certain person at a certain place.

~

"- hold on, I've an incoming call." A petite woman interrupted herself as she put up one hand while reaching for her cell phone with the other. Baby blue eyes lit up excitedly as she read the caller ID. Flipping the phone open and hitting Answer, she quickly placed the device next to her ear and squealed, "Hello?"

"Aika, how is your brother? You talking to the boy right now?"

Aika sighed dramatically as she glanced at the videophone screen and smiled thinly at the boy that patiently waited for her to finish whatever she was doing. When the mentioned boy noticed her looking at him, he gave her a heartwarming smile as well as a small, eager wave which caused her own smile to waver. As much as she didn't want it to, she could feel her smile softening to something more affectionate.

"He's doing well and yeah, we're still on a video chat. Do you need him?" The girl twirled tiered auburn locks around a forefinger as she listened to Yuki's instructions while nodding her head. "Okay, sounds like an adventure. Are you ever going to call me just to talk to me?"

A humorless laugh could be heard across the line before ending smoothly and being replaced with an easy reply. Hearing this, however, made Aika pout as she stomped a foot childishly. "You're such a meanie." The 19 year old whined playfully before blushing bright red.

"Only to older women. How about a love song next time?"

Once the call ended, Aika snapped the cell phone shut and tossed the phone over to her shoulder where, conveniently enough, her Blaziken had just appeared and caught it without a word. "He's so~ infuriating!" She fumed before returning her attention to the boy who had been watching her with expectation in those startling blue eyes. Both knew there was only one person she could have been talking about.

"You've a new assignment, Kuzumi."

As soon as Aika had finished relaying the message, Kuzumi's grin widened and his eyes lit up excitedly. "He so owes me this time! What did he say to make you blush this time?" The boy quirked a brow expectingly as the older of the two stuttered for a moment. Of course, by this time, it was only a habit for her to do so; she soon replied. "A play on the meaning of your name, huh!"

He laughed as the girl attempted a scowl at him and, without surprise, failed miserably. Their previous conversation resumed soon after for a few minutes before the pair agreed that they each should be on their way. "I've sent you the usual 3,000- spend it all wisely!"

"I will, I promise! Talk to you next time, Elder Sister!" With the call over and the phone replaced, the light in the boy's eyes dimmed for a few heartbeats before the teen spun around on his round chair in time for a nurse to walk over with a tray of Pokeballs. A short conversation was made between the two before Kuzumi exuded a form of optimistic happiness as he gingerly placed each ball onto his belt.

Soon after, he left the Pokemon Center with cheery departing words and burst out the door with what could have been considered to be unlimited energy. It had been a while since he was last in Ecruteak, let alone in the Johto region, and he hadn't expected an assignment so soon after arriving.

It was just a few days ago that he had fled the Hoenn region after all.

That was old, irrelevant news however, and the teen dismissed the thoughts as he quickly made his way around the Center before leaping up to the red roof of the building. From his new perch, the auburn haired teen scanned his surroundings with keen eyes. "Let's see, let's see..." He muttered to himself as a thoughtful smile touched his lips; there wasn't much to see from his current position.

Startling blue eyes strayed over to the two towers and an idea came to mind as he tilted his head back to peer up at the very top of one of the towers. "Let's see how much of the land I can see from there!" So saying, Kuzumi leapt off the roof, effectively scaring a few passersby below, while plucking a Pokeball of his belt and smoothly tossing it up to release his closest Pokemon, an Umbreon.

Just as he expected, he landed lightly on his feet right beside the Moonlight Pokemon and the pair dashed forward as if the Pokemon had known exactly where the trainer wanted to go. Their current destination was to be the Burnt Tower which they would climb to the top and scan the horizons. If this proved to not be high enough or stable enough, then they would move to the other tower and stay there until they were discovered.

~

~What is it now, Mew?~ Mewtwo called out from his hiding place in a shadowed corner of the floor he had stationed himself. The Genetic Pokemon was rather irritable with his original, though the feeling only went so far to the point that Mew was always finding trouble when they least needed it. Other than that temporary mood, Mewtwo actually respected the Pokemon he was cloned from.

This was how, after all, they had unluckily found themselves captured. Admittedly he was also at fault as well for he proved too weak to protect himself and the pinker of the two properly at the time, but he would not fail again. This time he would make sure neither of them were captured and forced to undergo that torture.

Warily the cloned Pokemon lifted his head, purple eyes darting about, as he searched the grounds for Mew using his psychic powers. The moment he sensed her, Mewtwo Teleported onto the rooftop to settle beside her and glanced at her expectingly. ~What makes this time the perfect time?~

Mewtwo winced slightly at the movement he had made before stretching his body slowly. His limbs were all stiff, his mind was still partially sluggish from all he had been put through, and he was exhausted in both mind and body. If there was trouble, however, he would ignore these minor bothers to protect Mew. It was his self-proclaimed duty to protect the New Species Pokemon.

Purple eyes glanced down and a wave of anger escaped him through the telepathic connection before he disconnected briefly. Once he managed to get a handle on his emotions, he allowed his mind to touch Mew's once more and let out an exasperated sigh. Mewtwo prodded very softly at the latter's mind as he lifted a hand and pointed with a circular digit at the male that was making rapid progress in their direction.

~Humans.~

(Ok, let's do this *Snap fingers*)

Sonny looked up to the perfectly blue sky above the mountain, feeling the breeze passing by. He had arrived at Johto some time ago, and while he didn't had nothing better to do - His parents had moved there, but were at work most of the time, so he wasn't going to see them that often - why not explore a bit? That was how he got there: Blackthorn City, in the middle of the mountains, and home of the last gym of the Johto Region

Which, to be fair, was so cool it wasn't even funny.

"This is awesome" Said the teen, grinning as he looked inside the Gym,but covering his face when he felt the sudden burst of heat the lava on the Gym's bottom caused. "Wow, the guys here in Johto really know how to put up a show" Mused the black-haired adolescent, walking to the side and leaning his back against the wall. The man in front of the statues raised his eyes to look at him, and raised an eyebrow.

"Hey there, champ-to-be. Came here to challenge the gym? Want some tips?" Asked the man, already taking his breath to start talking about the gym, before Sonny raised his hands in a "no" signal

" Nah, I'm not here to challenge the gym...yet. But hey, I was reading the sign out there. How is this "Clair"?" Asked him, curious " This is the last gym in Johto, right? So she's the strongest leader?

"Why, yes" Agreed the man "She's the strongest trainer in all Blackthorn. About how she is...eh...Well, it's not my job to talk about her, but she's a bit...Hard to deal with. She has a lot of pride, you see" Said the man, looking around as if he was expecting Clair to suddenly pop out of nowhere and scold at him for talking about her.

"Uh, right" Said Sonny. He looked to the back of the gym, expecting to see a lonely figure on the back, but instead....Nothing?

"Hey, where is she?" Asked him, frowning.

"I think she went to the Indigo Plateau. There was some havoc around lately....Well, some havoc breaking around two or three regions beyond Johto, she must have went there to see what is being done about."

"Havoc?" Asked Sonny, curious. The man leaned forward, happy to chat with someone while there was no challengers coming.

"Yes, you see. I don't know what happened, but some time ago at Goldenrod there was this night when all hell broke loose and..." Started the man, as Sonny leaned forward, eager to hear more.

"This is bullshit."

Azure sighed, frustrated, as he walked through Goldenrod, looking around. The young man adjusted his hat as he stopped by a bench, sitting down and reading through a small notes block that he had with him. He had arrived at the big city some days ago when all hell broke loose. He tried to discover what happened, after all, it was his job. And guess what? No one knew shit.

"A whole freaking city, and no one knows anything interesting" Sighed him. "Or whatever caused this was really good at hiding....Or the government is making sure no one knows anything, uh" he started to mutter to himself, an habit that he had for some time now. It was an efficient and better way to keep track of your train of tought without having to write it down. "Tch, I'm starting a conspiracy theory. Get back in your mind, Skell " Theyoung man stood up and started to walk, tilting his detective-like hat in front of his eyes to don't get disturbed by the sun "Ok, time to get serious. Let's find some information where it can really be found."

The young man started to walk to a more....obscure part of the city. It was part of his "job" getting information - Well, at least, he considered it his job. He liked to think of himself as a detective, and truth to be told, he was good. When someone came over to him with an assignment, he did what he could to find out, and most times, suceeded. Right now it was plainly for the sake of ego, but no one gets far without curiosity, right?

After some walking, he opened a door toa certain put, taking his hat off. His brown hair was a bit weird-looking since he was wearing the hat for quite a long time, but he shrughed it off. The man walked up to the counter, sitting down and ordering a drink. When the barman walked away, Azure grinned faintly and looked to the man he had on his side.

"Howdy Glenn." Said Azure calmly "How's it going?"

"Pretty fine." Said the other man, taking a drink from a glass of his own. He was roughly twice the size of the younger man, tan-skinned and with piercing black eyes. He snapped his neck, sighed and looked to Azure again "What do you want now, kid?"

"I would prefer to be called by my name, or something less diminutive if you don't mind" Said Azure

"Fine. What do you want, Skell?"

"Way better. What I want, you ask? The only reason I come to this end-of-the-world place is for information." The younger man grinned, a smile of someone who knew the world couldn't do much against him. He leaned forward. "The havoc that happened here some time ago. What, exactly, was that? Your thick skull probably couldn't absorb much things, but you have good ears. I'll buy you a drink, if you tell me something I don't know yet."

"This detective complex is gonna get you killed someday, kid. I didn't heard much, but there's this feeling on the back of my head that says it's not something to be messed with. Just let it slip away."

"Where's the fun on that?"

(xD *epically poses beside Sonny*)

Liz lept off of Flutter's back as the bird pokemon landed in front of the Burnt Tower. She had arrived out of pure curiosity after hearing something about missing legendaries. She wanted to know what was happening. She figured her best friend, Sonny, was thinking the same thing, but she had no idea if he was here too. She hoped he was, though, for she didn't like doing things like this on her own.

She petted Flutter affectionately, "Good job, girl. Can't believe you flew me here all the way from Aerei, you must be tired. Here, have some rest, I'll take you by the Pokemon Center soon." She said, returning Flutter after hugging her. She let out Addy (*wince*) and petted him on the head. He growled playfully, but soon stopped as his ears perked up and he looked around.

Liz followed his gaze and at the same time their eyes found a young man. Liz broke into a smile as she saw her old friend. She hadn't seen him in a long time, since their battle so long ago. She wondered if he even remembered her. She shrugged, maybe he could help her out. She cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted, "Kuzumi!"

Addy growled at the boy, but Liz just shushed him. He growled lightly at her but she just rolled her eyes and squinted up at Kuzumi, "What are you doing up there anyways?" She said, then facepalmed in realizing he was probably trying to avoid being caught. "I am such an idiot." She muttered.

------

Nyra sighed as she stepped out of the shadows, running a hand through her hair. Why the heck had she decided to come here, of all places? She looked over at her Mightyena, who glared at her, yet stayed loyally by her side. She petted him absentmindedly and he stiffened, but didn't snap at her like he wanted to. Umbra had let her take off to find a region to learn about and annoy the heck out of, so she'd accepted. Little did she know there was already an evil that was looming over this region like a storm cloud.

(does this white hurt your eyes? If so, I'll change it) "Good boy." She said, smirking. "Now, let's see what there is to do around here. Not sure why I ended up here at Blackthorn City, but I just came here for the heck of it."

She walked through the town, ignoring the frightened looks she got from others. She heard mutters of "Woh..that's a scary pokemon. Where did it come from?" and "She looks pretty shady"

Smirking still, she went towards the pokemon center when she heard a familiar voice. Her smirk widened. Time to have some fun.

Nah, I'm not here to challenge the gym yet...."

She rubbed her hands together, hiding behind the side wall of the gym, hearing their conversation. Her eyes brightened at their conversation. She stepped out from behind the wall, walking up to Sonny and ruffling his hair. "What valuable information for me to use." She said icily, chuckling. "Fancy me seeing you here. Maybe this time I'll take more that just 200AD." She winked.

(ack....*facedesk* as usual, I have the shortest post...and the least interesting...)

O amor é o maior evento da vida; a única coisa pela qual vale a pena viver
A rush of wind whipped through the long, bronze hair of the nineteen year old girl. Her hair blocked her vision on either side in time with the ocean waves, but that didn’t mind the girl much since crystal blue eyes were closed. Each calming wave soothed her emotions in ways nothing else possibly could and that was good enough for her.

Amy took a deep breath, inhaling the salty sweet air of the Cianwood beach, and allowed memories to flood her mind. It was then she realized how long it had been since she actually stopped to appreciate all of life’s little things. How lucky she was to be alive. “You enjoying yourself, Xiena?” she asked, peeking from the corner of her eye, smiling.

Xiena purred into her trainer’s hand, rubbing her head slowly against the palm. “Nine nine,” the fox responded calmly. Her trainer took note of how mature the Poke’mon had become over the course of their journey. Hardly ever had she chased the smell of food, pounced on strangers, or even ignored orders of any kind. Not even in battle. Actually, they were quite in-sync in whatever they did.

Her coat dripped from the recent wave crashing into the sand just ahead of them, and people strolling along in the back watched in confusion as Xiena enjoyed the water. Her trainer ran fingers through the fluffy fur on her head, earning a louder purr in return. “What do you say to visiting the Whirl Islands where Lugia lives during our vacation?” Amy suggested as she unrolled a map of Johto to point at said location.

With a vigorous nod, Xiena agreed, happy about getting to sail across the vast waters without having to share a boat with a thousand strangers. It would be just the team. Her mood shifted towards annoyed when two strangers holding hands walked up to her girl with not-so-happy expressions.

The man spoke first, “Excuse me, but did you say you were wanting to go to the Whirl Islands?” When Amy nodded, the woman continued, “I wouldn’t go there if I were you. I heard it’s really dangerous there now.”

“It’s dangerous? Well, I’ve heard about the whirlpools surrounding the place, but I’m sure my Blastoise can get us through just fine,” Amy told them in thinking of riding on Skii’s back to get there. She was sure he could zoom through the water fast enough to avoid getting sucked in by the whirlpools.

The woman shook her head. “I mean ever since Lugia left his domain, the Islands have been locked away by fierce waves and stormy clouds.” She hugged herself at the thought, her husband wrapping his arms lovingly around her to let her know she was safe.

Amy tried to look into the background and ignore the obvious touchy love of this couple. “Why would he leave his home? Aren’t the Legends somehow bound to their respective places?” It didn’t sound right for the Legendary Bird to just up and fly away. There has to be some other force to force him to leave if this bad stuff kept tourists away.

“I heard he was captured by bad guys,” the man whispered to Amy, trying not to draw a crowd around them. His wife added after a gulp, “You should go see the Kimono Sisters up in Ecruteak City. If I remember correctly, they have an annual dance for Lugia and may have some clue as to where he’s gone.” She grabbed the man’s hand, turning to walk away along the edge of the beach.

“I hope we’ve helped,” he said, following her lead to continue their walk.

Amy bowed slightly, thanking them, then looked to her Poke’mon. “Well, there goes our vacation.” Xiena yipped once and licked her girl’s face. She was ready to get back to traveling now that she’s had her fun in the water. The teen giggled at the lick, nodding at the fox. “We better get going if we want to make it by dinnertime.”

From a red and white Poke’Ball came forth an oddly-coloured Blastoise, splashing loudly in a deeper part of the ocean. A huge wave threatened to drench Amy, its height a frightening tower that could possibly wash her out to where Skii bobbed carelessly. But, Xiena reacted with a seering Flamethrower, evaporating most of the salt water so only a short sprinkling rained over her trainer.

The power of the flame and the sprinkle made Amy giggle again. Skii hugged her from behind with a thunderous “Blaaaaaaast!” before lying on his stomach for her to climb on. “Haha! Oh, Skii! We are going to a place called Ecruteak next,” she ordered, tracing a path from Cianwood to their destination with a finger.

“Blaaaaaast!” he bellowed, rocketing through the water with Amy and Xiena sitting on his back.

A totally relaxed mother kicked her feet up onto the recently-cleaned coffee table after plopping herself onto the rosy couch. Her body sank slowly into the couch, calves now on the edge of the table with legs angled up. A yawn passed her lips. Things had most certainly slowed down ever since her daughter left home for a distant land, which seemed many years ago. Cooking and cleaning was lonely and coming home from work didn’t make her as happy as it once did.

Things used to be so much fun to do everyday, even if it was repetitive. As long as mother and daughter were together each day, nothing ever got boring or tiring, and she truly missed that. Before Hannah could close her eyes to nap, a weight pushed on the stomach and made her jolt back to alertness. “Oh, it’s only you,” she chuckled.

“Mrow,” Glameow purred when her owner scratched between the shoulder blades. Her paws fiddled with Hannah’s curled, brown hair, and she looked into her golden eyes in hunger. “Mrooooow,” she told her owner as though Hannah was the cat.

Hannah rolled her eyes and grinned. “You’re hungry all the time, aren’t you? I guess I should feed you something on my day off,” she teased. Mittens watched in amusement as her slave fetched her a warm bowl of premium wet cat food, precisely one cup, with one small cube of salmon on the very top.

“Here you go ya furball.” The woman left a cat dish at the edge of the kitchen where the wooden floor ended and the fancy carpeting began. With a sigh, she stepped outside the front door to stare lazily into the Cerulean sky. She wondered how her baby girl was doing by herself. Or maybe she had found friends to travel with within these past two years.

Just then, the wind picked up strong enough for Hannah to hold her dress down so it would reveal her undergarments. That would have been embarrassing even for her. Then, a faint cry caught her ear, head snapping to the left almost instantly, eyes widening.

No, it was just her imagination. Both rain and sunshine were needed to make a rainbow…even if the rainbow was in the form of a glowing bird. Nope, imagination. People can’t just see a Legendary Poke’mon out of nowhere. There needs to be a reason for them to appear to be able to let normal humans see a glimpse of them.

Or, it could be a sign that she must be a part of something life-changing? Nah, a vacation was in order now that she had caught herself imagining Legends showing up near her home. “Mittens!” Hannah called through the open door while heading back inside. “Put your bowl in the sink because we’re going on a vacation!”

Hannah dug around in a trunk from under her bed for a large, single-strap bookbag containing a set of six Poke’Balls, a few other items, her phone, and a second set of clothes in case they were needed. She headed back outside after making sure all windows were shut, grabbing her white dress hat, and calling her work to inform them of her leave. They took it well enough.

She called forth her Pidgeot from her Ball out near Cerulean Cape, where her daughter spent a lot of time playing with her Vulpix. A slight pang gripped her heart before she shook it off, stroking Plume’s wing feathers. “You’re going to take me to Goldenrod City today. I trust you remember where that is,” she instructed in a firm voice. “I haven’t played to slots in a while and I could use a break from the easy life.”

Plume flapped her wings once in affirmation, and then allowed her trainer to settle on her back and have Mittens curl up on her head comfortably. In a single hop from the cliff, Plume soared off in the direction of Goldenrod.

Hannah winced as her legs started to cramp up in the prolonged fetal position. Being so high in the air was relaxing at first, but then boredom set in about halfway, then the pain of sitting still for too long poked at her knees. Gah, she needed to stretch. “Are we there yet?” she asked her Bird Poke’mon impatiently.

After a few more minutes of ignoring her trainer’s constant questions of time, Plume landed flawlessly just outside the gates of their destination, Hannah and Mittens sliding off her back to greet solid ground. She was returned to her Ball promptly.

“You take a good rest,” Hannah said, stretching as far as she could with her legs and arms to make sure she didn’t walk with a weird cramp. The two strolled into the City, watching lights flash and blink, looking out for the Casino building. Well, Hannah was, Mittens was looking out for a food joint they could stop at to sample different things.

A mix of strange scents all invaded Glameow’s nose, making her very curious to its origin. She hadn’t smelled any of those things before, which was weird because she loved exploring everything. She ran ahead in pursuit of the scent and ended up in front of a worn-down building with a rusted steel door. Mittens scratched at the door and touched her own nose to tell her owner they should go inside to check the smell out.

“Do you smell something in there?” Hannah grinned widely after staring at the door for a few seconds. A whole new personality seemed to overtake her want of gambling to draw her closer to the danger that could be lying on the other side of this suspicious door. “Let’s check it out,” she agreed, closing the door behind them with an annoying creek.

As soon as the previous procedure was completed with Latias as well, Xaviero and his two Pokemon brought the unconscious form of the legendary back into her holding cell. The Pokemon was haphazardly placed and locked into the cell and ignored by the scientist as he walked out, face blank as he exited the room.

Once outside, he found himself moving toward his office absentmindedly; his Pokemon both separating to go their own ways as he entered the small, dimly lit room. Nearly black eyes glanced around as he approached the desk, landing on the form of a sleeping Houndoom.

The Pokemon cracked open one crimson eye, looking at her trainer, and lifted her head, growling a soft greeting to Xaviero as she rose to her feet. With one swish of her tail, she stretched out in an almost catlike fashion and lightly padded over to the scientist, sitting right next to his chair.

Hanabi,” Xaviero greeted, placing his hand atop her head and scratching the base of her horns affectionately, a tiny smile creeping across his lips as his eyes softened. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes, as he allowed himself to fall into his chair, removing his hand from Hanabi’s head and placing his own in his palms. Massaging his temples, he frowned slightly, mentally going over plans for how the rest of his day was going to go. Perhaps it was a bad idea to fire all of the aids that had been responsible for the mistakes leading to their current situation.

Xaviero’s reverie was interrupted, however, by a guttural growl reverberating from Hanabi. Her eyes were locked onto the door to Xaviero’s office, a snarl baring her fangs as she let out the warning sound. She rose to her feet, slipping silently out of the door and flicking her tail angrily as she went to investigate.

Xaviero remained in his position, opening his eyes and looking at the Pokemon, watching from over the rims of his glasses as the blurry form of Hanabi left him alone in the office.

Behind the scientist, his Alakazam appeared out of nowhere, having Teleported from somewhere in the depths of his lab. The Pokemon touched his trainer’s mind, letting a feeling of danger and a quick flashing image of a human at the entrance. This deepened Xaviero’s frown and caused the scientist to stand, eyes falling on Ezio’s.

Take me there,” he commanded quietly.
Ezio reacted instantly, closing his eyes and focusing. Both he and his trainer glistened before growing insubstantial and finally vanishing, only to reappear behind a woman and her Glameow.

Xaviero looked at the woman’s back, frowning. He could hear Hanabi growling on the other side of the door. “And you are?
--

Risa flinched as she heard a sudden loud voice, a squeak of surprise escaping her lips as she spun around, only to see not one, but two people, an Umbreon, and a Growlithe. She frowned, brown eyes glancing around as she looked for her own Eevee.

Her Pokemon was looking up at the Burnt Tower, staring at what seemed like nothing. “Rai…?” she murmured, eyes flitting from the humans to her Eevee almost frantically. She knelt down, waiting for the Evolution Pokemon to slowly pad her way to Risa.

Raisa blinked and looked to her trainer before approaching her, glancing over her shoulder at the spot on the tower for a moment before flicking her tail and sitting next to the girl. She flicked one ear and looked to the Umbreon she saw. With a grin, she glanced to her trainer, tempted to approach the Dark-type.

Risa looked down at her Pokemon and lifted the Eevee, holding her close and snuggling her face into the fur in an almost childish way as she took a deep breath. It was time to approach these people, be brave, and branch out to others. Especially since she was now in Johto and knew nobody. Sighing as she exhaled, she slowly lowered Raisa to the ground and took a tentative step forward.

With her heart pounding, she smiled nervously, moving her hand to brush a stray strand of hair away from her face and brown eyes. She looked down, feeling relief to see her Pokemon loyally following her every step, even though the Eevee's eyes remained locked on the Umbreon. As she drew closer to Liz, she waved sheepishly before folding her hands behind her back and averting her eyes. "H-hi... I'm Risa..." she managed to get out, looking curiously at the two that Liz had just addressed before calling herself an idiot.

Brown eyes turned back to Liz as she smiled softly before looking back down to Raisa nervously. "This is Rai... Um... Raisa is her full name..." she added, wincing slightly as she stumbled over her words. Dipping her head slightly, she spoke again, this time faster than before. "I-I'm sorry, I'm not from around here and I'm really nervous..." She shook her head a bit before frowning, pale cheeks tinged red in her embarrassment. "I'm sorry..." she repeated as she shook her head. "Could we try this again...? I'm Risa, I'm from Aerei... It's near Hoenn, if you've never heard of it."

The entire time she spoke, her voice was quiet and the words came out quickly. Most of the time, she didn't look at Liz, but looked to either Rai or around the area. "Do... You know that boy?" she inquired, remembering the teen and his Umbreon that had darted across the clearing.

--
Mew blinked at the sudden telepathic contact of Mewtwo, smiling softly and eyes closed as a sigh of relief escaped her. Her tail swished once behind her and blue eyes opened once more, looking up with a sort of affection for her clone. She dipped her head ever so slightly at his one word reply, eyes drifting slowly to the hole once more.

Mew…” ~The Eevee saw me…~ She levitated up slowly, approaching Mewtwo until she wrapped herself around his neck, head looking over one shoulder and her tail draped over his other one. She stayed there for a moment, eyes closing as the familiar presence of Mewtwo’s mind calmed and gave her courage. When her eyes opened, they once more held their normal cheeriness and she smiled, sliding off of her perch and levitating at Mewtwo’s eye level.

The New Species Pokemon twitched her tail, drifting closer to the hole before suddenly vanishing, a smile on her confident lips as she looked outside. She blinked, a bit of stray surprise and fear drifting over their telepathic connection. There were three people there now? And a Dark-type… She shook herself slightly, floating back a few feet before letting herself become visible once more.

Mew blinked, looking up at Mewtwo once more. ~We’ve been discovered…~ Her tail twitched as she looked up solemnly before suddenly brightening up, her ever-present inherent trust in humans making itself known. ~Maybe we can trust them?~ “Mew…” She looked back to the hole she had used to watch them, eyes bright as they flitted back to Mewtwo.

She levitated up once more, a grin on her face as she began glowing a faint white, before appearing as a Pidgey in front of Mewtwo. ~They might be able to help us…~ She glanced down, shuddering slightly as her mind drifted back briefly to the torture she was forced to endure and the rest of the legends that remained trapped in the hands of those horrible, corrupted humans. When she looked back up, she readjusted her wings and fluttered up to land on Mewtwo’s shoulder, looking at him sadly. ~We have to save them…~ The thought wasn’t directed at Mewtwo in particular, but merely her hardening her resolve. ~They can’t be made to suffer anymore!~ With that in mind, she spread her wings and flew from her perch and toward the hole in the wall. As she flew, she flinched slightly, seeing the humans beneath her and her resolve weakened. She almost faltered, but landed on a branch near the humans, heart pounding, as she watched over the three and their Pokemon, judging whether or not they would be trustworthy.

((Brilliant, characters are using the same color. xD))

Aeneas, mid-run, had leapt onto his trainer's shoulders seconds before the teen leapt from his position on the ground and towards the Burnt Tower. He hadn't even gotten past the first floor when he heard someone shout his name. Distracted, he looked away from his destination, feeling the height drop as he did so, and stuck out his arms and legs. It was a good thing he did, too, because he practically slammed into the side of the Burnt Tower and was clinging rather carelessly to the second floor wall as his eyes searched the ground.

It must have been the Growlithe at her side, because Kuzumi's gaze slid over Liz once before he realized that the girl down there was actually Liz. Huge grin on his features, he listened as she questioned what he was doing on the side of the tower and almost started to shout back in reply when someone else made an appearance.

Curious to the conversation, Risa's nervous actions being quite obvious to the teen as he'd seen those particular movements before, the martial artist muttered an apology to Aeneas for taking him up there only to return to solid ground. The Umbreon didn't mind, apparently, and so the trainer waited to catch his breath for a moment before pushing off to leap back into the air.

As the wind whistled by his ears and ruffled his already standing hair significantly, the teen's grin grew and he spread his arms out in his excitement at being so high without having his safety guaranteed. It always felt good to have nothing keeping a person bound to something, and the freedom he felt while being in mid air was what felt best to him. To emphasize this a bit, he twisted his body slightly which allowed him to twirl in the air.

By doing this, he noticed a Pidgey land nearby the two trainers he was heading to and startling blue eyes lit up with amusement. Eventually he landed near the two girls, his landing lighter than one without training would have expected based on the height, and allowed his Umbreon to slip off his shoulders. Apparently they were just in time to hear Risa’s question about him.

She must know me if she nearly blew my cover!” Kuzumi laughed cheerily, not a trace of ill-will in his light tone. “I’m Kuzumi and this is Aeneas.” He introduced casually and what one would think jokingly, as if none of them were strangers and actually good friends, while gesturing down to his Moonlight Pokemon.

I was trying to get a better look around the place and needed a higher perch to do so. It’s been a while since I was last here so I wanted to remind myself what the scenery was. What brings you two here?

While Kuzumi was talking, Aeneas nodded proudly to the Growlithe and then to the Eevee before inquiring about their day so far, what they had been up to until now, and if they were enjoying their time in Johto. Just like his trainer, the Umbreon was treating the others as if they were all old friends and were just now reuniting.

'You'll find what you're looking for in Goldenrod City. Playing another game of chess?'

Yuki was sitting on a bench, a soft breeze ruffling his dark brown hair a bit, as he disinterestedly held a cup of iced coffee in one hand and a profile in his other. The teen was thinking about those words a close 'friend' had spoken during their brief time together as he watched the scene unfold before him. A woman and her Glameow had apparently taken quite an interest with the door that held his own interest, though it was obviously for a different reason.

'Should you really be biding your time like this? Your method at the game is too sporadic to be safe.'

Moving to take a sip of the coffee, the teen scowled before the cup could reach his lips and put the beverage beside him on the bench. He didn't drink coffee and the movement had been careless. Eyes skimming over the page stapled onto the front of the portfolio for the umpteenth time, the teen decided that he would make his move to meet his target before he heard a new voice.

'With your luck, the first pawn will move forward and into your reach on the first move!'

Yellow eyes glancing up, Yuki allowed himself an empty smile as the man he was going to approach made an appearance. Luck indeed, though there seemed to be a second piece in play. Slowly getting to his feet, the teenager carefully picked the iced coffee back up and strode over to observe the commotion more closely. The boy would have to if he wanted to begin the game.

'Try not to get a "Check!" on your first turn, Mlad.'

"Curious, no doubt." The 17-year-old announced flatly as he peered towards the Alakazam only to nod in greeting and respect at the Pokemon if it were to look his way. To have the Psychic- type put a person in a powerful position, Psychic Pokemon generally ideal when in situations of power, and the aid offhandedly gave props to Xaviero. Remembering the profile in his right hand, the teen smoothly removed it from visible existence, no doubt sent back into his PC, and he silently thanked CJ for giving him the information he wanted. The teen could just imagine CJ's response.

'One less step to repaying my debts!'

Absently the teen swirled the iced coffee in hand, debating wasting it by throwing it away or ignoring his distaste for the substance and drinking it. No, drinking it would definitely not be an option for him. Why did he have it despite his dislike for the stuff? CJ gave it to him and he couldn't refuse. With a sigh, the youth turned his apathetic attention to the scientist and softly inquired: "Isn't it common courtesy to introduce yourself before asking another?"

~

~It saw you.~ Mewtwo repeated, strained calmness evident in his telepathic voice, as he glanced sharply at Mew. The strain disappeared, however, as a real wave of calm washed over him through the telepathic connection and he gingerly placed a hand on Mew's head before quickly removing it as the smaller Pokemon made to move away after reopening blue eyes.

It was when the pinker of the two disappeared from visible view that Mewtwo became alert and suspicious of those humans- not because they could be dangerous, humans were naturally dangerous creatures, but because Mew was more than likely getting inane ideas in her head. ~Mew...~

Once again there was a strain as he spoke his original's name. There were mixed feelings, naturally, about that name and he actually lost his train of thought as he found himself struggling to refrain from attacking the humans then and there. They could be goons of Giovanni in disguise, they could be goons of that crazed scientist disguised, they could be fools thinking that they're going to get lucky today.

But no, this was a tangant. Placing a hand to his face and rubbing his temples as he detached himself from the ever-so-tempting thought, he offhandedly warned his counterpart to not do anything stupid. Of course his words came too late as Mew reported that they've already been discovered.

Purple eyes flashing dangerously, he was about to announce that they were leaving when he realized the New Species Pokemon had already Transformed into another Pokemon and approached the humans. ~Mew,~ He hissed, his telepathic voice quiet as if the trainers and their Pokemon would hear him. ~Stop fooling around!~

These aren't humans he trusted. Two humans, only two humans, were humans that he trusted to an extent. They gave him no problems, they couldn't, for a while had given him a purpose. Now he was with Mew and he had a new purpose. Now his purpose was to protect his and Mew's life and to save the other legendaries.

Now if Mew would just stop approaching humans, well, that would certainly make fulfilling his purpose easier. ~If they discover you and attack, we may not escape this time.~

((That's all I've got. 8D' Still experimenting with Mewtwo as you can see... A little bit of anime, a little bit of manga, and then a touch of my own view of him. -shrugs- Work in progress character.))

"Wow. You're serious?"

"I'm afraid yes" Said the gym worker, nodding

"Wow, and I tought Aerei had problems."

"Excuse me?"

"Ah" Sonny blinked, realizing that he was mostly thinking aloud now "Sorry, don't mind me, I'm talking from where I am. It's an island close to Hoenn, but anyway. Thanks for the chat, I think I'll--"

He froze when he felt someone ruffling his hair and spinned on his heels quickly, seeing Nyra winking coldly. He raised an eyebrow and stared at the Umbran for some seconds

"Wait, and you ar-- Ah. You." He took some seconds to remember who she was at all. He raised an eyebrow at her for one more second when she said about stealing more this time. He felt like laughing a bit, but then he just shrughed.

"Yeah, good luck with that, them. Anyway" He turned back to the man at the gym, promptly and perfectly ignoring Nyra's existance from that point on " Thanks for the chat. Think it's ok if I go to Goldenrod to find out what's going on?"

"Well...." Mused the man, looking from Nyra to Sonny with confused eyes before shrughing "I think it's ok? But Goldenrod is a big city, and everyone there is kinda stressed. Maybe you should ask in the new building they have there, but, uh, don't get your hopes too high."

"Got it" Said the boy "Thanks man, see you later" He turned back, looked at Nyra, tilting his head to the side, clearly wondering why she was still there. Then he shrughed, grinned sarcastically at her - He was still finding it kinda funny how she tought she was all mighty and bad - and left the gym, calmly walking to the middle of the city, planning on calling Arya out once he was there so she could fly him to Goldenrod or someplace nearby. If no one stopped him on the way, that is.

Azure walked through the rotten, old alleys that permeated Goldenrod city, making his way to a certain place. Glenn didn't knew anything specifically, but he knew these streets and what was in them. And a certain localization brought Azure's attention to it.

"God, I love my job" Mused him as he walked, feeling his heartbeat raising, as a strange thrill zapped through his body. He knew he shouldn't be looking on things like this, but discovering misteries, putting himself into dangerous situations was what made him felt alive. As he walked, he plucked a pokeball and clicked it, releasing a castform. The small cloud-like pokemon blinked, floating after it's master with a confused air.

"Ais, we're looking for information." Mused him as they turned on another alley, undistinguible from any other; but he walked with the confidence of a man who know where he's going. "Float high up, keep following me. If you see any danger approaching, Rain Dance, if not, keep an eye on what I can't, and try to hear what I can't. Got it?" He smiled as the Castform nodded, quickly floating high up, her forms becoming more foggy and that bit less distinguible. She didn't needed to go that high; if she was only slightly above a building, anyone who looked to her against the blue sky would assume it was just a cloud. A more attent observer would notice that it was, in fact, a pokemon, but people see what they expect to. Most people don't expect a castform peeking up to them from the sky.

"We must be getting close now..." Tough Azure to himself, turning on one last alley. He remembered the directions, and if Glenn's information was right, that last curve would be the last. He stopped, gave himself a moment for his heartbeat to get normal again, and casually started to walk. If he found someone coming out of that alley as he tried to get in, he didn't wanted to seem suspect; as he was now, if looked like he was just lost, or just liked walking around. He surely had the face of someone who hanged around these places a lot, even more since this place inspecial weren't that deep in the city's bad side. Just a bit uncommon.

As he started to approach, looking as "inocent bystander" as he could, he stopped when he heard voices coming from there. "Let's check it out - pause - And you are? - pause - Isn't it common courtesy...."

He raised an eyebrow, and stopped, leaning himself against the side of the wall and distractedly looking forward; one could just assume he was or waiting for someone, or just plan doing nothing. But he was paying attention to more sounds that came from the alley, despite not looking like it. From above, Ais floated above, moving with the breeze, disfarcing herself as best as she could, looking down with curiosity to the three people in there, perfectly hidden in plain sight.

(Where....Where is that door located, by the way? I'm confused, so I just made up where I tought it would be >>)

Liz jumped slightly and gasped when the girl started talking to her, and she placed her hand over her heart, smiling shyly. "I'm sorry you scared me. I'm Liz!" She said cheerfully, picking up a reluctant Addy as he glared at the girl. "This fur-ball is Addy."

She paused and looked down at the Eevee, her eyes lighting up. "Oh my gosh isn't that the cutest Eevee I've ever seen!" She gushed out, reaching down to pet the small fox pokemon, completely unaware that it may be afraid of her. She seemed to not notice Risa's stuttering and was acting as cheerful as if this girl was her close friend. When she straightened up, she set Addy down and offered her hand for Risa to shake. "Oh and I live in Aerei too! Great place, don't you think? So what are you doing he-"

She stopped her babbling suddenly as she saw Kuzumi jump down from the building. She held back a scream and gasped as he fell. When he landed she rushed forward with big eyes, "You just....that....You just jumped off a building!"

She shook her head in amazement, then turned to Risa. "But anyways, yes Risa, I know him. We battled a time or two back in Aerei. I haven't seen him in a long time though!"

She turned back to Kuzumi and hugged him, smiling "Why on earth would you climb a building to scope out the city? And I'm here because I heard something strange was going on here and I wanted to check it out. Something about legendar-."

Liz suddenly stopped mid-sentence as she saw a Pidgey land in a tree nearby. It looked to be observing them. Odd...it had blue eyes...

Liz shook her head and turned back to her friends. She smiled and ran a hand through her hair, eyes trained on Risa, "So what brought you here?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nyra glared at Sonny, steaming, yet for once she said nothing and turned on her heel, walking off with her Mightyena. Though I'm sure you can tell she didn't just walk off for no reason. She was taking a scenic route to Goldenrod City.

If Sonny's going there for some case about stolen legendaries, it'll be a load more fun than hanging around here. Plus there's something intriquing about a bunch of weak legendaries just laying around up for grabs. I could get a serious promotion in Umbra because of this...or maybe take the legends for myself and be the strongest f*ing trainer ever...

She smiled mischieveously at this. It would be a piece of cake following the goody-two-shoes twirps around, hiding in the shadows as they do all the dirty work taking out hte 'bad guys' while she sneaks in and takes the goods. This was turning out to be a very interesting vacation for Nyra.

Nyra kept Shadow by her side as she walked a long way to Goldenrod. As she entered the town she looked up at all of the buildings and people everywhere. A lot, as usual, gave her nervous glances and such, due to her cold demeanor, not to mention the big lurking wolf at her side. She petted him on the head and he growled as she returned him into his ball. She didn't think it wise to scare everyone off...yet.

For now she'd wait until something fun happened, like her seeing some twerp she could pick on or use to her advantage, so she sat around on a bench and watched the people go by.

O amor é o maior evento da vida; a única coisa pela qual vale a pena viver
----------------

Drifting lazily across the silent sea relaxed Amy to almost fall asleep atop Skii's back. A small flock of six Wingull crowed to each other in conversation, and one even included Skii with a question about his travels. He informed the bird of the mission to carry his human over the waters to a place called Ecruteak to meet Kimono girls. They were curious as to why the Legend of Whirl Islands had left his domain.

The Wingull contemplated this for a moment before gliding over to the rest of the flock. None of them had any idea about this, except for one that panically squawked at the mention of it. Memory of his witness also triggered emotions felt at the time, flying around in a jerky fashion, then he turned to the three travelers. Apparently, men with strange smells captured Lugia and took his away.

A female Water Bird tilted her gliding path directly towards the story-teller, slapping him with the end of her wing. Why had he not mentioned this before?! The two squabbled at each other angrily, much to the Ninetales' amusement.

Xiena laid across Skii's back, curled around her trainer to be used as a comfy pillow, so there wasn't much room to move about. Watching the flock fly above her made her feel irritated to the point of wanting to push Amy into the water. It wasn't fair she was subject to dry pillow status instead of being free to stretch and have fun. Then, a sly grin darkened her foxy face.

Nothing being strong enough to stop her, except maybe Blastoise, she waited three more seconds for Amy's eyes to droop all the way down, then swiftly kicked her overboard. In one blink of an eye, Human became soaked and Poke'mon paddled around her in a fit of yips. "Xiena, you sneak!" Amy giggled loudly after rushing up for air. "You're lucky my things are safely inside my backpack and out of the water. Now c'mere you!" She dove under the fox in an attempt to pull her deeper into the water, but Xiena was too fast, starting a wrestle match.

Skii laughed heartily at their play, almost about to join in, but then thought about safety. One was to keep his trainer's pack dry because it held precious things inside, including a fresh change of clothes, and his bulk would get somebody hurt. It was more fun to watch anyway. Instead, he bobbed to create small waves for the playmates as he turned back to the birds still circling above them. When had this bird seen the smelly men?

Both Wingull ceased their fight abruptly to answer their friend....He couldn't remember. Another slap to the face, and they were right back to arguing. Skii sighed, going back to laugh with his family. At least they now swam in a tag game so he wouldn't have to keep backtracking and push them forward.

The shoreline of their destination came into view, stopping Amy and Xiena in place. That is, they raced to land instead of wrestle, while Blastoise prepared to join. With a quick spin and cocked guns, Skii released two powerful jets of water from each weapon to launch himself backwards towards land. Both friends gasped when they were lifted onto his back, holding on for dear life as they were propelled into a tree.

"Whoa, that was cool!" Amy shouted from the very top, her arms wrapped tightly around the thinned trunk. She peered down cautiously, finding herself way too high, and so her excitement dampened. "I'd like to get down now." With the help of a still-laughing Ninetales, she really enjoyed flying through the air like that, Amy made it back to the ground. Then, she realized a missing body.

Oh, nevermind, there he is. Skii got stuck in a different tree...but only for a few seconds. His weight was too much for the poor plant to handle, felling them both to the other side of the copse. Amy followed the length of the broken tree and found her Poke'mon spinning in dizzying circles on his back. She helped slow him down enough for him to sit upright with a grunt and a smile. No way was that going to get him down, even if it did physically.

"Thank you for getting us this far, Skii" the girl said to the Water type, fishing out his Ball from the backpack still strapped to one of his barrels. "You can take a rest while we walk around town." A shining red light enveloped the turtle, him waving to his trainer before curling up all snug inside. Now, to change behind a dense wall of bushes with Xiena as a bodyguard.

Amy squeezed back out of the bushy shield and pet Ninetailes, pointing past the last of the trees, in the direction of Ecruteak. "And now to find the Kimono ladies!"

-----------------

The creek of the metal door echoed through the long hallway, and as it closed, the loud click echoed as well. The hallway itself wasn’t as narrow as Hannah thought it’d be, looking to be about three times her height from each sidewall, and twice her height from floor to ceiling. She thought it odd how much noise bounced off the walls judging by the space. It wasn’t even made of tile, but of cement and plaster. A small thought came and went in the back of her mind to comment of the amount of space. ’You could transport decent-sized cages through here in an emergency…’

Hannah also noted the lights lined neatly along the length of the hallway. The first thing she did while closing the door was watch the fluorescent bulbs for any suspicious movement; you can never be too sure one of them isn’t a camera. Instead, she found the flooding sunshine from outside dimming them, and not just because the Sun was stronger than electricity. A way to conserve energy. Smart. Lights brightened again once the door shut, allowing the two to see a ways down the hall. Then, she wondered, since these are on at all, someone must be here.

Mittens sat at her trainer’s feet, licking one paw to wash her face. The back of that door is filthy and so are parts of the walls. Her trainer may not be able to see it clearly, but Glameow sure could. Small patches of rust accumulated near the threshold, while newly-forming mold crept along where wall met floor. Disgusting.

This person needs to keep their living-quarter better cleaned. Various smells, very faint traces, were detected, making Mitten’s muscles twitch and hiss softly. These smells were kinds floating about everyday. No, these were foreign, laced with an even fainter hint of something metallic to the taste…blood.

She thought this place was suspicious the minute they came across it. Of course, they will venture further into the depths to find the source of the vile aroma, especially since she knows her trainer love adventures like these. Mystery with the possibility of danger. Plus, it’ll give her something to do today.

“This place is creepy and it reeks of mystery. I love it,” Hannah told her pet with a sinister grin. Mittens just rolled her eyes in knowing. The woman’s pervious mask of innocence was soon replaced with the usual determination sparkling in her eyes. Tucking a loose strand of brown hair behind her ear, she noticed the way Glameow tensed up after sniffing the heavy air. That meant there was a potential threat to them somewhere up ahead…or right behind them.

Hannah rotated on her heel at the same time Mittens did, meeting a stranger in a lab coat and his Alakazam face-to-face. Her reflexes made her jerk back slightly since she was entirely expecting someone to be there. But, she quickly recovered, placing her left hand on her hip with a smirk.

“Well, well, what a rude way to begin a conversation,” Hannah huffed at Xaviero. Then, she heard another voice behind him, peeking around his shoulder to find yet another person. After looking the two up and down, really only being able to see Yuki’s face, she readjusted her hat to uncover her own face from the shadows. Gripping the front strap of her bag, she continued after Yuki, “So, I assume you two don’t know me? That’s a shame since I happen to know about you.” She paused briefly to watch their reactions, and then added, “I am Hannah Delani and, if I’m not mistaken, you taught my daughter.” She lazily pointed at Xavi, but also looked at Yuki.

“I wish to know what’s going on in this dump, cause it smells funky and has a sort of bad vibe to it. Mind if you show us around? Maybe we can help one another?”

Xaviero turned his head, taking a sudden, sharp breath in as he heard Yuki's voice. Of course, the teen had managed to sneak into his lab. He never failed to do so. The scientist exhaled the deep breath he had taken, eyes landing on Yuki before a quiet, humorless laugh escaped him. "Isn't it common courtesy to not trespass and demand to know what is happening?" he retorted softly to the teen before focusing on the woman in front of him once more. "On government property, no less..." He shook his head, a hint of a smirk on his face as he did so.

The Alakazam at Xaviero's side had glanced blankly toward Yuki, perfectly in sync with his trainer as he did so. The Psychic dipped his head in greeting slightly before his gaze slid back to Hannah as well. The Pokemon crossed his arms as soon as he heard his trainer speak, catching on to the fact that his trainer was, at this point, more amused with this woman than threatened.

As soon as this woman mentioned Amy, a name he hadn't heard in quite some time, Xaviero blinked once more, a much more serious air taking its place on him. His eyes narrowed slightly, looking up and down Hannah with a frown on his face. She obviously knew him. His eyes closed and his facial features grew more relaxed, almost weary before a hint of a smile lifted his lips slightly. A split second later, nearly black eyes were focused on the woman in front of him, steely as they met her gaze.

Xaviero glanced to Yuki for a moment, holding his line of vision on the teen for a moment, as if hoping to see the stoic adolescent's thoughts displayed on his face. Something that, of course would never happened. "I taught your daughter?" he tilted his head, only to walk past Hannah and to the door, behind which Hanabi was still snarling, appearing quite uninterested to hear that particular fact. Once there, he pulled out a card key and scanned it, causing the door to open and Hanabi to find herself face to face with her trainer.

Hanabi blinked, feral sounds suddenly ceasing as she looked at Xaviero, to the woman behind him, and then to Yuki. Her arrow-tipped tail swished behind her before she lightly padded next to Ezio, sitting next to the Alakazam, eyes flitting between the three humans, waiting for a command to attack.

"You can relax, Hanabi..." Xaviero commented softly, walking to stand with his Pokemon once more as soon as the door leading to the deeper parts of the lab closed. He studied the woman and her Glameow for a moment, deliberating over what to do with her. "Why should I disclose classified information with someone who does not have clearance?" He crossed his arms as well, standing in a very similar pose to that of his Alakazam.

The Italian’s attention was then shifted to Yuki, who, like always had managed to get into his lab and slip by, undetected until he decided he wanted his presence known. “And how can I be of assistance to you, Yuki?” he inquired without so much as a hello to an old ally.

--

Risa blinked at the sudden talkativeness of Liz and smiled at her kindness, looking to Addy shyly. "He's adorable," she said softly, keeping her hands away in case the Growlithe didn't particularly like being touched by strangers. She tilted her head slightly to look down at Rai as Liz knelt down to pet the Eevee. When Liz stood again and offered her hand, Risa hesitated before accepting the friendly gesture, smiling nervously.

Rai was quite pleased with the attention she was receiving, straightening herself out and letting her tail swish happily through the grass as she looked up, chest puffed out proudly as Liz complimented her. The Pokemon basked in the attention for a moment, only to find it suddenly over. Once left to her own devices, the Pokemon trotted closer to the unhappy looking Growlithe and the cheerful Umbreon, unconsciously staying closer to the Eeveelution. She looked up at Aeneas, seeming to be in awe at what she could become, before happily answering his questions.

The time in Johto had been quite fun, from Rai’s position, although she wasn’t too fond of her ttrainer suddenly picking her up and cuddling her like a stuffed animal every time she got scared. With that said, she paused for a moment, glancing back to her trainer before wagging her tail behind her happily with Aside from that, she was loving the chance to meet new people, see new Pokemon and a new landscape, and to get some time alone with Risa as they explored. With a grin, she then returned the questions to Aeneas politely before getting distracted by the Pidgey in a tree. It seemed… Odd. But, it was out of her reach, so there wasn’t much she could do to prove it.

Risa’s eyes widened in wonder as she looked at the Umbreon chatting away with Rai. She was quite impressed with one of the possibilities for an Eevee to evolve into. She blinked, suddenly realizing that it was rude to stare. “I-I’m sorry! That’s a wonderful Umbreon you have there…” she mumbled, looking away. “It’s great to meet you, Kuzumi! And you too, Liz!

They were both from Aerei, too? That brought a bit of relief to the anxious teen and she smiled softly, watching the Pokemon talk. Briefly, she wondered if her Eevee would evolve on its own, or if she would have a say in what Rai turned into, wondering what would be the best form for the Evolution Pokemon to take. When her Eevee looked to her, she blinked, turning her attention back to the people around her and shifted her weight from one leg to the other uncomfortably as she realized it was all eyes on her.“I’m just exploring… I wanted to see the land where my starter, my Feraligatr, came from and to see if I’ve gotten stronger…” she murmured, one hand unconsciously slipping to her belt and touching the Pokeball containing Sleet. The other hand was messing with a strand of blonde hair that was peeking out from under the brown top layer, twisting it around her finger as she let her eyes drift across the clearing.

She blinked at the Pidgey watching them, returning the Pokemon’s gaze for a moment before the Pidgey hopped away, into a higher branch. “Strange… ” she looked back to the other two near her, wondering if either of them had seen the brief appearance of the Tiny Bird Pokemon, or if they had noticed anything strange. She shook off the feeling she had that something was watching her, pushing away the uncomfortable feeling that had been nagging at her the entire time she had been near the building and looked to the other two for a few seconds before her gaze was once again averted back to her Pokemon.

--

Mew flitted deeper into the tree, out of sight from the humans and felt her heart racing in her chest. Perhaps this was a bad idea, after all. She glanced back to where she knew Mewtwo would be watching from, sighing as she seriously considered darting away from the humans and leaving with Mewtwo. But at the same time, she felt responsible to show her clone human kindness, that some people really could be genuinely good inside.

With that thought in mind, the New Species Pokemon, still in the form of the Pidgey, took a deep breath, closing her eyes and flying into the air once more, watching the tower for a moment, flying over the structure a few times before she gathered up the resolve to put herself in a potentially dangerous situation. ~I know…~ she replied softly, knowing full well how risky this move could be.

~But, they could help us…~ She watched the humans again, feeling as if she could trust them. Something about them was different than those people in the lab, she could tell. With her heart set on trusting these humans and proving that not all were evil, she put both her own and Mewtwo's lives on the line with what seemed like a death wish. The Pokemon braced herself for Mewtwo's anger as she flew straight down, landing lightly on Kuzumi's head.

Mew sat there for a moment, immobile and not breathing as she felt her heart pounding in her chest as if it was trying to break free from her rib cage. For the first second or two, she felt nothing but fear numbing her mind as Mewtwo's warning rang through her mind once more. If they attacked, it would be all over for the two of them.

The New Species Pokemon flinched suddenly and spread her wings, suddenly regretting her actions immensely as she realized that she had the attention of an Eevee and a teen, both staring up at her in confusion. She fluttered up into the air for a moment, trilling nervously in her Pidgey form and looked to Rai, who merely wagged her tail friendlily toward the Psychic with bright eyes.

~Maybe this was a bad idea...~ she commented to Mewtwo, eyes drifting up to where her clone was likely glaring down upon her actions. Closing her eyes, she pushed away the adrenaline rush she was feeling and forced herself to go through with the rest of her plan.

The Psychic suddenly shimmered with a pale blue light, glistening in the sunlight as her facade as a Pidgey faded and she revealed herself in her true form. The now pink Pokemon quickly rose herself up and out of the humans' immediate reach, looking down at the trio and their Pokemon sheepishly, tail flicking behind her nervously.

~Mewtwo won't be too happy...~ she found herself thinking, completely forgetting the fact that she was still mentally linked to her clone and he would likely hear the comment. She suddenly began to glisten once more, fading out of their sight as she Teleported behind Kuzumi, reaching to take the headband he wore to see how the human would react. Regardless of whether or not she succeeded in taking it with her, she would Teleport behind Liz, attempting to snag a Pokeball off of her waist and Teleporting away once more, reappearing some feet above the humans, actually finding herself giggling as she began to play.

Should she succeed at stealing the headband and random Pokeball, she would create a pink bubble, storing the items within it and bouncing on top of it, another stream of giggles coming from her as she watched the humans from on top of it, laying on her stomach with her tail swishing through the air.

Yuki didn't even blink as he learned that Xaviero had taught this woman's daughter something. Xaviero had a soft spot for children, as far as the teen was aware, and so this discovery was hardly a surprise. Instead of commenting about it, he allowed Xaviero a chance to speak and listened intently to the Italian's words.

Now, was the fellow scientist referring to him as a trespasser, Hannah as a trespasser, or the pair of them? Shrugging, yellow eyes blinked slowly as the boy announced "Maybe not courtesy, but it certainly is common to have trespassers and random civilians demanding for information."

He quieted, then, as Xaviero moved to the door that hid Hanabi. Yuki absently glanced down at the coffee, still warm, and actually frowned. "Is there a sink nearby that I can dump this into? Unless either of you are interested in coffee?" Judging by the look on his face, it could be considered obvious that the teenager was not a fan of coffee.

A distraction made itself apparent at that moment, causing him to momentarily forget his questions, and tug a nod of greeting from him to the Houndoom. He'd have voiced an actual greeting to the pair of Pokemon when he heard Xaviero's question directed to him. Averting his gaze from Ezio and Hanabi to Xaviero, the teen revealed an empty smile.

"I'm bored."

~

Kuzumi laughed jovially at Liz's surprise. "It wasn't a very tall building to jump off of anyways!" His eyes were shining brightly with amusement as he added "I haven't been to Johto since I last visited my elder sister. I was supposed to meet her soon when I got a call telling me I had a job to do."

The martial artist then waved the matter off as his attention jumped to Risa as she mentioned his Umbreon. "Heh, thanks! I'm proud to be Aeneas' beloved trainer!" Grinning affectionately at his Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokemon glancing up just then to grin up at him, the teen added "I want Aeneas to see the sights that I love, and the best views are from the skies."

The male trainer paused, then, as he thought about Aerei and how the two girls were both from that region. Sheepishly he felt the need to inform the others of his actual home and did so. "I can't really say that I lived in Aerei. I was there, definitely, but my real home is the Hoenn region. I was found in Petalburg Forest and raised in Petalburg."

Aeneas nodded proudly to Kuzumi, canine grin still apparent, as he heard the trainer's words of seeing sights. They had already shared the memories of watching sunrises and sunsets in Aerei and, because Kuzumi was wary about Hoenn, they had moved on to Johto where the boy's sister lived. Gaze returning to the Eevee and Growlithe before him, he admitted he was having a wonderful time.

The fact that Kuzumi wanted to show him all the familiar sights, sights that should have been held as granted after seeing them so often, was truly a gift to the Umbreon and he was relishing every moment of it. Kuzumi gave him a lot of space and freedoms, being quite aware that Pokemon have limits as well to contact, but Aeneas often stuck right up close to the boy anyways.

They couldn't get enough of each other's attention as far as Aeneas could tell. He looked forward to reaching the top of this badly burnt tower and possibly going onto the other tower just to see the beautiful scenery. His auburn-haired trainer had been so eager to show him the scenery that it made the Umbreon swell even more with excitement.

Of course, just then, he was distracted as he heard his trainer's spirit lifting laughter fill the air once more. Turning his attention up at the boy, red eyes twinkling with amusement, the Umbreon watched as a Pidgey Transformed into a Pokemon he didn't recognize and playfully snatch at his trainer's bandanna.

~

Mewtwo, after being around humans for so long as an experiment, managed a few colorful words under his breath as he realized what Mew was doing. ~Mew...!~ He managed telepathically, heart thumping painfully against his chest as he watched his original's actions. This was beyond a bad idea- this was madness!

Instinctively he Teleported closer, hidden among the trees as he crouched on a high branch to keep out of view, and prepared to strike in case any of the humans tried anything. The cloned Pokemon was determined to make the first strike in this time of risk. ~Stop this foolishness before they attack!~

It could have simply been paranoia that made the adrenaline rush through his veins and urge him to just fire a Shadow Ball into the center of the gathered trainers. It could have been a desire to harm the very creatures that hurt him so much. Whatever the case, he had to literally swallow his burning desire back to keep from being as foolish as his pinker counterpart.

~Damn right I'm not happy!~ He hissed, using a word he had heard often among the human scientists when they were furious with one another, to emphasize his point of anger. Mew's giggling only made him more furious. ~This is no laughing matter!~ And why, in the name of all he could kill without a second though, was that male human laughing too!

Kuzumi had froze, feeling a Pokemon land on his head, before laughing as he noticed the looks on the others' faces. "What? Is something on my face?" He inquired jokingly before feeling Mew lift off his head. Eagerly he peered up to see what it was only for his eyes to widen in excited surprise. "What luck! It's a Mew!"

Even as he said it, he knew something was wrong. Johto was not one of the New Species Pokemon's domains, though it wasn't very far from one either. Then again, neither was the Hoenn region. Thinking back to the story Hiiragi and Aika had told him about how he got his necklace, the teen smiled as he watched the legendary. Things could have been odder.

When Mew reached for his headband, his eyes widened fearfully and he quickly ducked, giggles escaping his lips before he could suppress them, and he half-danced towards Risa when Mew Teleported. He caught sight of the pink Pokemon immediately and laughed as it then reached for Liz's belt of Pokeballs.

Standing back up straight, both hands on his bandanna as if he was worried the failed attempt to remove it was enough for it to decidedly fall of, the teen tilted his head slightly. "As playful as I heard! What brings you to Johto, friend?" The boy was mid-laugh when he was abruptly slammed into by his Umbreon. He didn't even manage a word when he realized what was happening.

~I missed.~ Mewtwo announced to Mew flatly before Teleporting to another branch to hide on. He had fired a Shadow Ball at the male trainer that appeared to be trying to win over Mew by what was obviously false kindness. ~Don't fall for it, Mew, they just want to capture you.~

It was to his disappointment that the Umbreon had somehow realized its trainer was in danger and moved to protect the human. No matter for it was just luck that the Umbreon was able to react so quickly. He would not fail next time. In fact, Mewtwo was actually silently daring Kuzumi to call Mew "friend" once more.

(I love when I screw up thinking of the scenery. Except that not)

"Fly lower, fly lower!" Hissed Sonny as the wind breezed through his face, the teenager firmly attached to Arya's back. The small charizard chuckled and lowered the altitude- she would never understand her trainer's fear of heights...But again, she would run away from most things, she wasn't one to talk.

At the moment both were darting through the air, coming from Blackthorn - As soon as Sonny lost sight of that umbran girl, he called Arya to get to Goldenrod quicker, and the charizard was more than happy with an opportunity to stretch the wings.

Sonny looked down and felt a wave of relief strike him as he saw that they were just about a bit higher than the medium trees on the side of the road. After ten minutes or so, they saw Mahogany town appear and passed darting through it, almost touching the ceiling of a house due to the low altitude; they looked up north and caught a glimpse of the famous Lake of Rage in the distance, glinting in the sun. The sight was beautifull; when they were done with this, Sonny would surely take his team for a trip there.

"If the map is right, we must be getting close to Ecrutreak..." Said Sonny, and Arya nodded in response. A few Ledibas and Pidgeottos were looking down on them from high in the sky, some even deciding to try and approach. Most of them got left behind when they got close, as Arya was actually going incredibly fast for a charizard - Might have something to do with her small stacture -, but soon a few Ledians and Lediba started to fly around then, cruiously peeking at the dragon and the rider.

"Hey there" Said the teen to the bugs as they flied; obviously he got no response, but enjoyed watching then circling around them as the fly went on. But soon they dispersed as they got too close to Ecrutreak, and when Sonny looked forward again, he noticed that if they kept that low altitude they would likely be flying betwenn the buildings. Height or safety?

"Char..." Groaned Arya as she started to gain height, but Sonny immediatelly latched to her neck, eyes widening with sudden fear

"No, keep low!" Begged him "C'mon, we'll just be carefull to don't hit anyone. Don't get too high" Moaned him. he Flme Pokemon rolled her eyes and kept treetop altitude as they entered the city at high speed, some people stopping and pointing, surprised, and some yelling things that weren't very nice about crazy teens and their flying pokemon.

"Sorry!" Yelled the teen back as they kept flying. Arya moaned, feeling unease due to all the attention they were atttracting. No, screw this; her trainer liking or not, she started to gain altitude; not much, but enough so the people at the town wouldn't mind much.

"Agh, fine..." Mused Sonny. He looked down for some moments, trying to get a better sight of the city and...Hm, wait, what was that pink thing floating? And...Wait, the girl with the green jacket, did she looked familiar or--

While he was wondering just what was happening, the city gates passed below him and Arya descended lower again.

"Ah...Weird, I tought I saw Liz for a moment there....And what was the pink thing?" Mused him. Arya looked back to him for a moment, curious, before her trainer shaking his head negatively "Ah, whatever, I'll find out later. Maybe we-- Watch out!!" Cried him, eyes widening in fear as he looked forward. Arya looked to the road again and found herself in collision route with a girl with a Ninetales.

Crying out in surprise as the girl approached, she flapped her wings suddenly, changing the angle they were and suddenly shooted up in an almost 90º degree angle. Obviously, the action made her trainer let go and fell flat on the road - partially because the action was really sudden, but mostly because betwenn hitting the ground and going high up as he felt she would do...Well...

"Ow" Mused him, sitting down and shaking his head. He opened one eye and looked to the girl

"Hey...Hm, sorry about that...We got distracted in the flight..." Started him, standing up "You're ok?" Asked him as Arya circled on the sky, too shy to come down and check properly on the girl; she was worried she might have hurt her in some way, and she wasn't good with apologies...

(Yeah, apparently they're inside a building. Yay for me screwing up with the setting.)

Azure was sitting down on one couch of the lobby, passing his eyes through a flier that he found in the table. He frowned and took down a writting block and a pencil, apparently focused on whatever he was writting so much that he didn't seem to notice the small arguing in the back of the room, even with at least three pokemon outside the pokeballs,

Which was, of course, the disguise. He was in fact listening carefully, but showed no signs of it, no more than a slightly glance at the three at the beginning of it, only to return to taking notes on the block. Paying attention while seemingly completely focused on something else was an usefull trick he mastered years ago. This was getting interesting.

Meanwhile, his castform was circling around the building, searching for any interesting sight; that was mostly boring - No windows, and basically no way on seeing what was going inside of it. Ais groaned a bit, circling higher up...Maybe she would find- Aha.

The Castform circled around the ventilation exit for a bit to make sure it was safe; there were tight bars on it, which would make anything that tried to sneak inside using that as a tunnel pretty frustrated. Luckly, it was not her case - She basically focused for a moment on desolidifying a bit and passed through it like she was made of a strange fog. Giggling, Ais started to make her way down the ventilation, wanting to see just where it would take her.

O amor é o maior evento da vida; a única coisa pela qual vale a pena viver
A low, whooshing sound was heard by the duo somewhere to the right. Amy looked there, but wasn't able to see anything of significance. She pulled out a pair of shades from a side pocket and pressed the camoflauged button on the temple. The inside lenses flickered once, and then a faint, almost clear, dot blinked in the upper corner while a definate blue confirmed Xiena. Once the dot fills in, it'll probably be orange, Amy guessed. What else could it be besides a wild bird?

She replaced the glasses to resume the journey. Wearing accessories on her face wasn't a favourite thing to do. It made her eyesight feel restricted to only see through the lenses, and wearing makeup or glitter was unnatural. Plus, she was fine as she was, nothing needed to be added.

She'd even abandoned her gold bracelets quite some time ago...not tossed out carelessly, but used for good. That little distraught boy worrying about a girl he liked. It was her birthday the next day and he hadn't saved enough money for a gift. So, Amy handed him the bracelets, saying he would find more use for them than she. Kids were cute.

"C'mon, Xiena, we should get moving," Amy urged, turning back to the entrance of Ecruteak, only to hear a sudden roar and a yelp from directly behind. How in the world did something sneak up on her like that?! She panicked at the immediate decision that must be made. Catch or dodge? About to dodge, her feet glued to the ground, so she tried catching the fallen body, ending up on her back. At least she sort of broke the fall, though now they were both sprawled out. The world warped and spun for a few seconds in dizziness.

Amy propped herself carefully on her elbows, asking, "Are you ok?" at the same time as the other. Only a very slight shiver ran up her spine upon seeing the boy from the sky. She chuckled nervously. "Um, I'm fine, don't worry about it...ah, what are you doing?!"

Attention shifted to the angry Fox spewing Flamethrowers above them, aiming to clip a circling Charizard. It was like an unexpected air-raid, she irrationally thought, watching out for any more Charizard hauling human canons. Her fire barely reached this one, so fangs bared towards the boy sitting near her trainer.

"Oreos," Amy sighed when Xiena pinned the boy down, front paws weighing on his chest. The word perked her ears up instantly, and then she started licking all over his face like a little puppy. Any shook her head in embarrassment. "I'm very sorry about her. Strangers are a cautious thing around me." Standing, she pulled an oreo cookie from her pack, throwing it far to watch Xiena zoom away. The girl held out her hand to help him up. "My name is Amy, and you can call down your Charizard if you want." She smiled sweetly at the new person.

"Xiena and I were on our way to visit the Kimono Sisters about Lugia's disappearence. You're welcome to join us, unless you have other things to attend to."

Hannah didn't outwardly respond to Xaviero's side comment about it being a government building. So what if it was? They should have some sort of sign on the outside. Maybe something along the lines of "Do Not Enter Private Property." Then again, that would have only driven her more to lurk about the secret place. Secrets, mysteries, rumours, anything within those themes drove the women's spirits to a high, energized state of mind, so she couldn't just pass up this opportunity. She knew in her gut this man was hiding something very interesting within the facility, and she set her mind to figure out just what it was.

She stared hard and long into his eyes, or what she could make out behind silvery glasses, noting the hardened look he shot her. From what she'd gathered so far, Xaviero was a very cautious man, and he should be as a scientist. At least, she assumed him to be one of science by his white overcoat. Totally didn't give anything away to see his name tag on the front either.

Looking him over a couple times, he didn't seem like too strange a person. Mainly because her daughter would always talk about him during semi-frequent phone calls. They'd discuss how Amy's knowledge grew, how her Pokémon changed, the different kinds of creatures seen. Though what she meant by "creatures," Hannah didn't know. All in all, it wasn't too terrible of a real first impression, knowing he'd taken good care of her daughter.

Hannah could still remember the day a call came to inform her not to expect many more. Amy was planning to undergo some long journey, where technology is mostly obsolete. For some reason, the mother didn't entirely trust the information. There was something hidden in the voice, eating away at her supposed mask of cheer. Whatever the reason, Hannah simply accepted the words, and let her little girl go. She never thought the phone would collect dust for over two years.

Memories didn't betray on Hannah's face, keeping eyes trained on the man before her. She watched him stride past to unlock a card-secured door and reveal a growling Houndoom. The Fire Dog bared her fangs to the woman in threat, and all Hannah could think about was the glossy sheen on her coat. "Impressive health," she commented under her breath. The growling soon stopped, Houndoom taking a seat next to Alakazam.

Mittens seemed intrigued by the Houndoom referred to as Hanabi. Out of all the other trainer-owned, this one was very loyal to the glasses-wearing scientist. She admired the kinds of Pokémon who didn't fidget under command of a human, so she liked Hanabi. When the Dog had growled upon entering this side of the door, Glameow couldn't help but snicker, padding over for a closer look. She'd heard her owner's comment and agreed. There was indeed remarkable cleanliness in the coat and horns gleamed with polish.

Surly this scientist hadn't the time nor patience to groom each day for this appearance. Mittens sat in front of Hanabi, staring up into her powerful and watchful eyes that continued to shift through the humans. The Cat deliberately stuck out her pink tongue, tail swishing side to side, each time uncurling then curling again. By now, she could stand the scent of the building enough to get close to the Dog, who smelled the strongest of all. Probably because she had been cooped up in the lab further back. So, whatever lies behind that card-secured door must lead to the metallic stench, she reasoned.

Glameow glanced up to Yuki when he spoke of his boredom. Her owner should be agreeing to that statement, knowing her. She sniffed once. Yuck, coffee, something Hannah brewed each morning what Mittens couldn't stand. And now it followed her here of all places. She'd much prefer whole milk with a side of smoked salmon.

Hannah grinned at the obviously older male for his question and rested a hand lightly on her chest. "I have a notorious baddie record, so you know I am a trustworthy person if you need things kept on the down-low. Assuming you're in charge here, you can grant me clearance and I can help in any way possible. I was once Aqua's second in command...once a temporary commander," she added rather pridefully, and then, "I'm also really bored and need an interesting task to do."
