Lenis grabbed onto another rock, jumping upwards to just barely reach it. He felt his body beginning to weaken, soon he was going to pass the point in which he wouldn't be able to travel back down unless he rested for a while. He decided he'd get to the next clearing and then go back down if he did not spot any Pokemon he liked the look of. Finally reaching a side of a, quite large, cliff he climbed atop it. He sat down and set his back against the side of the mountain, breathing in and out slowly and looking up to the top. He hadn't gotten as high as he wished to of gone, he had wanted to get to the top. He tutted at himself, how was he to find the Quintet if he wasn't physically fit enough to climb a mountain? He came here to look for a good Pokemon, and he had found none... Then he heard it, a beautiful cry that he instantly recognized. It was the cry of a Bronzor, a Pokemon said to have existed for many many years. Perfect. He looked over at it with a smile across his face, he was right. It was a Bronzor. He moved onto all fours, noticing that it was facing the other way and deciding to sneak up on it. Slowly, ever so slowly, he moved forward one step after the other. He was right behind it, he was going to grab it, but then it turned around and saw him. Then next moment was so slow for Lenis it felt almost like a minute. The Bronzor turned around and tried to float off as fast as it could. Lenis stood up and ran after it as fast as he could, trying to jump to grab onto it. It noticed that Lenis was catching up and turned into a cave in order to lose him. Lenis turned to look into the cave briefly, thinking to look before he lept, and saw that it seemed safe. He ran in after the Bronzor, running faster to make up for the time he lost when he stopped. The ground was rough, uncomfortable, and his feet were rapidly starting to get sore. He saw the outline of the Bronzor against bright light, the end of the tunnel, and ran up to it as fast as he could. He jumped, both feet in the air and hitting it in the back. It was at this moment that Lenis realized why it had stopped. The cave ended at the side of the mountain. The Bronzor hit it's face against the side of the steep mountain, Lenis's feet both pushing it down. A horrible screeching noise was made as the Bronzor's face scrapped against the hard rock of the mountain, Lenis just managing to keep balance on top of it by using all of his concentration. He noticed that he was speeding toward a large rock at high speeds and leaned to the side, managing to steer around it. Their speed kept picking up and up, Lenis's hair blowing in the wind faster and faster. He was glad he didn't put his hat on or else he would've lost it by now. He saw a bunch of rocks jut out of the ground where they were heading and could only say one thing. "Shit." He began to lean from side to side, dodging several rocks as the sped toward him. He wasn't sure how long he could keep it up, how long he would continue to be lucky. As he thought on it he hit a rock and he and the Bronzor was sent flying in the air, his legs swinging backwards and forwards wildly. He grabbed onto Bronzor as it began to reach head-level and moved it back below his feet just in time for them to land on the tough, cold rock. The impact was still great however and he lost balance, falling forwards with the Bronzor and rolling for a few feet before he hit the bottom with his back, in the process creating an almighty thump. He groaned loudly and looked beside him at the Bronzor, whom was also heavily injured with several scrapes across it's face and lying on it's back. "Sorry about that... I never meant for anything like this to happen..." The Bronzor groaned back at him, presumably saying that it was fine. "Well... I guess I'll capture you now..." Lenis said as he pulled out his Pokeball and lazily put it against Bronzor, only to find that it had begun to try and float away slowly. "Wait no... Come back please!" Lenis shouted, wondering what he could do. There was no way he could catch up to it with his injuries. He looked from left to right and saw his jeep, closer to him then Bronzor. He slowly got up, stumbling slightly when he stood, then began walking slowly over to the jeep one step at a time. He eventually got there and grabbed his bag, searching through it to find what he needed. He pulled out allot of stuff, his hat, his sunglasses, his knife until he finally found what he was looking for. He turned around and pointed his flare gun at the slow retreating Bronzor and paused. "Sorry... You should of stayed..." He fired and the flare flew towards it, hitting it in the back and exploding. Due to Bronzor's weakness to fire it fell to the ground, knocked out. After a few moments Lenis stumbled over it and lazily put a Pokeball onto it. It shook a couple of times from side to side until it stopped, signifying the capture. "I think I'll name you Caesar..." Lenis muttered as he sat down, layed back and closed his eyes, hurting all over and filled with tiredness. |
