Hi, I'm a PC gamer, don't know much about consoles. As far as I know, PC monitors don't affect game performance/fps at all. Yet I plugged in a ps2 to my 32" HDTV, and it"stutters" on cutscenes in MGS2 and MGS3. Sometimes in gameplay open jungle areas of MGS3 it slows down a lot. it doesn't really stutter, it's hard to describe, it slows down a bit and moving objects leave a sort a trail behind them (?). I don't think it has anything to do with the TV, but if i'm gonna buy a ps3 of my own using HDMI I'd like to know how it'll turn out; I have a feeling it's the ps2/game but idk. Anyone? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: https://www.gamespot.com/forums/playstation-nation-1000002/can-the-tv-affect-performance-26950704/ ICO Marketing Examples Thanks |
