The History of a Supposed God Lucifer's Introduction “Now the thought Both of lost happiness and lasting pain Torments him; round he throws his baleful eyes That witnessed huge affliction and dismay Mixed with obdurate pride and steadfast hate: At once as far as angels ken he views The dismal situation waste and wild, A dungeon horrible, on all sides round As one great furnace flamed, yet from those flames No light, but rather darkness visible Served only to discover sights of woe, Regions of sorrow, doleful shades, where peace And rest can never dwell, hope never comes That comes to all; but torture without end Still urges, and a fiery deluge, fed With ever-burning sulfur unconsumed.” ― John Milton, Paradise Lost Edited by Asking For It, Nov 6 2012, 08:48 PM.

Section One- Love, Loss, Redemption? "All hail the Emperor! Long live the great Octavian!" his voice was just that of a large crowd. The senate cheered enthusiastically to the man that brought love, peace, and stability to Rome and all her possessions. Lucifer was one of the three-hundred senators, elected to the post just days before. His excitement was obvious to anyone, his bright yellow eyes shining, and his short blonde hair oiled in the typical Roman-manor. He wore the traditional toga, with a purple cloak wrapped around it. His eyes were a greyish color, typically shining, like that moment. He could hardly wait to get back home and tell his wife, Fulvia, all about it. Fulvia... Even the thought of her made his stomach queasy. He was still as in love with her, then when he married her six years ago. Edited by Asking For It, Nov 13 2012, 09:19 PM.
