Yet another neat tool that I've discovered at some point during my exploration of the internet that takes a special type of cool person to apprentice it fully... It's a coat of arms maker. Even though the free, browser based version is a little bit limited, its still a fun thing to mes around with, and can also be used if you want to give your nation a coat of arms. It requires Java to use, and also seems to not work on certain computers. The maker can be found here. I attached my prototype for the Slostian CoA. |

I like the idea. I know it isn't anywhere near perfect, but I'm glad with the final result

Just replace the dragons passant with the one in the flag, and that's it. The arms in the corners are those of the two families who warred for 2 centuries to control the island, before it was finally united through marriage. Their son quartered their arms with the arms of the Empire of Nova Elysium after he had founded it. |

Got bored, decided to make some historical coats of arms for the Slostian city states, and for the (former) Kingdom of Slostia. |

Woah, River, did you use some sort of tool to make that coat of arms, or is that a custom work? |

Custom work. Years ago, I found a series of heraldry images on the web and made it in Photoshop by cutting, resizing, changing the colours and layering. It took me almost a day to do them, but I have more experience now. |
