The combat is crap, and the graphics look somewhat dated, but but despite that, it is one of my favorite games ever. And there are also some mods that can help with the graphics a least. It also seems that TES is on of those series that people love the first one they play, and the ones after, but not the ones before. |

Agreed with above, but the reason I like Morrowind is that it has more variety in its setting and a richer story. The combat is pretty crappy but I still had fun with it. |

AD&D... 1st Ed, 2nd Ed, Player Option and some 3E... tried 4tard once but it didn't take. Current Player Option campaign has been going for something like 15 years... maybe more. Started as 1st, transitioned to 2nd and now its in Options... some of the original characters who survived to retire have now died of old age and their great-grandkids are running around. Other games would have to include: Battletech/Mechwarrior, Twilight 2000 (T2K), Gamma World, Mercenaries, Spies & Private Eyes, Traveller, RIFTs and a bunchabuncha one offs or lesser titles. Dragonquest, Recon... list is too long for me to recall everything. Computer games are a lil more limited but includes Civ II & IV, CoD (various), Modern Warfare Vegas & Vegas2... KOTOR... I dunno, alot of stuff. But not so much as the tabletop games. Strategic type games, aside from the stuff we did in the army, is limited to tribal Wars... which lasted almost a year but finally ended due to boredom. Yes I picked up my first AD&D book in 1979 and I have a copy of the 3Ed Blackmoor signed by Dave Arneson... and I have a signed Gold edition of the Rifts main book. OH! Starfleet Battles frakkin' rocks! Just so ya know it. |

I finally got around to playing Dragon Age and I'm not particularly happy about how my story ends up with Alistair as an elf... |

Forgive me for resurrecting an old post, but I just literally beat Portal 2 and it's the BOMB. The gameplay and story are waaaay better than the original now that they've got the funding and resources for a full-length game, but I felt that it lacked the meta spirit of the first Portal--Demoness was right, the cake isn't mentioned in this game. The best thing I liked about it is that during the game they fleshed out the background of Aperture Laboratories and Glados--those levels have a semi Bioshock-ish atmosphere. All in all, worth it. I'll probably start it over tomorrow. |

We played a little of it last night, mainly the co-op. I recommend it for at least an hour. After a while, it becomes apparent only one of you is actually doing the work... >.> Because the other is trying to kill you! Fenwick smashed me at least twice! |

I played about 2 hours of the co-op mode over at my friend's house (smashing the other guy is the best part) after we had walked to Blockbuster and he rented a copy for $9, then he opened the box and found a code for a free copy on Steam. |
