Ostratale [ous-tra-tall-eh] is the language of Kolmestra, and it literally means 'Eastern Speech' and this is because it is derived from Old Svenska spoken by those to the west, and the long forgotten language of the original inhabitants of the region(before being assimilated into Kolmestrin culture. It still uses the Runic alphabet of Old Svenska. (think Old Norse, some modern Norwegian, and some Finnish) |
