okay well I'm fluent in Afrikaans (my mother tounge) fluent in English, can understand German if spoken slowly, understand Dutch if spoken slowly, understand and say a few words of japanese, used to learn Mandarin (way too complicated for me), understand a few words in Italian, know a few words in Zulu and Tswana, oh and of course French (though it could be better, considering im moving to france in Jan 2012) there you have it! |

I can speak fluently in English, and reasonably well in French and Russian... Also Latin and Ancient Greek but they don't really work anymore... |

English and Latin fairly well. I probably have a dozen languages at Irritating American Tourist level (I really like them, but seldom pursue them beyond vitals like "your dog is on fire" and "move your f***ing car"). I'm the only one in my family whose Spanish is broken, though - everyone else is fluent >.> |
