I was wondering if it would be too outlandish to have a large submersible capital ship. Furthermore, I am curious as to my neighbor's capital ships. I need inspiration for mine, since I'm going to be entering the World War at some point. Thx |

In the WW it would be, in the modern era not so much. I've envisioned Psyonia putting a lot of stock in submersible warships in the recent past and have moved their building programs in that direction, including submersible aircraft carriers. |

At the beginning of the WW I think we're at the transition point between battleships and aircraft carriers. Neolantia is a little behind the curve in 1934 on this so right now I'm thinking we have a bunch of battleships, one carrier in service and a couple more in production. I image a more up to date navy like Orchyre would have be more carrier based already. |

ok. a few more questions: How long is the WW going to last? Are there going to be any other large scale wars afterwards? |

Don't forget that IRL the death of the battleship predated aircraft carriers coming into their own. Post WWI treaties are what did them in. They could have had use for a number of years after WWII, right up until the emergence of jets and the high speed modern rockets of today. |

We have the Assembly being founded in January 1942 so the war has to end some time before that. This is our only world war. Lots of nations have smaller wars after that in their factbooks. We don't have a list or anything. Actually we'll need a 'Major Events in Your Country since 1934' thread eventually. It would be nice to have a handy reference for modern history and it's not as overwhelming as trying to write out a timeline for the whole history of the world. |

I got 2 Super Carriers. That's perfectly within reason, right? |

Nowadays, a "supercarrier" is something like this: Anything larger is impractical to build and maintain. |

Some countries (USA) maintain at least one super carrier just for the prestige of it, despite it's impracticalities. |
