My ambassador: Makoto Nedia, wife Emili, and children 1963 work? It's just a random number, but it's more specific. Our trade agreement should work out wonderfully since they match my imports/exports nicely.
My ambassador: Rafferty Mari and wife Vashiti Both agreements work for me.
Trade agreement is easy. The mutual defense pact depends on politics. You said your leader after the war was more agreeable, correct? I don't recall anything in your history that would make our relations run cold, so the mutual defense pact is fine as long as your country understands Fenwick would take precedence if you were to be on different sides; that would have been made absolutely clear on signing. |

Oh yes, the post WW leader is much more agreeable and we'd perfectly understand that your more established allies would take precedence. We'd probably also seek the same alliance with Fenwick, too. |

Well, Nova Elysium has got some rather expansive deposits of Copper, mixed with a bit of Tin and some Gold. Cultural Exchanges are also probable. Perhaps there was some sort of agreement about spheres of influence in the Souther Xia area (I'm insterested in a small colony out there for the 19th Century). Apart from that, maybe there'd be some sort of agreement for a trading quarter in one of the coastal cities? |

My ambassador: Yoshio Masaki Normal trade relations?
I'm really not sure about metal exchanges as realistically, I don't know what is necessary in a government. Cultural exchange? Perhaps since you speak Navis, you could be our Navis-language exposure. I know it's not your primary language, but it would become apparent later on that more people speak Navis. If that's the case, perhaps we could make an arrangement where we loaned you Lnora Asefu for a while, kinda like Hong Kong. Solaris would be the city you'd be looking for. I'm not sure about a whole "quarter", but arrangements can be made of some sort, I'm sure. I'm not sure how the local business would react to you, particularly the Surudhannor Conglomerate. Should be interesting. |

I'm going to have to look at your factsheet to see what sort of "exposure" I might have had. ![]() I was thinking about this: the Surudhannor presence would probably welcome Elysion merchants at first as potential customers. Over time, they began to see them as competitors instead and try to either push them out of business or bring them under their control. Complaints would be registered, but likely nothing would come of them because of Clan Surudhannor's influence. Official complaints would be answered, but no clear evidence would be found. This would help to chill relations between our countries in addition to the events leading up to the war and not renewing the lease. |
