I've been interested in watching this show. There's a few sci-fi shows I promised myself to watch like Doctor Who and Babylon 5. Huzzah! It's available on Instant Netflix! |

Wait, they put it back on Netflix? Grr... They took it off halfway through the last season we were watching, so we had to get the discs. Babylon 5 is pretty good, though I think it starts to go downhill in season 5. Otherwise it's pretty intricate and smart.

My favorite character is Harvey. ![]() As far as B5 is concerned, I loved seasons 3&4. They do an amazing job of taking things you thought were trivial in the earlier seasons and showing how they turned out to be exceptionally pivotal. Season 5 was a bit of a disappointment, but I blame that on WB telling JMS that the show had been cancelled and then renewing it and telling him he had almost no time to write out a fifth season. I'd definitely recommend watching it, its movies (A Call to Arms especially), Crusade is tolerable, and Babylon 5: Lost Tales is indescribably good. It says something about a TV show when NASA asks for permission to use the design of one of their spacecraft. >.> (The designer said of course, but only if you keep the name. NASA agreed.) The Starfuries are incredible little ships. |

Just doing my job as chair of the thread derailment committee, jeez. I think that the cartoon episode was one of the strangest things I have ever seen. >.> |

I loved it. It was rather nostalgic actually since I used to watch Looney Toons all the time and it was crazy to see a parody that still worked for a storyline. Plus, it showed Farscape was willing to experiment, whether or not it worked. Good shows try it and learn from their mistakes.

Mmkay, the crazy chanting chick that's drawing storms needs to quit. And Aeryn almost gave me a mental breakdown... |
