The big cons for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon from my perspective are the real-world setting and the close range assault system. Though I'm waiting to actually have the CRA in my hands before I really say anything positive or negative about it. Pros: Aircraft actually break up rather than either exploding into a fireball or streaking a bit of fire before doing that. Real buildings and terrain instead of mattes with a few buildings sticking up here and there. I'm with the members that say that an AC130 and rotary missions don't really belong in the ACES series, but I'm willing to at least give them the credit of attempting to put something new into it, even if it fails. I just tried the demo for Apache: Air Assault. Not really sure what I think atm, since most of the AH-64 sims I've played were for the PC and that made me think the controls were a bit unwieldy. I'm wondering if the voice command system for ME:3 will be usable with a headset if you don't have a Kinect. I'd hope so, but eh. Mixed feelings on the Wii U. I just haven't really seen enough of it to make me feel the need to get one. At this point I'd rather just see a Metroid and Zelda title for the XB3 and PS3. =\ |

Apache is hard to control. I haven't even gotten ME 2 yet but one was awesome. I heard they got rid of the vehicle in ME 2.Is that true? |

The Mako is gone, but it's replaced with another vehicle if you get the Cerberus download. I think it's unwieldy, but everyone hate the Mako but me. >.<; |

I didn't, it was awesome. It really helped in cold and against the giant worms. Now it's all coming back to me. The wierd aliens, the awesome planets, the good storyline. |

Yesh. I liked the Mako better than the Hammerhead. >.> Though killing a Thresher Maw on foot is epic. Not as epic in ME:2, but still epic. >:} Shame they didn't have as much of the exploration and hostile environments in ME:2 as they did in the first. I kind of liked that. |

Just saw the preview for the Wii U (seriously, come up with a better title, Nintendo!) and I got mixed feelings about it. Most of the stuff demonstrated came across as tacky add-ons, but I thought putting the inventory screen on the controller in the Zelda sequence was pretty inspired. |

Hmm... I can only judge from the article I read, but it's coming across to me as a glorified DS. So what if you can sit on the couch next to someone if they want to use the TV - I can already do that! That's what a handheld is. I'm not certain what other features you guys are talking about. As for the name... WTF? "Wii" was bad enough, but "Wii U"? |

If developers are even the slightest bit creative, there's a ton of really cool stuff the WiiU can do. What you have here is a "second window" into the game world that moves independently of the main screen, which means, just off the top of my head, you can use it for things like a filter over the screen (think scan visor), or showing specific information to specific players for strategy games. Then you have touch screen control on a console now which will go a long way for console RTSs. Not to mention the more mundane but very utilitarian application of using it to just cut down on HUD clutter. I don't think the "switching when someone needs the TV" thing is a main selling point so much as just "this other potential use". |

I personally like the idea of Wii U for FPSs, makes it feel more real when you're playing for look around and stuff. |

An interesting concept that I heard ghost recon and Battlefeild 3 might adopt is to display the iron sight on the controller while using the wii U zapper, or when playing ghost recon to display the drones controls so your able to see the whole battlefield from a birds eye view and mark targets on the fly |
