Acknowledging the " ",If anyone thinks any claim I make is unreasonable, please tell me. I really don't want to be a hypocrite, and I recognize that my judgement is far from flawless. Thanks. Again, @Demoness, the " " is duly noted...

At this point in time, my view of the space program is incredibly cynical and with that in mind my expectations of where we'll be in ten years is about the same (look at Back to the Future and even something as simple as hover boards) as we are now. My estimation of moon bases would essentially be bare baess and even SC1 is at times more developed than I feel is realistic. So to be fair, I'm blanket ignoring moon bases rather than trying to ascertain which ones are realistic and which aren't - but I'll tell you right now that any with normal gravity are not. |

By living forever I meant regenerate organs. You cannot really live forever. Maybe a couple decades more. We can already do it to rats but we still have to find a way to put it to use on humans. |

OK so: Being a bit paranoid I think some of this scepticism at certain people's claims may also be directed at me I would like to mop up: Our base on Rhea is bare! Literally its just a small laboratory with 10 employees rotated every 6 months and a small store facility. It was developed by the UHAA (KITT) i.e GL & Leraq, not just me! |

I think they were talking about mine. I haven't named it or haven't even decided on the moon it's gonna be on. What is the second largest moon? |

Second largest is Rhea. They're all tiny compared to Luna though. |

Based on what I've read I know that Salene is a large asteroid probably thrown into our orbit millions of years ago. I also know that at least one of the moons are volcanic. I know this because one of the moons rotation is a 2:1 ratio to Luna. Factoring in that and Alterra and Luna's combined gravity force it will be very probable that one of them is volcanic. |

All moons eventually settle into a rotational period that matches the body they orbit, so that all moons will have a "dark side". If a moon doesn't, then it must have geologic forces acting on it, or have been impacted by a comet or something at an extreme angle to increase or decrease rotation speed. Anyway, yeah, normal gravity is definitely a no-no. My base on Luna is basically a high-tech shed to house astronauts for a few days, my orbital station is like a prettier version of the space hotel that could be up irl in the next 5 years, and my base on Hecate is |

To remove any paranoia: The two bases in Selene and Artemis really are nothing larger than a small three man lab and a sleeping/eating quarters. The crew rotates every six months. The base on Luna is slightly large, but not by much. It houses seven astronauts, and they swap over once every ten months. It has two small labs, a landing pad (only suitable for VTOL, like the Apollo Lunar Module) and a small living quarters. |

Wow, everyone is really paranoid. Two people make comments and everyone starts volunteering information... |
