Depending on what we decide for planet IV, it's arrival could have initiated some short-lived activity, could it not? And @Ladd: Hooray! |

No, because the moon would've had to have formed millions of years ago already for our planet's species to have adapted to tides and that sort of thing. And maybe for a few minutes, but nothing more. There needed to be a substantial amount of continuous gravitational friction, not something that wouldn't last long at all. Edited by Arcadon, Jun 23 2011, 02:36 PM.

That's the rocket itself. R&D of the rockets was and is much more expensive than the units themselves. |

For a 60 year old rocket? I'm pretty sure Arcadon could make this rocket pretty damn easily. I'm pretty sure almost all of our registered countries could. |

I'm sure a couple have RPed that they couldn't, namely Rahu Mir. It isn't that old, it's 51 years old, and the US' research program to reach that point soared, at minimum, through at least 5 billion dollars in at that time. |

We're ten technological years more advanced than our world, hence the 60 years. And, yes, some countries have chosen not to be able to do that sort of thing. But I'm pointing out the ridiculousness of saying that a country could only have one or two satellites up without creating some sort of alliance with other countries. |
