I play 4e with my group because we have a guy who won't play unless we do 4e and a bunch of people who are relatively new to the game and don't have a preference either way, although I did play a bit of 3.5 a while back.
How is that? My friend and I (both of whom enjoy the books immensely) saw some stuff for it in a hobby store that piqued our interest, but we didn't have the money to spend on it, especially since we had no idea if it was a good game or not. |

I'm still amazed either one of you could have been diplomatic.
*hiss* Okay, seriously. We're talking about pen and paper, but a lot of WoW was based off D&D and D20 games. The paladin is probably the prime example. Most of the classes are also taken from D&D as well, but I have to say that I enjoy the WoW druid a lot more than I ever did in 3.5e.
This is just strange to me because you're basically roleplaying the War of the Roses. There isn't that much magic or even fantasy in ASOIAF to differentiate itself from other settings, like Dragon Lance. Any interest I hold in the series is the characters. |

It's because we hide our leet diplomatic skills for when they're really needed. Like averting civil wars. |

Back to the original topic of this thread, at least for my post, here. (Since I just found this thread) I'm a guy, and I'm not in any sense transgender, mentally. I'm a guy, and I like being a guy, etc. That said, once I've wondered idly what it would be like if I were female. I have no interest in finding out though. Just one of those things you think about. Or, at least I think about. |

I thought every man thought about that. I mean, it's an integral part of some comedy.
