This girl plays a rouge, so high dex is kind of a must in her case, although knowing my (kind of screwed up) cast of players, a dexterityless rouge wouldn't be an impossibility. |

![]() ^This is who I end up playing with, so I feel your pain. Though it was amusing watching devious people try to play a paladin and a LN monk. |

Surprisingly enough, the 'homicidal' part doesn't describe my group ("As you walk through the dark woods, you see a pack of dire wolves, roll for initiative." "Wait guys, maybe we can reason with them, I use diplomacy.") And you haven't seen a screwed up paladin until you've seen Bolvar Fordragon, the human paladin. |

I assume this Bolvar was astonishingly similar to one of my players, who as his first act as a paladin murdered 5 people in an ultimately failed attempt to steal a horse for himself... To put things (kindof) back on track, I've also noticed that its kindof difficult to play characters not of your same sex. One of my female friends once played a male character and even with a good group of players we kept referring to her character as a she. More recently, with a less good group of players I (as a male) played a woman character and was immediately hit on by half the table... Which, depending on your gaming group, is unfortunately probably pretty normal for women gamers. |

Actually, no this guy didn't try to murder people, just get drunk and beat the living daylights out of them. Except he couldn't do that very well because he has less health than the warlock and does less melee damage than the rouge... Anyway, I've never had someone hit on someone else's character with theirs, although with my old group I constantly got asked when their characters were going to 'get lucky' with an NPC. And with that same group I had one guy get a bit... overly excited when I mentioned that I was trying to get a girl that I know (not the same one that was trying to find a figure with clothes on) to play with us, but the group fell apart before I ever got her to play. |

I never seem to have luck getting a dedicated group to play. The last one was when I had a couple friends playing, but one was too obsessed with his character and another had too much fun torturing captives. It led to one of the least likely sentences I'd ever thought I'd say: when confronted with a woman pregnant with what is essentially the anti-christ, I had to ask a player "How far are you willing to go to abort this baby?" |

Art... What happened in your campaign? O.o My husband and I have a hard time finding groups that are willing to actually play characters; most groups we play with (particularly the last one) just want to play their characters like in video games and murder people for no reason. As for being a woman, it's usually not a problem as far as flirtation goes (I'm usually in a mixed group), but the only time I was the only woman the DM saw it fit to have my character raped on two different occasions.
Maybe it's a D&D thing because I'd do it sometimes too. I managed to charm a deity into bed.

I still think that the Paladin deferring to the monk on all issues that needed to be lied about was the best course of action. >.> |

I'm still fairly certain that was violating your alignment... But killing Kyanli definitely was, despite what you think. -.- |

Thats the great thing about playing BT or its offspring, MW. I had several characters I liked to play, one of them being a female freeborn offspring of two Elementals from the Snow Raven clan. She went around challenging eveyone to Trials of Grievance and actually won most of them. lol Never really had a problem with her getting hit on... |
