Florinthus can be compared to a modern day Republic of Venice on steroids. As for culture im modeling most of it on the United States, seeing as thats what im familiar with, but i have a little ethnic sect somewhere that i cant really compare to anything in real life. They're the hard-working farmer folk, who are a stark contrast to the rest of Florinthian high society which is mostly based on service and manufacturing. |

New Emberline also had explorers make it to Demoness, so it's perfectly possible others made a similar journey. |

Tristram is heavily influenced by the United States, probably more than other country I think. Socially and culturally, there is a Western European flavor, more French than anything. |

That's not entirely true, the French aren't really fond of US policies and conservtives, other than that it;s somewhat freindly. Anyway. My country, aesthetically and culturally influenced by Japan and Korea, aethitically they are Japanse and Korean as well, however socially they have the same social and world outlook as many Scamdinavian countries. |

The French have bad opinions about us because we instill our policies and beliefs on other countries. I dont agree with this either. From what I understand the love President Obama but act like President Bush was the devil. I took a French class and all I learned about was how liberal France is. |
