USP AA Ambassador Leonie Scott takes to the platform: "It's the time of the year where nations should discuss any updates regarding their nation and foreign affairs. This can include regional conflicts, disputes etc. If anyone would like to bring up a subject for the assembly's attention. Please do so now." |

"I believe an update on the withdrawal of troops from Justosia would be appropriate," said Crispin Surudhannor. |

Hejolvik stood up and nodded; 'Yes, as a nation with former military stationing in Justosia, I can pledge my support to any action promoting the withdrawal of national and/or international forces from Justosia, pending an executive decision from Justosia, of course.' |

"Withdrawal efforts are behind schedule due to unforeseen circumstances," Leticia Ramirez replied. "Activity in the Containment Zone has ceased, but it appears the contaminant has spread." |

AA Ambassador Leoni Scott leaned forward "Can you clarify what you mean by that contaminant has spread Ramirez? Are you say Rexmentis has re-emerged?" |

Ramirez quickly shook her head. "No, I mean the strange gas and other events perpetrated by the fumigators we discovered late last year. The radiation has been contained, but it has been difficult since our country did not have the resources to do such," she explained. "However, we are very disappointed that the AA has failed to investigate the accusations against Great Laddneia and has instead accepted its denial at face value. We feel this is a great injustice to a nation already wounded." |

"Accusations are accusations, if they are not based on hard evidence they are just words. There are those in Justosia and Taeunas who believe we manufactured Rexmentis, but there is no evidence to suggest that too." Scott replied. |

Ramirez gaped. "But Dr. Dodgeson presented his accusations before the AA during his testimony and as part of his report," she replied. "I can't believe this body would dismiss that. Even if we assume Greater Laddneia had nothing to do with it, Dr. Dodgeson proved the devices only appeared in Justosia after the outbreak and originated elsewhere. They were placed in the Containment Zone. The Assembly owes it to not only Justosia, but the world, to ascertain the origin of these devices for international security!" |

"From what I recall, there were certainly irregularities. I thought that they were being investigated. Are you saying that nothing has yet come from these investigations? If that is so, then the situation in Justosia is still worse than I expected, and the current investigators are either incompetent or someone is still actively engaged against the rebuild. The AA needs to ascertain which and deal with it promptly in either case." -Sir Tony Hutchinson |

Leonie Scott: "If there are investigations are on going then I would ask Ramirez to refrain from any accusations. On another note after the second Hrystan crisis, we are currently in dialogue with nations around the Hrystan, we have had talks with Steffanica and are now are engaging with Greater Laddenia and will talk with Slostia. Isn't about time the United States speaks with Justosia on a diplomatic level?" |
