I think once you've gathered all the information and we've figured some things out, we should address this again. We really didn't have much information about Cerberus at all by the time ELE left. |

Not sure what you mean there, Lomarre. ELE, if it's okay, PM me at your earliest convenience with everything you know on the culture. I'd like to have a tentative wiki page up this week coming. |

look, I was in the process of writing a detailed history of the Cerberus culture, however then RL got in the way and I lost the document... I will see if I can't find it again, however I know from previous convos that it has been decided that this will be a democratic vote type thing... |

All right, I'm a little lost now. What will be a democratic vote type thing? |

I am not sure okay so I dont want to play god here and just create a civilisation everyone then follows as a set, I think it better to get everyone involved, especially countries that have been affected in some direct way by the Cerberus culture, however I think there was an ancient thread that used to discuss this, will try and find it, I think dates are pretty important so I will start working on those as soon as possible...Amarek, I have been told you are now the site historian? |

We've kind of changed the idea behind the Cerberus, I think. They're an NPC empire that will only be measured by influence, not actual empire size. This way, only nations that want a connection to the Cerberus within their sphere of influence have to accept this. What I mean to say is, there may be some inkling of culture or influence left today, but the actual Cerberus Empire will have dissolved some time ago. I think in some of the more important cases, the Cerberus culture will more resemble Ancient Greek culture than Roman, as we're kind of playing this like loosely-connected city-states, whose only common ground across the board was their leader. There will be certain cultural ideas that will be associated with the Cerberus as a whole, but each city-state will have their own traditions as well. This way, each nation -does- get a say in how the Cerberus Empire affected their nation. And yes, I was appointed the historian for the region. I would certainly appreciate assistance on this specific task, if you can give it. I understand that you've maybe lost the document, and if so, I can start from the beginning, but the Cerberus is the first ancient culture that will be posted to the wiki, so it's going to have a page off of which every culture posted after it will be based. |

that sounds great, I had just created the Cerberus empire as a sort of "concrete floor" to get Hesperia started, it was way back in the beggining so I didnt know that it would grow like this, it was never meant to be a "force" that you had to abide by, it was more like a general unity that could give new players who were still unsure about their countries history something to work from however the culture, is a major backbone of the ELE today, many aspects like language and culture are derived from them, even the ruling family have a claim to the Cerberus king (if one ever existed) however I think these will be sorted out later |

I'm just saying, the two underlined concepts are almost directly contradictory. |
