Technology Levels of Sigisinus Computers Sigisinus is nearly 100 years behind the world in terms of computers with only the most basic systems existing. What computers do exist are used primarily for industrial or military purposes. Industry Sigisinus has extremely advanced industrial capabilities. Their mining and metallurgical technology may very well be the most advanced in the world. Industry is a religion to the Sigisians and as such advances at a breakneck pace. Weapons] Sigisinus is behind the world at large by many decades in terms of small arms technology. It also has limited AFV technology and tends to try and make up for this by simply making bigger and bigger AFV. It lacks any aerospace technology, do to religious objections. It has extremely advanced artillery and fortress-building technology however. Communications Telephones are the main form of communication in Sigisinus with telephone lines extending under the mountains. Cell phone technology does not exist in Eisenkrieg. Agriculture Sigisinus is both advanced, and yet completely backwards in terms of agriculture. They have advanced methods of mushroom growing and maintenance, however they haven't advanced past the Iron Age in terms of cereal farming. Edited by Eisenkrieg, Apr 26 2013, 12:34 PM.

The Silver Crux The monetary unit traded in Sigisinus is the Silver Crux. Traditionally an equilateral cross with fanning ends weighing in at a tenth of a troy ounce made of .999% pure silver. However in more recent years the old style has been replaced by a coin made of .999% with a cross imprinted on the front. The coin weighs exactly 0.363 troy ounces. As the nation still trades on the silver standard the coin is worth exactly it's value in silver and as such is currently valued at 8.62$. Without any paper money to speak of all trade is done in hard currency. Although this makes large scale trades considerably more dangerous and limits investment opportunities it keeps inflation at 0%. The Golden Crux and Platinum Crux are also legal currencies. They weigh the same and are valued at 527.66$ and 535.97$ respectively. Edited by Eisenkrieg, Apr 27 2013, 07:35 AM.

The Royalists in Exile The remaining Royalists are thus far the losers of the Kriegen Civil war. Although not technically defeated their holdings are nearly gone. They fight for the integrity of of the noble class and the unity of nation that the centralized power of a monarch promises. Although few remain in number the allegiance of The First Crusade Army remains to their nation and it's ideals and may still cling to the hope of saving the monarchy. The Culture of Sigisinus The Sigisians are a people almost as cold and hard as the mountains they call home. Unlike other culture the people's of Sigisinus never developed an attachment to human life. They saw both themselves and others as simply another piece in the great machine of time, their actions meant nothing if they didn't last forever. As such Sigisians hope to have their lives contributions advance or protect Sigisian culture as a sort of way to obtain immortality. A man who fights and dies for his nation or spends his life mining is valued just as much as a capable leader. Despite the need for social righteousness Sigisians are not social people. This has come about from isolated living in mines in ages past. In addition it is unseemly to show emotion in Sigisian culture as it uses energy which could have been better spent elsewhere. It is because of these things that to outsiders Sigisians appear robot like and unapproachable. Traditionally Sigisians dress extremely heavily and in dark colors. This was out of necessity in order to stay warm in the high peaks. Sigisian attire now normally consists of a government provided shirt, jacket, pants, and leather boots along with a heavy black cloak. When going outside a greatcoat, gloves, and a fur hat are normally worn. Clothing color is normally dark green accept for boots and cloaks which are normally black. The RF, Riurs Faurhtjan The Riurs Faurhtjan, the Mortal Dread are the elite, and soon to be only, soldiers of Sigisinus. Drawn from the ranks of accomplished field medics and doctors they serve as both as the bodyguards of the Federal Premier and his Ministers a well as an image to inspire all other Sigisians and Kriegens. Dressed in all black uniforms of more modern design, lacking the metal armor and heavy cloaks of older uniforms, they are inspiring figures to the populace for two reasons. The first that their red and black armband marks them as honorable and capable men, the second it that they do not wear gas masks. By showing their faces they are proclaiming that they are both open to humanity and that they are strong enough to survive whatever they must face. Maximilian Anatinov had hoped that at the end of the war the Iron Guards can be dissolved leaving the RF as the only military unit of Sigisinus. Although combat trained and ready they are much more focused on the art of medicine. After peace talks are finished the RF ground corps is expected to total only 10,000 men. ![]() Part of an RF armband Commandant of the Riurs Faurhtjan: Theudis Kessler ![]() Flag of the RF Ground Corps

Air Corps of Sigisinus There currently is not a Sigisian air corps, however their massive losses in the civil war have forced them to reconsider their stance on flight. The Minister of War has estimated that a 5,000 man air corps would provide sufficient protection to the nation as well as improve the ability of the nation to supply itself. Political Groups in Eisenkrieg As the fighting draws to a close in Eisenkrieg it's clear that political groups are already forming in preparation for the coming power struggle. Although the current government is mostly Maximilianist, the up coming elections will decide who writes the constitution and shapes the future of the nation. United Maximilianist Party (Sigisian Revolutionary Party) - The current leaders of the nation. Formed under the name Sigisian Revolutionary Party by Maximilian Anatinov at the beginning of the Civil War it's focuses are on economic equality, social justice, national unity, and international peace. Greater Kriegen Nobility Union - Made up mostly of officers and bureaucrats who wish to see the old form of pre-war noble rule restored. National Republican Party of Eisenkrieg - A democratic movement who's main focus is on federal democracy compared to the Maximilianist's focus on Council Socialism. Imperialist Party - A small party that urges the centralization of power with an Emperor so as to strengthen the state under unified rule with the end goal of being able to return to the world stage without fear of intimidation. Glory First - A small party that has a powerful amount of unofficial backing. It is an extremely pro-military group who wants the military to be the main focus of the nation so as to never be defeated again. General Kessler is the highest ranking member of the group. The White Movement Even as the Royal armies crumble in their death throes the actions and ideals of the Sigisian government has spurred a counter-revolutionary movement. The White Movement, the antithesis of the reds in Swegenthia, are moving to rally the cities of the north and east against their many foes. Not aware of the death of Iverian IV they are acting on his behalf to restore Royal rule to the nation. Badly equipped and prepared for this turn of events they hope to win through superior numbers and divine intervention. Weary of outside forces they're doing everything in their power to keep foreigners safe from the bloodshed.
