Recommended 60 smithing
Smith and smelt Mithril onsite

Process:
Withdraw from bank in dwarf city - Fire Staff, nature runes, 100k cash (you do just about break even on Mithril plates but there are peaks and troughs), Noted Mithril , Twice the amount of Noted Coal- plus a few extra incase you meet a coal thief.

Head to the Blast Furnace- on the east side of the dwarf city noted on the map by a furnace icon- the blast furnace is below ground level.

Once inside grab yourself a hammer, bucket and shovel that spawn there. Wielding your staff you now have 21 spaces left.

We start at the base of the conveyor belt: Sell the dwarf 20 mith ores and buy them back off him. Run the ores to the top of the conveyor and deposit them. Run back to the dwarf, sell him 20 coal, deposit then repeat.

We now have 20 mithril ores and 40 coal sitting on the top of our conveyor.

Run over to the bicycle and pedal until all your ores have dropped into the vat- watch the gearbox for any jams- if you see one "repair " it.

Carrying on clockwise from the bicycle we see the coke store and the boiler. Time to get dirty- use the shovel to stoke the boiler. Keep stoking until the second time the heat bar on the boiler turns red (it turns red then 5 seconds later turns orange- keep stoking till it goes red again)

Now the next stage is where you can be injured BUT if you are soloing the furnace this will not happen to you- even without a dial reader.
Stand at the pump but position your camera angle so you can see the mould the molten bars drop into- this is your guage.

Start pumping - watch along the length of the piping (there are two possible break points- one before the guage, one on the last angles). If you get a break in the pipe then stop pumping and fix it- else you are wasting time and more importantly may disrupt your rythym if the boiler gets cold and needs re stoking.

Got an unbroken pipe?- then keep pumping until you see your molten ores drop out of the furnace- this is your signal to STOP PUMPING.

Run up to the mould and take advantage of the handy water supply to cool down the bars enough to be able to remove them (or stand around for 3 minutes whilst they cool naturally).

Run the bars clockwise to the smithing anvils- smith, alch then repeat the process.

Thats the method now for some hints

1. Dont bother with Addy or Rune if you want speed - the dwarf trader wont buy or sell them. Do Addy and Rune in general because of the half coal requirement.

2.There's no normal furnace here so you cannot craft your gold or silver bars- you have to bank them

3. Crafting gauntlets do NOT give their XP bonus to gold smelting here

4. Iron ore never fails here even without a ring of forging.

5. If someone else is there its in your best interests to work together - I've never had a problem organising teams there.

6. If you are there on your own you can generally buy all your mith from the trader as he gets supplies from the other dwarvern miners- I took 1500 mith ores out of my bank, made 2500mith bars and still had 754 of my original mith ores left at the end.

7. The dwarves don't appear to mine much coal- don't rely on them for your supplies.

Happy smelting
