Assalmualikum everyone

I've come across this article researched by two Doctors in the field of criminology which presents a case study on the EDL. Heres a snippet if your intrested intrest you:

'The motivations of perpetrators of racially motivated hate crime (especially those
whose violence is undetected) have received perplexingly little academic scrutiny to date
(Chakraborti and Garland 2009). This article is a first attempt at presenting material
gained from accessing a group of young males who regularly use racially and religiously
motivated violence. In doing this, we employ three case studies, undertaken with male
EDL supporters from working-class backgrounds and examine how they construct a specific
form and style of violent masculinity. In all three cases, we suggest that acute feelings
of marginalization and disadvantage prompt internalized negative emotions of
disillusion and anger, which then manifest themselves through externalized hostility,
resentment and fury directed at the scapegoat for their ills: the Islamic ‘other’.'

interesting...its the recession that has brought their hatred of Islam and Muslims to their tongues and actions. they feel marginalised the article said..in simple words 'jealous' they see muslims doing well (because they work harder) and now they feel 'marginalised'. They have become deluded in thinking this government prefers Muslims over them..so they blame the government for aiding and supporting muslims to their expense.
the bottom line is just jelousy, skint, and looking to blame someone for that. their racist background directs them to hate Islam, its no longer fashion to openly show you hate blacks, its the muslims now!
Allah says "Let there be no compulsion in religion, indeed truth and guidance is made crystal clear from ambiguity and falsehood" TMQ - Chapter 2 verse 256. He most high and blessed also said: "Indeed, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold falsehood does perish! TMQ- Chapter 21 verse 18.
