And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." Surat Al-`Ankabūt [29:46] Follow me on Twitter | |

Interestingly, a guy called Fiyaz Mughal who is Director of 'Faith Matters' was talking about just this kind of thing on George Galloway's most recent 'Comment' programme on Press TV. He said that internet material like this may fall down cracks between different pieces of legislation. He also said that one in three of those who post this kind of thing are EDL sympathisers. I personally think that they should run the risk of being prosecuted for SOMETHING for writing this kind of thing - it's incitement for a start. Surely Facebook should be looking to shut them down for this kind of message? It's frankly not acceptable in a civilised society. Fiyaz Mughal said that it is quite normal to hold a critical eye up to religion - what's wrong with that? After all, I can post my questions here, give my point of view, say that I don't agree with others on this board about a number of things, but I choose to do so by discussion, which is totally reasonable. |

Totally agree. people who post material 'inciting' hatred or 'inciting' violence should be dealt with. We are always up for a discussion/debate about religion.....or cars......or football |
