Proper CnC Lately I see a lot of people posting, "Oh, good job." "That's hot" "10/10" "cool" "nice". The maker of the signature hasn't put a lot of time and effort in his signature to hear that, he wants to hear what is good about it and why you like it. Also, for the more "Beginner/Novice" signature makers on Menace. Don't say I don't like it m8, sorry. Tell them why you don't like it and what they can do to improve it. Personally I don't think when you make a signature, you like to hear, it's nice or it sucks sorry m8. You want to hear why it's good or why it sucks. Please keep that in mind next time your posting. Ripping What is Ripping? Ripping is essentially stealing another person's artwork (Tags, LPs, etc..) and claiming them as your own. Different Types of Ripping * Tag Ripping: Tag ripping is taking a tag, usually from another forum, and displaying it on the forum, pretending you have made it from scratch and claiming it to be your own. Usually people who rip tags will make minor changes to it, such as adding their name in text in order to try and make it seem more authentic. However, some people are so stupid that they won't change anything about the tag. * Layer ripping: This is done when a PSD has been given out to the public for learning purposes by a member with the intention to help new GFX artists learn from looking at the layer by layer process. A member will take 1, 2, 3, or any number of layers from that members PSD and use it in their PSD. Since they have not made this layer themselves and stole it from another members PSD, this is ripping and you will get banned for it. * Tag-layer ripping: A combination of the two above. Tag-layer ripping is when you take the png or jpeg file of someone else's tag and paste it into a new layer in your tag to use it to create effects. * Ripping Other Artwork: Ripping Tutorials, LPs, Icons etc. is the same as Tag Ripping Thank you, ~ ArcaneX Staff |
